To make up for the lack of movies I've gone to see in the theatre lately I went and saw two today! lol Around noon my mom and I saw Surviving Christmas. It was pretty funny, but, of course, got a bit raunchy. Still pretty funny though and I think it's my favorite roll of Ben Affleck's that I've seen. So I liked it, but unless you think it looks really good, just rent it. ;) The second movie that I saw though, however, you'll all have to go see it as soon as it comes out! lol It's a movie that I've been looking forward too since I first saw the trailer a while back and it doesn't actually come out until November 12th, but when I was looking up the times for Surviving Christmas this morning I saw they were having a sneak preview of it tonight! Of course, I was scheduled to work during the time it was going to be playing. lol So, after some deliberation, I finally decided to see if someone would cover for me so that I could go and see(ta da) Finding Neverland!!! :D

Finding Neverland is an absolutely wonderful movie! Very enchanting, beautifully made and acted, also very well written. Oh, man, it was awesome! lol I'm probably going to end up going to see it again when it officially comes out 'cause it was so good! And there's no raunchy stuff in it either! lol I think there was a little light swearing at the beginning, but that was pretty much it as far as I can remember. And, of course, Johnny Depp was wonderful as author J.M. Barrie. Ugh, I just can't explain, it was awesome and I cried! lol Ran really liked it too and she hardly really knew what it was about! lol I called her up last minute thinking she was going to be busy as usual, but she said she'd go so I went and picked her up and we had lots of fun chatting and listening to 80's and 90's music on the way there.

After the movie we stopped at McDonald's and both got fries and ice cream. What a combo. lol Pretty tasty though and it'd been a while since I had their fries and they were pretty good. lol ;) I mostly got the fries just for the game pieces though. lol Ran got one too and we each got $1 Best Buy dollar(everyone gets at least that), but I just ended up throwing them away. lol Was hoping for more, but you know, it wasn't likely so oh well. Anyway, then we came back to my house 'cause it's been so long since I've seen Ran that she hadn't even seen our new house yet! lol So I gave her the tour and I found out that she likes Stargate SG-1 too! Yay for more SG-1 fans! Then she stayed and watched the episode "1969" with me because that episode is just the bomb and she hadn't seen it yet. So I had a very nice evening getting to hang and chat with Ran. :)

Humm... well, not too much in the mood to type much more now since it's getting pretty late, but I will add a few other things. The plays yesterday were pretty good, Tammy's one won the little contest and got to go on to the final that was tonight. Hopefully she'll call me tomorrow and let me know how that went this evening. They also did some theatre sports improv while we were waiting for the results from the judges and that was pretty darn funny. lol There's this kid named James who's British and he's absolutely hilarious and a very good actor. I saw him in a few other things that Tammy was involved in last year and he went to homecoming with Tammy's little sister. He could very well be famous some day along with this other boy named Brandon who I used to go to school with. Surprisingly, there are actually a lot of talented actors that I've seen from my old high school. lol Anyway, that's all for now, goodnight!

I'm home early today so I'm watching Family Matters on TV right now. It's a Halloween episode, of course, and Steve made a dummy that looks like him and had a dream that lightning struck it and made it alive. Then it decided it was going to go after the family and Steve said it was evil and the pupped was all like, "ooh, I like that... Stevil!" lmao Quite humorous. ;) lol And speaking of Halloween shows and whatnot, I forgot to write that I watched The Hallow on Sunday night. I thought it was pretty sad. The acting was okay I guess, but the story was lame in my opinion. I don't think horror movies have any point to them and it wasn't even scary. So yeah, didn't like it.

This morning I took my first archeology test and I think I did fairly well on it. At least I'm hoping for a B anyway. There was one question I didn't really know at all what the answer was. lol So, I guessed and it may have been half right or something if I'm lucky. lol ;) Then I was only in oceanography for about ten minutes because I did almost all of my lab last night. I don't think my teacher was happy about that either. Oops. lol

Oh man, there's another episode of Family Matters on now and it's the return of Stevil! lmao *shakes head* Anyway, I don't really have anything else to write about so I'm gonna jet now. TTFN!

