First off, I shall appologize if the following entry seems rather incoherent. The reason being is that I'm sick. I've got some sort of head-cold thing goin' on and it's causing my brain to be not very happy and making me feel rather sleepy. It's funny because everything below my next feels fine. lol Well, with the execption of feeling a little naucious a couple of times. But praise God that I only felt that way for a bit and nothing actually came of it. lol So, moving on to the content of the entry. I wanted to post last night, but by the time I'd done everything I was up to I just felt so icky and tired so I went to sleep.
Yesterday went fine at school except that I wasn't feeling real dandy. I got there early again to see if the bookstore line would be semi-short and I could get the last two little books I needed for oceanography, but it didn't look very promising. Just as I was starting to turn around from heading toward the end of the line, there was this guy standing next to me and he remarked something like, "Unbelievable, isn't it?" In reference to the line, of course. I said yeah and was going to go, but then he asked if I happened to know where the other campus was and I said that actually, I do so I explained it to him. That whole time I kept thinking I knew him from somewhere, but I couldn't place it so I didn't really want to hang around talking to some random guy I didn't know. lol After a bit the conversation sort of broke off and I told him to have fun waiting in the book like and just... walked off. lol
After I'd gotten about half-way to the building my first class is in I suddenly though to myself, "I think that was Alex H." Tammy used to be friends with him and he comes to my church sometimes. I felt so bad when I finally realized that it was him. lol Mostly because he put forth effort to talk to me and I just kinda shrugged him off thinking he was some scary guy. I'm hoping I see him at church on Sunday and get a chance to tell him I'm sorry. lol
When I got to my classroom, the class before mine was still in there and I had lots of time left so I started back the way I'd come and went into the cafeteria to see if I could see anyone I knew. I didn't and so I was going to go out the back doors until I noticed that hey, that's where one of the smoking sections is and there's no way I want to willingly walk through that nasty crap. lol So I turned around and started back across the cafeteria and when I got to the other side, there was Wes! lol Yay! Someone I knew! So Wes and I sat on a bench outside and chatted until more people started walking by signaling that it was time for us to head to our classes. I might end up carpooling with him and this other guy he knows some of the time, we'll see on that one. We had a nice conversation though and he's liking the college so that's good. :)
After school I went to work at the office again for a few hours and then on my way home I went back by the college bookstore, but the line was still really long so I decided to forget that and just go home. I was home long enough to eat some chocolate frozen yogart and dinner(in that order, lol) and then it was off to work at the theatre. I didn't bring my book and it was really slow, but I survived. I've been working on not being bored at all. It's not a good thing to say that you're bored so instead it's just that I'm thinking or relaxing or wondering what to do next now. lol I made two batches of popcorn last night thinking that we'd probably use up at least one and a half, but NO ONE got popcorn. lol Not many people came and only one couple even got any consessions. lol So, I took popcorn and soda home to mommy and daddy and they enjoyed that at least. :)
I got online after I got home to login to my online class and check out the syllabus, etc. The online classroom thing is a little weird and somewhat slow, but I'll survive. My first "assignment" was to e-mail my professor a "short" bio and a picture of myself. Blarg. I'm not a real big fan of having my picture taken, but oh well. lol I think a lot of people mis-interpreted those directions though because on the bulletin board for the class, there's six or eight topics of people's bios. lol The welcome message clearly says an e-mail addressed to the teacher, but oh well. lol ;) I think I stressed myself a little over the run-down of the course material last night though(and being sick did not help). I think I'm less stressed now, but it's hard for me to tell a lot of times if I'm stressing out or not.
I went to sleep around 11 PM with plans to get up at 8 AM. Unfortunately for me though, I woke up at 3 AM with a rather unpleasant pain on the left side of my head. I tried to go back to sleep and stuff, but it wasn't working and it was a weird pain kinda thing, not like a regular headache, so I ended up waking up my mom to ask her what to do. I don't like doing that because then my mom get's woken up in the middle of the night too and then she gets worried about me since I'm not feeling good. She ended up sitting with me for a while and got me some medicine and massaged my head for me. It took a while, but I started to feel a bit better. Of course, mom told me I don't have to worry about bothering her at night, that it's not a problem and she wants to know if I'm feeling icky in an unusual way. I knew that, but a lot of times I still can't bring myself to bother her. It is very nice to have her to help me feel better though and I don't know what I'm going to do whenever I finally move out. lol I fell back asleep some time around 4 AM and got to sleep straight through the rest of the night at least.
In the morning I felt better, as far as the head pains went, so that was good. I said good-bye to mom as she was leaving for work and then started getting ready. When I was brushing my teeth I looked in the mirror and noticed this read blotch on the side of my neck. I'm pretty sure it's a bite from some sort of bug, a spider, I suspect, and it's on the same side as where I had the pains so I imagine it had at least something to do with that. Stupid bugs. I just hope it's not in my room anymore. lol And I hope that it doesn't bite any other members of my family either. lol
I left for school early this morning in hopes that I could have time to wait through the bookstore line and get my books that I needed before my first class. Yay and thanks to God because it worked out just right for time. :) I read part of my reading assignment for scriptwriting while I waited and then got my books fairly fast once I got to the head of the line. I had to wait a few minutes to pay for them, but it all went by quickly since I filled my time with reading. Then I had just enough time to go to the bathroom and get to my first class a few minutes early. :)
I sneezed a lot in both my classes today. You know, those really wonderful sneezes where snot flies out your nose in large quantities. lmao Yeah, those. And then I didn't grab my tissue out of my pocket in time so I threw my hands up over my nose and mouth and then had to keep one hand there so no one saw all the lovely snot pour out from me while the other hand fished out my tissue. Did that a few times. lol Sorry for the gruesome details of it. ;)
Today was the first long day in oceanography and it was nice to hear from my teacher that generally he tries not to lecture to us for a full two hours on two-hour days when there's not a lab(first lab is on Friday). So, today we spent the second half of class watching a video that was sort of a general introduction to the things we'll be studying this quarter. I was starting to feel more icky around that point so with all the lights off in the room a nap was starting to sound really good. I didn't fall asleep though so that was good as well. ;)
And now, here I am at the office once more. Not many phone calls today either so I'm just sort of chillin' here and waiting until I get to go home. When I first got here though I realized that I probably wasn't going to feel up to going to work at the theatre again tonight. So, I called around to see if anyone who wasn't scheduled would work for me and it wasn't looking real good and finally I got to the last person I could call. Before that, I called Nate to see if he'd work for me, but he didn't really want to so he told me if no one else would then he'd do it, but I should call the last person. Guess who the last person was... Brian K.! lol I was afraid to call him. *hangs head in shame* I know, I know, but God did help me get up a bit of courage. My nerve endings all freaked out on me as soon as the ringing started and my voice sounded, to me, a bit wavery for the first few words, but I survived and Brian said he'd work for me and he'll see me over the weekend at work and I said, yeah, lots of time over the weekend. lol That's because we're opening Shark Tale on Friday and we're going to have three shows instead of the standard two on Saturday and Sunday so really, it's quite nice for me because then I get more hours. lol It will be a bit crazy though, I'm sure. I'm just hoping and praying to God that I will feel all better by work time on Friday though.
Okay, this is like, a majorly long post now so I'll just be on my way. I get to leave here and go home soon so that's exciting. lol My stupid bug bite has been giving me little fleeting pangs of pain since oceanography class. Arg. Oh, and tomorrow is my appointment with an advisor to find out what I need to take to get my A.A.G.S. degree. I'm hoping the only required class I'm missing is a math one, but the info on the website isn't very specific in the degree requirements. lol Anyway, I'm off now, TTFN!

Today was my first day back at school and it was good. :) It used to be an absolute nightmare trying to find a parking spot in the morning because a lot of the classes all start at 10:30 AM and that's when my classes were. lol But this morning, I got a parking spot pretty much right away instead of having to drive around for an hour looking for one. lol Praise be to God! Yay God! :D That was the first way awesome thing of the day. lol
So, since I got their an hour early and didn't have to spend that hour looking for a place to park, I went and made an appointment to see an advisor on Thursday. I tried to call on Friday and then I sent them an e-mail to make an appointment(they won't let you over e-mail, yet they've got the e-mail address for advising right up on their site... why?), but that didnt' work. So, I went and there was around 6 or 7 people in line waiting and I figured it was going to take a while. A few minutes later I was talking to the lady at the desk and low and behold, the appointment time I was shooting for was open! lol Apparently the computer wouldn't let her add me in though so I had to hang around for about five minutes and wait for the guy next to her to finish what he was doing and then enter my information into his computer. Not too bad though considering I'd never had luck before. lol But then again, before I'd just tried to get a walk-in appointment so maybe that's most of the difference, who knows.
After that was accomplished I still had quite a bit of time before my first class so I went around wandering a bit. Walked by both my classrooms to see where they were, went around to do a bit of a walk on the other side of the campus, etc. I kept my eyes open hoping to see Wes and say hi too, but I didn't see him. There are a lot of people at my school. lol Bummer I didn't find him though 'cause then I just had to keep walking around all by myself. lol Sad. So, I ended up going to sit in my first classroom over a half an hour early and read Harry Potter. lol I'm re-reading the fourth book right now.