So, I sent in my voters registration in like August or whatever and I hadn't gotten any confirmation so we figured I wasn't going to be able to vote in the election on Tuesday. Then today my mom comes in with the mail and low and behold, I got my confirmation card and get to vote on Tuesday! lol So now I have to read up on all the candidates and decide who to vote for. I didn't think that would be too hard 'cause I thought this particular election was just for the president and whatnot, it's not, it's for that and all the state stuff like govenor and senator, etc. lol So, there's this rather large booklet I get to read through before Tuesday so I can make at least a semi-informed decision. ;) lol I've already looked through part of it and decided who I'm voting for for President and a few other things so it shouldn't be a problem for me to have enough time to read through the rest of it in time. That was sort of a nice surprise though. :)

lunar eclipseThen, when my dad got home he's all like, there's a lunar eclipse tonight and we've gotta leave now to drive up into the mountains where we can see it! lol So, daddy grabbed the telescope and I grabbed my digital camera and we all hopped into the car and drove. It took us a while to catch sight of the moon, but then we found this really good spot on a side road with no lights and a great view to watch the eclipse. And, while my digital camera didn't do the best job(I didn't think it would anyway), I got some fairly cool pictures which you can see by clicking on the thumbnail in this paragraph. :) It was very cool to watch. God is totally awesome with these things! :D

Saturday at work, oh, it was so bad. lol The first show TWO kids threw up in the theatre! And from different families too. *shakes head* Then I made Brian K. and Matt clean it up. lol It was kinda mean, but ew, I didn't want to do it! lol I'll just have to find some way to make it up to them and bring them cookies or something at some point, you know. ;) I also wrote my movie treatment while I was at work that day. Egh, I'm not totally thrilled with it, but it's because I was limited to 3 pages double spaced and I couldn't add the extra tidbits I wanted too so it sort of made my movie sound cliche almost which is not what it is or what I was going for. lol Oh well, hopefully it'll be okay, but who knows when I'll ever find out because I still haven't gotten my grade from my outline which I turned in over two weeks ago! How long does it take him to grade this stuff, sheesh? Whatever.

Yesterday was my last day of songwriting class. *sniff* lol It was good though. Learned how to pitch a song to someone(sort of), etc. so that was good and important. Only problem though is that you can't send someone just lyrics which means I'd have to find someone who'd be willing to write basic chords for any songs I write or I'd have to hire someone to do it. Egh. lol So, we'll see. But, apparently, everyone really liked the song I brought in(well, my lyrics anyway). My teacher asked me to sing it, but I couldn't. I did try though, but my voice sounded like crap and went into a sing-song chant thing really quick and it just wasn't working 'cause I was nervous and all so I just read it. lol There were a few suggestions on things I might want to change and I think I'll do some modifying. Then we'll see where I go from there. Hehe. ;)

Okay, I guess this is it for now. It's getting a bit late and I should try and get to bed pretty soon here. Friday promises to be eventfull for me as I have my first archeology test that morning and an oceanography lab. After that I'm going to watch Tammy's directorial debut at the high school. She directed once scene of a play and some others did the same thing so I might watch their's as well if it doesn't take too long. And in the evening, our church is doing this craft get-together so mom and I are going to go to that. Should be fun. :) Anyway, off I go, perhaps I'll have some time to make a new layout for this site and get some of the content up one of these days soon. ;) lol

Okay, I'm taking a break from the typing of my movie treatment right now so I figured the logical thing to do would be to blog about it. ;) lol I'd keep going with it right now except that the assignment instructions say to write 2-3 pages and so far I've written(*checks*) two and a bit and I'm not even done with my third action point! Let me explain. First I wrote a rough outline which details the major action points of my story, the parts that keep the ball rolling, and that has 13 action points. lol So yes, if you do the math, at my current rate, I will end up with a fair deal more than 3 pages. lol Of course, they're double spaced for the assignment so I e-mailed my professor to ask if I can write 4-6 pages since they have to be double-spaced. I mean, how does one expect me to write an engaging narrative of my whole movie in only three double-spaced pages at 12 point font? Seriously? lol

I'm really starting to get into the concept for my movie though and I think I'm actually going to end up sending in my treatment to a motion picture studio and see what they think of it. :) All in accordance with God's plan though so who knows how it will go, but, if it's okay with God, it'd be kind of cool if they commissioned me to write the script and put it into production. :D lol We'll see. ;) So Sam, this now means you are sworn to secrecy as my beta-reader and you can't be giving people any sort of spoilers or hints. ;) Of course, I know you wouldn't anyway. *hugs*

Moving on... I got my oceanography test back yesterday and got a 94%. :) Yay! My first archeology test is coming up a week from today as well which means I need to finish reading the assigned chapters in the book before then. ;) lol Shouldn't be a problem though as I've already read some of them and I've still got more than enough time for the rest. Humm... well, I guess this will be all for now as Kate & Leopold is starting on TV and I'm going to go watch it while I wait for a reply from my prof. ;) lol TTFN!