My first class, Archeology, was good. Teacher didn't recognize me at all, but I was sort of expecting that since he is pretty old and I had Cultural Anthropology with him about two years ago. lol And I was glad to see too that there were a fair amount of people in the class because I was a tad worried there weren't going to be and they were going to cancel the class, but yay to God again because it doesn't look like they will and I think there are enough people enrolled. :D The setup is pretty much exactly like the class I had with him before, save for a different subject. We just have lectures, some reading assignments, we'll watch a video every once in a while, and we have three tests and that's it. Ahh... lovely. lol Just the sort of thing I like. I was talking to Sam earlier and I told her I prefer tests over projects and papers any day. She said she doesn't like tests. I do though. Don't know why. ;) lol Anyway, that class went nicely and I survived reading a portion of the syllabus(sp?) alloud to the rest of the class. I'm pretty sure I turned bright red, but I survived and I think I sounded nice and loud and clear... I hope. lol
Went straight to Oceanography after that and found myself a nice seat in the corner about mid-way through the classroom. I almost sat in the very front since it was the only table there weren't any people at yet, but I decided that wouldn't be a good idea for me. lol That class went nicely as well and that teacher remembered me. :) Or at least he said I was another familiar face which means he remembers I took Meteorology with him at some point. lol The only part I didn't like was that these two (stereotypically, I know, it's bad) preppy girls came in late and there were no seats left so they sat on stools... directly to my right and a tad behind me. Arg. I would have been fine except that they kept whispering to each other while the professor was talking(which is something he, and other teachers, ask you not to do) and then one of their cell phones went off toward the end of the class as well and it just annoyed me and got under my skin a bit. I think it's mostly because I really like this teacher. It's hard to come by good teachers that make learning fun and enjoyable so I respect him quite a bit and these girls were being very disrespectful and I think that's what really bothered me. I'm hoping they won't get in the class though. lol It's a full class and one of them was near the bottom of the waitlist and the other wasn't even on it so, though it's rather mean and I shouldn't, I'm kind of hoping they don't get into the class or decide to take something different on their own accord. Other than that, school was great though. :D Oh, and no projects or big papers in Oceanography either. Wee haw!
After school I went and got myself some Taco Bell and took it to work for lunch. It was very slow at the office today. There wasn't anything for me to do save answer the phones this time and I was feeling kinda pooped after school even though I was only there for three hours and all. lol But so the phone rang a few times, I talked to Sam online, and played some online games. Then I decided I might as well get started on homework even though I didn't have to. So, I started my Oceanography homework for the week. Each week we have to read two to three chapters in the book and then answer a few questions at the end of each chapter and then you turn it in and as long as you did it and made a proper attempt to answer all the questions, you get full credit for it. After I got part-way through the second chapter I got a headache and decided to stop 'cause it'd be time to leave soon anyway.
I came home and rested some and watched TV with mom. We watched a few of the SG-1 episodes that were on and whatnot and I polished off the first bag of candy corn I bought the other day and had some chocolate frozen yogurt. lol At least that stuff doesn't have any fat or staturated fat. ;) lol Then the next SG-1 episode that was on was one mom and I didn't really feel like watching so she decided to read and I thought I'd finish my oceanography homework. So, I did and now it's done and it's not due until next Monday. lmao
Yesterday after church my mom and I went to see First Daughter. It was okay. Cute and all, but sort of like half the other movies that have been out in recent years. lol Actually, the plot was quite similar to that of Chasing Liberty, but a lot better and much cleaner. There was some nice funny stuff too and I kept thinking the whole time that the guy in the movie looked a lot like Nick Lachey(sp?). lol Same sort of build on the two of them or something. Anyway... lol After that we went to Target and that's where I got the candy corn. I also bought some lotion and some new shampoo. I was contemplating buying a DVD or CD, but I wasn't really that interested in any of them. :( The DVDs that I do want to buy don't come out until mid to late October so I have to wait until then. lol But on the upside, I'm doing an okay job with saving money to pay for my next quarter of college! lol That's good. :) Ugh, I'm tired so it's off to sleep with me now. Nighty night!

*sigh* I don't really know what to do with myself right now. I slept until around noon at which point I finally got out of bed and took a shower. I had leftover cold pizza for breakfast along with a glass of milk and then mom cut my hair for me. Trimed off a few inches in the back and whatnot. School starts on Monday. I realized that yesterday and was all nervous/excited. Wes must have realized it too because last night at work he was all like, "School starts on Monday!" He said that he's nervous and I shouldn't be since I've been there before and this will be his first quarter. lol
It was freaky at work last night. First, I got there and all the lights were off. I'm like, what the hey? Turns out only two kids showed up for the first show and they just gave them free passes to come back later and the guys played Halo on the big screen. *shakes head* Silly. Anyway, I wasn't totally sure what the evening show was going to be like after I heard that, but holy cow... TONS of middle schoolers! There were around 150 people and only about 10 of them were adults. The rest were middle schoolers and maybe a couple high schoolers, possibly a few younger kids too. It was VERY noisy. lol
I also worked at the office yesterday before going to the theatre. That went pretty dandy. Installed some more software in the morning and then read quite a bit of my book and played some games online. There weren't very many phone calls while I was there yesterday actually. Oh, and I ended up calling my mom to ask her if I could get pizza for us for dinner on my way home and that's how I ended up with the leftovers for breakfast this morning. ;)
Let's see... what else since my last post? Well, I spent the rest of the week mostly just lying about at home. I had Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday completely off so I just chilled here. I worked on some website things and did some other junk and a fair amount of reading, watched some TV and movies with mom, etc. :) Oh, and I put up the fanlisting for BSB's song "If You Knew What I Knew" the other day as well. :) Humm... guess that's it for now. *waves*

I got to sleep in this morning and it was quite nice. :) I had my alarm set for 10:30 AM, but I didn't end up getting up until 11 AM just because I didn't feel like getting out of bed yet. lol I was up a bit late, but I still got plenty of sleep so no big. I'm going to try and go to bed at a good time tonight and wake up at 10:30 AM or so tomorrow so I can keep myself in somewhat of a pattern. Plus, it's kind of nice to have all this time during the day rather than sleeping through it all. lol
After I got up I had breakfast and got myself all clean and dressed. I decided to keep my PJ pants on though since I'm not going anywhere today and they're comfortable. :) Once that was all done I sat down here at my computer to continue working on getting the old archives all done and re-formatted, etc. So, yes, they are all done and up now and you can view them by clicking on the link over in the content area under the archives heading. :) Unfortunately, some of the pages are being mean to me and I get the scrollbar along the bottom of the page. Arg. Anyone know why and/or how to get rid of it? I know others have had problems with that before, but this is the first time I ever have and I don't know why exactly. Have an idea, but I don't want that to be it because it would just serve to agitate me. lol
Once I got finished with uploading the old archives and making sure everything was okay I thought I'd validate the rest of this site as well. I think I'll be waiting until I make a new layout though because it would just be too much of a hassle for me to bother with it right now. lol I'll fix up all the code on the next layout though, I think. Provided I remember anyway. ;)
I haven't really done anything else yet today. Just worked on getting that up and I'm happy to have that project accomplished. Looks like though I'm going to be doing some more work for a former website client. He's got another site he's making and currently he's just got a frontpage site up and he wants it to look a little nicer. It's for a non-profit organization so I was going to offer to help for free, but when he e-mailed me today he asked if the same fee I charged him before was still fine. I think I'll wait and see how much he has me do, because if it's not a TON of stuff, then I won't charge him for it. Anyway, off I go to decide on what I shall do now that I've completed the old archives project.

I fear I'll be much dissapointed with the "new" Backstreet Boys. Already I am appalled by new lyrics. This is not an appropriate song to be singing nor something you want to pass off as being okay in this world. I realize they've sang "suggestive" things in the past, but this is really taking it too far. I understand that they want to come back strong, that they want to have people like their music, but they're playing far too much into the hands of current MTV pop culture which is something I never thought they were about. I want so much to have the excitement for the new album and for the concerts that will follow, but with each new thing, I'm just not sure and I don't feel into it this time around. Someone has far too much bad influence on them. Am I the only one who feels slightly like the Boys don't care about what the fans who've been with them for so long want, that they only care about trying to sell their new material and make money and be popular according to MTV? I've been told that this is probably what fans want, that fans have been starting to like this sort of thing since the Boys have been absent with new music for so long, but it's not that way for me. Sure, I like other music too, different genres, but my Boys were supposed to still be my Boys and they are not. I'm all for them going a little more rock, but all this stuff is not the edge I had expected or hoped for and I'd really been hoping for lyrics that I could actually listen to. Those lyrics that I linked from "Poster Girl" are absolutely terrible, talking about shop lifting and smoking cigarettes. What are they doing? Why have they fallen so far?
I've been spending quite a few hours the past few days working on re-formatting the code for all of my old blog entries. For one the setup just looked kinda ugly and not very organized to me now and for another thing, I decided I'm make them XHTML valid. I've probably got about 7 or 8 more monthly archives to do before I'm finished. I already have the little layout made too so hopefully those will all be up in a few days and then I'm going to work on getting the rest of this site valid and the content back up. That is unless I decided to take a break from this site to work on another. We'll see.
Tammy passed her driver's test on Thursday so that was really good. :) She's hopefully going to get her car in a week or so and then she can start driving me places. lol That'd be nice. Especially considering for the past I don't know how long, I've been the only one able to drive out of any of the friends I hung out with so I'd always be driving if we wanted to do something and you know, I don't mind too much and all and I'm really generous about paying for things sometimes when my friends don't have money, but gas is expensive and sometimes it'd be nice if they offered to give me some gas money when they could. I've gotten a bit a few times, but I like had to ask and then I felt bad. Ugh. Sorry, moving on.