I'm rather tired and it's past my bed time, but I felt like blogging today so here I am. ;) lol Hopefully I'll remember most everything I've been wanting to write about, but I usually don't seem to. Heh. Anyway, you know what I learned in oceanography today? In 1 cubic mile of seawater, there can be up to 25 TONS of gold!!! Yeah, gold. lol Isn't that interesting? Seawater molecules are mostly composed of just plain water, but it also contains at least a small trace of every naturally occuring element on Earth. Dude. And here I thought this part of the class would be boring, I was way off! lol I also learned that the water molecule(made up of two hydrogen and one oxegen) bears a remarkable resemblance to Mickey Mouse's head! lol And to polish off this paragraph, I had my first oceanography test yesterday and I think I did pretty well on it. :) I should find out for sure tomorrow or Friday and I'll let you all know.

And speaking of grades, I finally found out the grade for my first scriptwriting assignment! It was for my log line and main character bio and I got a 95 out of 100!! :D The two things I got docked down for were minor, and one of them hadn't even been gone over in any of our readings for the class, so how was I supposed to know?! lol I am very happy with the grade though. :D Oh, and my teacher also sent me back a copy of my document with his comments and he wrote, "Holly, I like the premise of the story and your character very much. In addition the bio and log line are well written." Yay! lol And now I just hope that he liked the outline I turned in too. ;)

I spent the weekend on vacation with my mommy! Monday was a no-school day for me so I had a three-day weekend and mom thought we should go on a mini-roadtrip. :) Friday afternoon we drove down to Portland, Oregon and had a relaxing evening at our hotel just south of the city. In the morning we went back up to Portland and went by a mall where I bought some beanie babies(two for me and one for Sam). Then we stopped by the Saturday market they have there for a bit before heading off to the Pittock Mansion. That place was pretty cool! There are some pictures on their website, you should definately check out the awesome staircase picture in the history section on the site. Oh, and they had an elevator in their house and we got to go in it and I got to push the button! Woo! lol Very cool elevator. ;)

After the mansion and a picnic lunch, mom and I headed for the coast and Tillamook. You know, like the cheese and awesome ice cream! lol Before we got to the factory to check it out though, we stopped at this other cheese place that was in the brochure on stuff to do in Oregon and we tried some Bree(a kind of cheese). YUCK! lol That stuff was nasty! lol Good think the Tillamook factory was just down the road and I got to wash down the nasty stuff with some tasty cheddar. ;) Then we looked at the gift shop stuff and got some ice cream. The guy working the register for the ice cream had really pretty eyes. What? It's true! lol

From there we headed up to Seaside which is where the next hotel we were staying at was. The whole way there, and in that city, there are tsunami warning signs. lol Which, you know, is valid because a tsunami wave could hit the coast at any time, but it's just not something you normally see so it's kind of funny. lol When we ate at a restaraunt later that evening, they had an evacuation map so I looked at that. ;) Anyway, the hotel we stayed at was pretty nice and they had a heated indoor pool. I only stuck my feet in that though and my mom and I sat in the spa most of the time. It was a bummer though because it really wasn't that hot. :( They also had a sauna and a sweat room, I think it was called, can't remember. The sauna wasn't warm though either because the door didn't close all the way and all the head leaked out and then the other thing felt nice and warm, but the air was filled with water condensation and it's hard to breathe that(it doesn't feel right going in), not to mention that it smelled nasty of man-sweat. lol We had a nice night there though. :)

In the morning we ate breakfast at this cute pancake house and walked around to the little shops, etc. We also went to an outlet mall and I got a three-book collection of Christian scifi books from a Christian outlet store there. The books sound pretty cool and I read the first page and it was well written so I went for it. Hopefully I'll get to reading that in a month or two. lol Probably not sooner since I'm STILL reading the 4th HP book and I've got all my books for school to read... bleck. lol

We drove up the coast and back up into Washington after that without many stops and stayed in a little city near Mt. St. Helens for the last night. We went and saw Raise Your Voice at a theatre there. I cried a lot in that movie. I really wasn't expecting that out of it either. It was okay, you know, not my favorite movie ever, but good for what it was, a rental I'd say. But moving on, we finally decided to eat at a Subway for dinner that night. I swear, there was a Subway sign for EVERY exit off the freeway! They were everywhere! There were more Subway's than McDonald's! Woah. lol Oh, and we also discovered that there ARE Carls Jr.'s in Washington! They're all just in the southern part. lol And they have them in Oregon too. I'll have to remember to tell my cousins, they'll be just as shocked as my mom and I were! ;) lol

In the morning we drove over to Mt. St. Helens. The closest visitor center on the north side of the volcano was closed, so we went to the second-closest. For those of you that might not know, it's been active lately and has "burped" a few times and they think it's setting up for a bigger event too. Awesome, eh? lol Anyway, I was kinda hoping it'd "burp" for us and I could take a picture, but it was cloudy and rainy so we could only see a small portion of the base. Good thing I've seen it a few times before(mostly from the air, but also once from the ground). We sat through a talk from one of the rangers at the visitor's center while we were there though and that was really interesting. I did take a couple pictures of the mountain, but I'm pretty sure they stink. lol I also took some pics of a nice waterfall on the road to and from the mountain though so I might post those later if I remember. :)

We made one more stop(besides dinner) on the way home at a Wal*Mart Supercenter! I'd never been to one of those! lol It was pretty cool, but the plain old Wal*Mart's good enough for me I think. ;) It was nice to be home and relax though. lol We got back around seven at night or something like that and brough everything in the house and chilled for a bit. Driving takes a lot out of you. lol Oh, it was so nice to be back in my own bed and I missed the kitties. Poor kitties were locked in the house the whole time. Of course, we left them plenty of food and water, but they don't like it when they can't go outside regularly. And dang, I cleaned the litter box and that was the MOST stuff in there EVER! lol It was crazy.

Yesterday before songwriting class, I went to Best Buy and bought Stargate SG-1 season 7 on DVD! YAY! lol They scared me at first though because I walked back to where they should have been and there were none there. lol So, I stopped the first cute Best Buy guy(they're like, almost all cute, it's like Red Robin, lol) and asked if they had any more. He looked it up on the computer and it turns out they had a bunch, but there were just no more out in front. lol So, I got to wait while he went and got one for me and that was about 10 minutes standing in an asle with nothing else I was interested looking at in it. But then he brought it to me and I was just happy that I got it and they still had copies so I hadn't gone all that way for nothing. lol When I went and paid, the guy at the next register was all enthusiastic that I was buying it. lol I thought that was kind of funny. ;)

Woo. This entry turned out to be a lot longer than I was thinking it would. Guess I remembered most everything, I think. Or, at least, the big things anyway. And I wasn't real tired while typing all of this because I was getting into it, but now I'm starting to feel tired again and if I don't go to sleep in 15 minutes, I'm going to be very unhappy in the morning. lol Nighty night!

Thursday, October 14, 2004

Hello. I'm at school right now. I figured, heck, I got a good portion of my work done and I'm bored, I'll walk over to the open computer lab and blog since I've been bad and haven't blogged for a while. So, here I am, surrounded by other people all probably doing their homework. lol I'm pretty sure I probably shouldn't be taking up a computer to blog on, but I'm sick of doing my homework and I'd really rather do my homework on my own computer. I thought last night and this morning about bringing my laptop with me, but I talked myself out of it because it would be more weight to carry. I think I'll just elect to carry more and bring my laptop for something to do next time. lol :)

Lots of stuff has been going on, but I really should write for as long as it would take me to type that all up while I'm here. lol Plus, it's really not too long before I have to go meet Wes and then I can go home, yay! lol Did I mention Wes and I are carpooling now? I bet that I did, but if not, now I have. lol It stinks though because we still end up parking pretty far away all the time and have to trek up a not-so-lovely hill each day to get back to the car. :( My legs and my heart are not happy about that. ;) lmao I guess that ought to signal that I really should workout more, right? I've been working out... some. Heh. Doubtful that it's been enough though. I need to ease myself back into it all. Man, I want to play a sport, but once you get out of high school there's not really anything you can join around here unless you're really competative or your job has a team and just needs people to play on it. lol We'll see though, maybe, if I actually look, I'll find something of interest.