Friday morning I woke up nice and early and headed off to see Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. I pulled a Holly though and read the clocks all completely wrong because I woke up an hour too early and thought it was just the right time and consequently arrived at the theatre an hour early and finally realized it after I sat in my car a couple minutes wondering why the box office did not look like it was open. lol Go figure! So, I went and walked around Target for a while and went to a couple other places. Didn't buy anything though which is probably a very good thing since I really ought to be saving for more college and I'm not making much money with only 3 hours a week right now, right? *shakes head* Anyway, finally got time for me to go watch the movie and it was pretty good. For some reason I felt like the plot was lacking a little bit though I need to go watch it again in order to figure out where because I can't right now. lol Awesome movie though as far as effects. All the backgrounds are digitally created in that movie. ALL of them. The actors and props they interacted with were all shot on a blue screen(same thing as a green, but different color) and the backgrounds were created and added in digitally. It's amazing because while you're watching the movie, you forget all of that which shows how well it was done. There were also some quite humorous parts two of which that were my favorites, having taken photography classes, were the "*crying* I shot the ground!" and "Polly, lens cap." lol Brilliantly funny ending to the movie. lol
Friday afternoon I did a lot more work on the old archives for here and then it was off to work which went fine, though quite slow. I fairly well just read my book the whole time, which is quite sad. All was good though and when I got home I called Tammy and signed on for a Saturday adventure.
Saturday morning I, once again, woke up bright and early(I consider it to be so anyway) and went to pick up Tammy's sister and then we drove over to pick up Tammy. I drove since Tammy hasn't gotten her car yet and doesn't have insurance yet either. We went to Wal*Mart to go find fabric for Tammy's sister's homecoming dress. The theme this year is a knight's tale so Tammy's making her sister a nice medieval-style dress for it and she's also going to make a cape for the date. ;) lol I met him too because on our way back from Wal*Mart and our lunch at Taco Bell we stopped at Claire's to look at jewlrey to match the dress, etc. It just so happens that the boy works at a store right near it so we walked over. It was funny because Tammy knows him too so she went in first, her sister, and then me and he hugged both of them in hello and then Tammy introduces me as her friend Holly and he turns to me and goes, "Do you want a hug too?" in his lovely English accent(yup, he's from England, lol) and I'm all like, "Sure!" So he gave me a hug too. lol While the three of them were talking I noticed the bomb thing to get for Sam to add to her very be-lated birthday package I'll hopefully be sending to her soon. It just totally screamed Sam at me so I got it. lol Darn too bad they didn't have any in blue though because that would have been ideal, but oh well, it's still a total Sam gift. ;)
After all of that I dropped them both off and came home to chill for a while and yes, do more on the archives, and then it was off to work again. We had twice as many people last night as we did on Friday night so that was kind of good at least. Matt was being terribly annoying to me again though. He's been especially bad with that lately and I've no idea why. And then I think for the rest of the night I continued coding work. lol Oh yes, and Friday night after work was the Summer finale's for SG-1 and Atlantis and they were both good, but now I have to wait another however many months to catch the other half of the seasons. Arg. Season 7 of SG-1 comes out next month though and I might be pre-ordering it tonight. ;)
This morning I got up early again for church and we started our Fall study of the book of Revelation. I'm quite excited for it as it's such a facinating book of the Bible and controversial as well so hopefully God will use this to shed some light on my thinking this year. :) And for those of you who don't believe, well, of course I wish you would so if you're interested in reading the Bible, just DON'T start with this book. lol It would confuse you a lot. I've read it all the way through before and it was confusing and scary so I'm hoping this time though I'll understand it's true meaning a little better. :)
After church we went by the store and got some sandwhiches to bring home for lunch and whatnot. Then it was more coding followed by some chores, more coding, making dinner and making cookies half way through preparing dinner because the evaporated milk we had was... hard. Ew. So I made the cookies while mom went to the store to get new evaporated milk and then I finished the dinner meal when she got home and went back to my computer to do more coding! lol Then I took a nice long break and came out here to the family room to watch Titanic on TV and play on my laptop. It'd been quite a while since I'd seen that movie and yay for watching it on TV where they'll cut out all the bad stuff save for a few swear words. lol It was good to watch again though and then it brought on a discussion with my mom wondering how many different Titanic movies there are and the fact that we've probably seen them all. lol Plus there's the movie Britanic which I really liked and have on tape. :)
Now I should be wraping this up because I get to wake up early tomorrow morning too! I guess I might as well just make it a habit now since school starts in a week anyway and I'll be getting up early every morning for that. I don't work anymore this week so I'm going to have to figure out what to do with all that time. I'm thinking Bible study, coding, and room cleaning. Those sound like good uses of my time and I was also thinking about going to EMP, but I'm not sure if I want to go there all by myself and it's doubtful I'll get anyone to go with me. Bummer. Anyway, I'm off. I think I'll go and order season 7 of SG-1 since I'll get a good discount on it through Columbia House if I order it tonight. Ta ta!

Well hello new desk! lol It finally came today. Last night I filled in a form that they have specifically for if your item does not arrive by the scheduled time. I don't think I sounded like the nicest person in it though. Oops. Anyway, due to that some lady called me at about 8:30 AM this morning to tell me that the vehicle had broken down yesteday and that's why I didn't get my order. So at that point I was awake so I got up and had some breakfast and watched some TV, though there's not really anything good on at that time in the morning. I had my alarm set for 9 AM anyway just in case they brought my desk that early.
Around 11 AM I decided to put my book down and take a nap. My mom got home just as I was dosing off and woke me up, but she went to take a nap too so I fell back to sleep pretty quick. I napped for 2 hours and felt much better. :) I continued to wait for my desk to come, but alas, it did not. The day rolled on and I got on my computer for a little bit and read some more of my book and then it was getting close to time for work so I got ready early and then sat to watch a little TV with my mom.
It was shortly into watching TV and about a quarter to six when the phone rang and I answered it. Low and behold, he was the guy coming to deliver my stuff! He said he was on my road and wasn't sure where to go so I told him and he got here about five minutes later and brought the box into the house and I signed for it and that was that and he left. By that time it was about 15 minutes before I needed to leave so I couldn't start setting up my desk or anything. I went to work and everything was pretty normal. It was a really slow night, which we expected. And good news, I don't think Brian K. hates me 'cause he said hi to me right away. Woo haw! lol I was a little afraid because he's been on vacation for the past week and a half or something and I totally thought he was going to like hate me or something, but he doesn't so all can go back to the way it was before I screwed up and that's a good thing. It's not fair though because he got to go to Ireland. Blarg.
When I came home I called up Tammy and talked to her as I started moving some things off my old computer desk. Had to call her tonight to see how her not school-school thing was going. It's hard to explain and I don't really even get it so I won't even bother trying. She says it's sad and kind of boring. I also had to call to wish her good luck because tomorrow she's taking her driving test to get her license. She's been wanting to get it for ages, but all this things kept popping up and hindering so hopefully tomorrow she'll get her license at the age of 19. lol Then she can start driving me places. Ah, that'd be nice. ;)
After I hung up with her I finished getting everything off the old desk and then had dad help me move it to the side so I could have everything clear for setting up the new desk. I vaccuumed first too since the floor under the desk is normally so hard to get to. It was probably around 9 PM when I got started putting all the pieces to the desk together. It took me about two hours to setup, probably just a bit less than that acutally. I did the whole thing by myself with the few exceptions of having my dad hold one part for me and then having him put the glass on top since the glass is the whole weight of my desk pretty much. lol Dude though, the desk is HUGE! lol It takes up a good sized portion of one corner of my room and now I have more desk space than I know what to do with at the moment, but I'm sure I'll think of something. ;) Plus, when school starts and I have homework, I'll actually have a place to write on now because my old desk just had enough room for my computer stuff, there was no leftover space for writing. Anyway, I'll try and remember to take a picture of it soon. Might wait until I get some of the other stuff in my room settled first though, we'll see. The only bummer about the new desk is that there aren't any drawers so now I'll need to figure out what to about the stuff that was in the drawers of my old desk. That's gonna have to wait until tomorrow though because all this work has made me tired and I think I've earned myself some of my no fat, no sugar added ice cream. lol
Wooh, I guess this entry is long enough. Don't really have much else to say except that I only get a VERY measly 3 hours of work this whole coming week so I need to find some other way to earn money. I'm considering starting up my own web design company. I'd really appreaciate some thoughts from all of you either via e-mail or the tag board here letting me know if you all think I'm good enough for something like that. I mean, I've done some professional sites for people before, but they were mostly for people I know so it's a little different. Oh yeah, my room's even more of a mess now that I've messed around with things, but at least my bed will be clear in a few moments when I move the last two things so that I can sleep on it later. lol TTFN!

I spent from about 11 AM to 5 PM waiting for a Staples store truck to pull into the driveway and deliver my desk and it didn't come. ARG. My order status said that it was supposed to be delivered today and this morning the status said "shipped" so why in the heck didn't it come? You have to sign for it since it's an expensive item and so they say that someone should be at your house all day from 9 AM to 5 PM to sign and so my mom woke me up when she left for work and I waited for it to come and it didn't. It wouldn't be a big deal if I didn't have to be here to sign or if they'd had the status say that it was still processing or something, you know? And too, my mom and I wanted to go out to do things, but we stayed around here until 5 PM waiting for the desk to come. And before we left after 5 I even printed out a sheet from staples.com that would allow the driver just to leave the order on the doorstep even if no one signed for it, but it didn't come while we were gone either. I hope they either send me a notice or it comes tomorrow otherwise I will be further unhappy with them. I would have appreciated a call or something today too, but seeing as how it's 9:30 in the evening, it doesn't look like I'll be getting one. They even ask for your phone number when you order so that the driver can call you if they can't find your house or something so if the driver wasn't going to make it today, they should have called. :( Some of you may think I'm over-reacting, but when they tell you it's been shipped and it's coming today(they deliver it themselves, not UPS or someone else), then I expect it to be here today.