Well, before I came here and after I got out of my last class today, I was working on my outline for my movie in scriptwriting class. It's due on Sunday, but I've got to get it done by tonight and turned in since I'll be busy all weekend and won't get the chance to work on it at all then. I was working on it some yesterday and it wasn't going well and then when I had decided to take a break from it, I was looking over my syllabus for the class just to see what each of the assignments were worth and I read some other stuff and low and behold, I was making the outline harder for myself than it needed to be! Figures. I think I end up doing that quite a bit. ;) Oh well. But so now when I was working on it today at least, I did it the way I'm supposed to and it was a lot easier than how I'd started out with it yesterday. lmao So, I've got it basically figured out and I figure I'll get it polished when I get home and start typing it up. I'll probably decide to add some things, change some, and delete some while I'm typing it up as well. And, of course, I'll probably annoy the heck out of Sam by having her read over it all and tell me what she thinks and if anything doesn't make sense if she happens to be online at all today. ;) lol Hopefully she doesn't mind too much though. ;)

Speak of me, Sam and writing(lol), Sam and I are going to start an online writing community! :) When will it be open you ask? Whenever I get around do doing it. lol Need to install a forum for it and make it look semi-pretty and then Sam and I will need to work out all the forums we'd like to start with, etc. I've got a few ideas on that and I know Sam has some too. I'll be nice and share that we're for sure going to have different types of writing challenges and I'm hoping to have "classes" of a sort on different things. There shall also be a reccommendations forum for books that you should read, websites that offer tips, etc., etc. Hopefully a fair amount of writers will join and we'll all get some good feedback on our writing and polish ourselves some while we're at it. :) Oh, and just to mention, it's going to be all for original writing, no fanfics or things like that. Sorry to those of you that might have been hoping for that. lol But so yeah, if you have any suggestions, drop Sam or me a line and let us know what you think of this idea. :)

All right, I've still got a bit before I'm supposed to meet up with Wes, but I should probably free up this computer as I think this entry is plenty long enough for now. I might attempt to be good and blog more later tonight, depends on how my outline ends up going and whatnot. I'm hoping, and praying, that that won't take me too long, but you never know. I'm also hoping I won't put it off until 8 PM tonight! lmao TTFN!

Ahh the joys, or lack thereof, of scriptwriting. lol *shakes head* What have I gotten myself into this quarter?! My advice to all of you and to myself if I ever consider doing something like this again is to never take an online writing class with a full load of courses! lol So, as an overview to you all, I'm taking an archeology class and an oceanography class at campus. I am also taking an online course in scriptwriting for TV, film and multimedia. I must never do this again. I thought I knew that there would be a lot of work involved in taking an online class, but I didn't think it could be THAT bad. lol I was wrong. I mean, it's probably not as bad as some classes that other people take, but my creative process is being slow, as usual, and that's not going to help when my first assignment is due by Sunday afternoon. lol Moving on...

I keep meaning to post, but find myself not turning on my computer very often and when I do it's mostly just to check the e-mail real quick and go do stuff in my online classroom. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and stressed last night and of course that's when some other issues decided to come up as well making me rather depressed. I really dislike that. I'm good now though. Good thing those deals only last for one day most of the time. ;)

Monday was pretty standard. School, work at the office, work at the theare, come home do some homework, watch a little SG-1. lol I've decided that Monday work at the office is the perfect time to do my oceanography assignments for each week. Each week we have to read a couple chapters in the book(which really isn't too bad as far as textbooks go) and then answer a few questions at the end of each chapter. So far my time at the office has been just right for doing that each week, though that may not always be the case depending on if my duties end up going beyond installing software and answering the phone. lol

Tuesday was my mommy's birthday. :) Happy be-lated b-day Mommy!! That being so, in the morning before I left for school I gave mom some new paint brushes which is what she said she'd like when I asked what I should get her. Of course, first she said I didn't have to get her anything, but I wanted to so too bad for her! ;) lmao After I got back from school mom and I went out for lunch at her favorite Mexican restaurant and I paid as the second part of her present. :) We had a very nice time.

In the evening that same day I went back to school for my first songwriting class. That was SO nice! I had lots of fun and am looking forward to this coming Tuesday when I get to go again! lol I want to write lots about this, but I think I'll save that for another entry as this one may end up being long without it. lol ;) I was kinda nervous at first though because I was the first one there and then by the time we started there was only one other student there. lol Apparently only 4 people enrolled in the class! I was really surprised. After 10-15 minutes a third person showed up, but the fourth never did so we'll see if they come next week or not. I learned a lot though. My teacher has of course been a songwriter for many years so she had a lot of interesting and informative things to say. We also had lots of fun re-writing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" which is what I'll try and remember to post more about at a later date. ;)

Yesterday morning I got up a bit earlier than normal and went to meet Wes as we'd decided to carpool Wed. through Fri. on Monday. Does that make sense? lol Anyway, he didn't show up at the time I thought we were supposed to meet and I waited an extra 15 minutes and he still wasn't there so I just headed off to school. Come to find out, he thought we were meeting 15 minutes later than I did and he probably got there shortly after I left. lol So that didn't work out yesterday, but it did this morning.