In other news, mom and I went to Pizza Hut for dinner and got that rip and dip crust stuff. It wasn't very good. We both like the traditional pan crust a whole lot better. Oh well, still tasted okay. Then we went to Michael's and got some crafty stuff. Mom got a few things and I got some cute soap with snowmen in it(yes, IN it), a star shaped keychain clip thing, and a really cute mini clay pot that's really tiny. lol After that we went into the natural market so mom could get some stuff and then we went over to Target and I didn't get anything, but mom got a new little pan for cooking. :)
On the way home we stopped by the regular grocery store to get milk since we were almost out and I really like my milk. lol Also got a few other items and I decided to get some fat free-no sugar added ice cream to give it a shot. It's not real good, but after you have a few bites it's okay and it's a lot better to have 0% sat. fat than the last ice cream I had a while ago which caused me to gain like five pounds because there were four servings in it and each serving had like 56% sat. fat. Yeah, bad. So, this is the better option even though it doesn't taste quite so great. Oh well.
Sunday afternoon I went down to work and watched Cellular. It was okay. Not the best movie ever, of course, but still entertaining and whatnot. I would not have paid to go see it though. lol Good thing I get free movies working at a theatre. ;) Speaking of movies, I'm hoping to go see Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow on Friday afternoon. :) I think it looks really cool.
Yesterday I worked at the office answering the phones and whatnot. I also installed some software. Exciting, I know. ;) lol The day went by quite quickly though so that was nice and again, it is good money just to answer phones and do a few other little things and if I want to go to school another quarter, I've really got to start saving up. I think with the next paycheck I get at least I'll have enough in my savings account to pay for the next round of car insurance and then I just have to save up a thousand more dollars for another quarter of school. It's far too expensive. The good news on that though is that that thousand dollars would most likely include my book costs in it, at least that's not just the tuition. Blarg. Anyway, gonna jet. Good night.

What do you know about POVE?! Hehehe. I'm watching Whose Line and they just played the game where they have to replace the letter L with the letter P in everything they say. So funny. lol I would keep saying words with the L instead of P though and then only realize it when it was too late. *shakes head* Fun to watch them do it though. ;) And before watching this, mom and I watched the last half of Deep Blue Sea.
Work was funny today. We'll just skip the normal stuff and go straight to the new nicknames the boys have deemed mine. lol *rolls eyes* The first one was thought up by Brian J. I forget how he came up with it, but Mahamed Holly just flew out of his mouth. lol You know, 'cause Holly ryhmes with Ali. *shakes head* lol Then Wes picked up on it and started calling me that too because they thought it was brilliant and hilarious. I'm not too thrilled. lol So anyway, Bryan N. comes in for the second show and they tell him about it and said that I didn't seem to like it too much though. So, they decided to try and come up with more possibilites. I forget most of them. lol But the last one was thought up by Bryan N.... the Holly Llama. Yeah. lol At least they keep me healthy with laughter while I'm working, right? ;) Nah, they're good boys... mostly. lol
In other news, mom and I looked over the amount of money spent for my college this quarter. It was coming out of a small fund that my mom had started saving for me many years ago. There was more in it before, but stuff got taken out a few years back to get me a car, etc. Anyway, there's some left over so I asked my mom if I could use it to buy a new desk that I could actually use to write on! lol She said I could so I ordered it from Staples.com after I got home from work. I could post the link to it so you can all see, but why do that when I can take a picture after I get it setup all nice, eh? lol Then you all could see my movie posters I put up on my wall too. :) Anyway, I'm off now. Nighty night!

Good morning all. Surprised I'm up so early, huh? lol I would have liked to still be at home and asleep right now since I didn't really get much sleep last night, but alas, must work and get money for car insurance/school funds. *sigh* But this is a very easy way to earn money so I can't complain. You know, get to play games, surf the internet, read my book, etc. all day long and every once in a while I sign for a package or answer the phone. Though, no one's called at all yet today. lol I'm sure someone will though. Usually I get at least a few and it's early yet. ;) So far I've played Zuma online(got to the end of the web-based game. Wow.), checked some e-mails, and now I'm blogging and chatting with Mette whom I've not talked to for a while. :)
Over the past few days not too much has been going on. You know, go to work in the evenings some times(we're not doing early shows anymore since school's starting for everyone) and then spend the rest of the day at home doing stuff. Or NOT doing stuff. lol I have been doing a few semi-productive things though. I've made some more card decks for Portal, my upcoming Stargate TCG, and I've also been re-formatting the code for all the older blog archives to go up here. I'm not even halfway done though so it's still going to be a little bit before those are ready to go up. lol Gonna make a nice little mini layout for them too. ;)
We're opening Cellular today at the theatre. I work the evening show so when I'm done here I get to go home and eat and then I get to leave for the other work. lol I'd like to say I don't think it'll be busy at all tonight, but it's probably not the case. The movie looks like it could be okay, entertaining at least, but the thing is that since school just started for K-12 this week, we're probably going to get a ton of middle schoolers tonight wanting to escape their first week back. Or at least, that's what the boss thinks so there's quite a few people on the schedule for tonight, which is good because if it does get pretty busy(though I'm sure we won't sell out), then we don't all have to freak out about getting all the customers through the consessions line in time for the movie to start. And now, there's really not much else for me to write about so I shall depart. Ta!

Yesterday I went out and bought a fun new toy from CompUSA. What toy was that, you ask? This one. :) The Dazzle* DVC 90 which allows me to caputre audio and video from any source that has video and audio out capabilities. :D Fun fun! So, last night when I got home I got started on capturing all the segments of the Backstreet Boys talking and acting silly during their top 40 favorite music videos countdown that was on MTV a few years back. It took a while. lol Mostly because of having to fastforward past all the videos and whatnot. lol And then I put all the clips together using the software that came with it and created a VCD complete with a menu and everything. Granted, the menu looks like crap and the skip function doesn't work how it's supposed to, but hey, what can you expect for my first try? lol And, unfortunately, the quality is not the best and everything looks slightly pixelated when you watch the VCD on the TV, but for only having spent $50 on it, I can't really complain, right? It makes good file captures though. :) I'm thinking about puting a small part of it up for download. It's the part where Brian's talking about how he used to make hush puppies and Nick "drives thru" to order some. lol I think it's funny. ;) But so yeah, I was up till 4 AM playing with that and rendering for the VCDs. I made two copies of it before getting the files off my laptop since they take up a LOT of space. lol I was finished a but before that, but then I got caught up watching a movie on TV, ya know. ;)
Needless to say since I was up so late last night, I slept for quite some time today as well. lol Until like 3 PM I think it was when my mom came in and woke me up. I probably would have slept longer too even though I got like 10-11 hours of sleep! lol After I'd eaten and everything I came online for a bit before work to check e-mails and whatnot and I got an approval to make a fanlisting that I applied for so long ago that I'd pretty much forgotten all about it. lmao It's for the BSB song "If You Knew What I Knew" and I must have applied for months and months ago! Yipes. Guess I'll make it though since they finally approved me for it. ;) lol
There hasn't really been anything else interesting going on lately. I did talk to Ran last night though. Haven't talked to her for quite a while so that was nice. :) She's taking classes this quarter too, but they're all online since she's got a full-time job. She'll be busy, for sure. I'm taking my first online class this quarter and mostly all I've heard about them is that you have to do twice the amount of writing as a normal class. That'll be interesting for me since the class I'm taking online is a writing one. lol
Oh yeah, and I can tell you all that I never called back Pizza Hut. I don't know what I was thinking with that. lol I do not want to work in fast food again even though I tried to tell myself it wouldn't really be that bad. lol Did that before, turned out not so good. ;) Anyway, so I've decided not to get a second job for now. I think I might try to do some more web design jobs instead, even though I'm not big on them. The last one I did wasn't as bad of an experiance as those before though so I'm looking up on them right now. lol I've got one lined up that I'll start toward the end of this month and I guess the guy I did the last one for is getting lots of positive comments on it so that makes me feel kinda nice. :) It's not the best, but it was all right looking and definately an improvement from the previous one. lol ;) Well, I'll be off now. Not sure what I'll do, but I'll figure out something... eventually. Heh.

I finished First Rider's Call earlier this evening. Man, such a bummer at the end!!! I totally want to know what happens next, but who know's when the third installment will be finished! lol And now I must say something about the end of the book so for those of you who will take my reccomendation and read it and the first one, skip from now to the next paragraph. lol See, at the end King Zachary accepts a marraige propossal for political ties, but he loves Karigan, a Green Rider messanger in his service and the main character of the books. And she loves him and when she finds out it breaks her heart and then she gets a lovely gift from Zachary and he tells her how he feels about her and then she gets angry and, you know, his feelings get hurt too! *siffles* Man, darling King Zachary, you cannot marry Lady Estora!! Okay... I just had to get that out... so sad and I must know if he ends up not going through with the wedding and goes after Karigan. Estora was in love with a Rider, but he died and she doesn't love Zachary either, but her father is forcing her into the marriage for an alliance. Ugh!
Humm... what else? I applied for another job. Yup. Pizza Hut. lol Did that on... Tuesday I think it was. I got a garbled message from them today on the answering machine. You can hardly tell what the guy is saying! lol I had to listen to it two or three times before I could catch the words "Pizza Hut" near the beginning. lol I guess I'll call the number tomorrow and see about setting up an interview with them. Not sure if I'll take the job or now, we'll see. Depends on scheduling, what they'd have me do, etc., etc. Well, it's late and I'm off. G'night!