I got there early again, but I didn't have to wait too long and it was just like, yay, it worked this time! lol Wes volunteered to drive and we chatted on the way to and from school though I can't really remember what about. I think I was a bit pre-occupied with my own thoughts which probably wasn't really very nice. Oops. Wes doesn't get out of his last class until two hours after I get out of on Thursdays so I went and checked out Capus Crusade for Christ my first hour(I didn't really enjoy it too much, but I tried like my mom wanted, so it's not too bad) and then for my second hour I read from one of my archeology books.

After Wes dropped me off at my car I drove over to Safeway and bought Aladdin on DVD. I also went by the sandwich place and got myself some lunch while I was over there. :) It was so nice to just sit and eat and watch Aladdin when I got home though. I think it was a bit of a needed respite from homework and studying and whatnot. lol Of course, after I finished watching that, it didn't take too long for me to start back on the homework track. *shakes head* lol

Blarg. I just realized I still need to take a shower tonight and it's getting late so I'd best be off to do that. At least I remembered to do my laundry earlier though. It would not have been good to forget that until now. Hehehe. I had something else that I wanted to post about, but I can't remember what it was now. Oh well, g'night!

Edit: *looks at tagboard and remembers* lol Oh yeah. ;) Sam, if you really wanted to take the scriptwriting class from my school I'm pretty sure that you could, but it would cost at least double of what it costs me(which in my thinking is already a good chunk of change) since you'd have to pay the "out of state" tuition. If you really wanted to take it in a few years though then I could give you the website URL and you could go and look into it and maybe e-mail and ask someone about that. Or, you know, I could just impart my knowledge gained from the class to you for free. ;) lmao

I've had a pretty good weekend. :) I feel much better now than I did on Wednesday. I actually felt much better Thursday so that was good. ;) Let's see... Thursday afternoon I had my appointment with an advisor to see about what I need for getting an AA degree. That was interesting. First off, I almost didn't get to talk to anyone because my appointment wasn't in the computer like it should have been, but since I had a little card saying I had an appointment, the managed to get me in earlier 'cause someone else missed their appointment. At first the lady didn't realize I'd already completed a lot of credits. Then when she did she told me I just need a math class and English 101 to finish my A.A.G.S. degree. But then she had to go and say that I'd only need 15 more credits on top of that to get a transfer degree instead. She said that normally people who go for the general studies degree can't manage to do well in college level English and Math and since I placed into college level English when I was 16 and almost placed into college level math I should try for the transfer degree. So now I have to think about that and figure out what I'm going to do. Arg.

Friday we opened Shark Tale at the theatre. The first show wasn't real big, but then we sold out the second one, which we were pretty much expecting. Saturday was about the same except there were two early shows and both had good turn-outs, but didn't sell out while the last one did. I spent most of my time between shows reading one of my books for scriptwriting. Didn't really do anything else.

Today I went to church in the morning, of course. Heidi was there so I got to say hey and chat with her for a bit. I need to remember to e-mail her soon. Anyway, after church mom, dad and I left right away to head to NW Trek. It was really cool and lots of fun! :) We saw all the animals that you can see on the tram tour through the free roam area. And then we saw the other animals in their little areas. If you go to the site, you can find out about the types of animals that they have there. It was pretty darn cool. All except for the part with the skunks. lmao Man, they smell SO BAD! lol Egh. I would not be surprised if somehow some of their stench got stuck to my clothes, but I'm really hoping that it didn't. lol

On our way home we stopped for gas and I got an ICEE and it was good. :) I really like ICEEs. :D They had lots of good flavors too so I got my two favorites, cherry and blue raspberry. *licks lips* After that was done we headed over to Wal*Mart where I considered buying a watch, but didn't. I also tried on some clothes that looked cute on the racks, but of course, did not look so on me. Rawr. And then I went over to the entertainment section and decided to buy Hilary Duff's new self-titled CD because I haven't gotten any new music in quite some time. I wasn't sure at first since I hadn't heard anything from it and their sampler things weren't working, but then I figured, okay, it's on sale for only $10, even if I absolutely hate it, that's not too terrible. I'm sure I'll like some songs on it. I'm checking it out some right now and there's some stuff that sounds good. Maybe I'll stick it in my car tomorrow or something and listen to it some more. Anyway, guess I'll be off now. Nighty night!

Edit: Holy cow, DUH! How could I forget... HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEVIN!!! :)
