Well now, I don't know what prompted me to do this, but I went to Google and typed in "iq test" and hit search. I ended up with IQTest.com as the top result and decided to take the free IQ test. Kinda sucks though 'cause you have to have them e-mail the results to you so I'm sure I'll get spam at that addy now, but hey, that's what I have that addy for, just this sort of thing. ;) lol But yes, the interesting part is my score. I got the e-mail right away and it said my score was 150. I was like, great, but what does that mean? 150 out of what? lol So I scroll down and what do I find, but a table of numbers with a description of your smarts. So what does 150 mean? Well, according to them, it is the following:

145 - 160 = Extraordinary genius (Less than 1% of test takers)

Well now. lmao Supposedly, on their front page, they say that their test is extremely accurate, but I don't know about that. Anyway, if any of you have some time and you're bored and wanna take the test, let me know what you get so we can compare and decide if we think their test is accurate or not. ;) lol

What else? Yesterday I went to church in the morning and did video again since it was my regular Sunday. Then I came home for a while before going to work. People came really late to the second movie last night. It's not fun when that happens because a huge rush of people sweeps into the theatre and it's SCARY! ;) lol Then I came home. Today wasn't totally different. Got up and watched a movie with mom and some TV too. Was good and worked a bit on my upcoming Stargate TCG. Then I went to work and people came late... AGAIN! Rawr. When I got home I tried to call my cousin Steven, but I just got the machine. Anyway, off I go. G'night!

Merry Christmas! Hope you all had lovely days, I did. :) I didn't actually sleep very well last night, but oh well. lol I got up and outta bed around 9 this morning when my mom came in to say "Merry Christmas" and that her and my dad would be back in a couple hours. Yeah, they left in the morning. Why? Because my poor daddy is on call this weekend which means if someone calls, he's gotta work. Blarg. Anyway, while I was waiting for them to get back I watched A Boyfriend For Christmas. Figured that was a fitting movie to watch this morning, right? ;) My grandma and grandpa called during that time too so I talked to them for a while and then Tammy called as well and I talked to her for a bit.

When my parents got home we opened up the stockings first and I got a little Wish Bear stuffed animal that says stuff when you press it's tummy like, "You're my wish come true." *giggles* Isn't that cute? I thought so. ;) lol Then I got some pens, candy and a few other things in my stocking as well. Then I opened presents and got another Barnes and Noble gift card, a little bit of money, a visor clip for in my car, and I got North and South on DVD. :) Yay! lol I watched four hours of that before I got online to blog tonight. And how many more hours do I have left to watch? A WHOLE LOT. lol That four hours was only the first side of the first DVD and there are five more DVDs. Yipes. lol And it's wierd because they've added scenes that weren't in the original telecasts and well, most of them suck. lol Oh well, I guess.

Before watching that and just after opening presents we made breakfast and then called some of the cousins. My cousin Keith sounds so different over the phone now! lol He sounds just like his older brother Steven and it threw me off for a few minutes at first. Then I chatted with some of the other cousins. Two of them had to go to work today. Bummer. My cousin Mike is on break from the Fire Academy right now, he says he likes it and it should get more interesting when he goes back. Then I talked to my cousin Don for, actually, quite a while. lol That was nice. Next time I go to visit I've got to make sure to go check out his new place, it's supposed to be really nice and it's pretty close to the beach. After that we watched Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement since I got that for mommy for Christmas. :)

Part way though that we left to head to the theatre to go see The Aviator, but then when we got there it was already sold out. Bummer. I had a bit of a feeling that that might happen though so I was prepared and it's not like I've got to see that movie or something. ;) We'll probably try to go see it again though. On the way home we got some ice cream treats from the convience store and came home and finished watching Princess Diaries 2.

After that I called some more cousins and chatted with them for a while. Then I had mom call another of the uncles and I was going to talk to more of my cousins after she finished talking to him, but they weren't there. :( *sniffles* So, they might call me in the next few days or I'll just have to try again. Also gotta try and call Steven since he was with his girlfriend's family. I made out pretty good though only missing talking to three out of the eleven cousins. :)

So yes, I had a very good day and a nice time with my family both here and via the phone. ;) Now I really must be good and get myself off to sleep or else I may try and nap during church when I'm supposed to be making sure that the lyrics show up on the screen when they're supposed to. That would not be good. lol So, I shall bid you all goodnight and I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. God bless you. :)

Merry Christmas Eve!!! :) Hope you all are doing well. Today I went to work in the afternoon. We only had one show today so that was nice. :) It was fairly slow too. Then I came home and had some mashed potatoes and they were good and garlic-y. lol Mom made the turkey today too, but I'm not a big fan of turkey unless it's cold and sliced thin as lunch meat. Anyway... after food I finally felt a bit inspired and made a Christmas sign for you all! :)

Merry Christmas!!! :D

It's got holly on it. ;) lol Anyway, hope you all like it. I know it sounds corny and odd, especially where I wrote that everyone should feel happy, but too bad, that's what I wrote! And if you don't like it then, well, be happy anyway! Hehehe. Wow... I know. I didn't put it up till now because by the time I was finished it was time for me to pretty myself up a bit and head to church for candlelight service. I did the video for the first service tonight so we had to be there early. I actually wore my hair down though and put on my clip-on earings that I have. Oooh. lol Service was nice though.

Then we came home and Kenny came over to open his presents and give us ours. He's got to be at work at 6 AM tomorrow morning. Egh. Oh, and since I don't talk about him much, a quick reminder that he's my step-brother. But yeah, he gave me a $15 gift card to Barnes and Noble! :D YAY! And I gave him and my daddy matching fleece scarves that I made. Well, I cut the fringes on the ends anyway because that's all you've really got to do with that fabric, no sewing needed, how nice. :) lol And mommy opened the nice super soft socks that I got her and then I opened a present from mom and dad. They got me a little Grumpy Bear beanie/stuffed animal! :) YAY! And well, that's it for now as *gasp* I'm actually kind of tired right now and want to go to bed! Shocking, I know. Nighty night and I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas or other seasonal holiday. ;)

Ugh, do NOT go see Meet The Fockers. Just don't. It's so wrong on many levels. And you know, I knew it was going to be like that too. But I still went and watched it this afternoon. *shakes head at self* Oy. Anyway, maybe I can save you all from the horror by telling you that it was really bad. Sure, there were some parts that were funny, but mostly it was just so wrong. There was a funny looking preview for a new movie called The Pacifier though. lol

After the movie I got to hang around at the theatre and read for a while so mom could work. That went pretty fast though and it's good for me to read more 'cause I'm getting quite close to finishing my current book which is a good 700 pages at least. It's actually three books in one and I'm on the last book. Anyway, moving on. ;) lol We went to the store before heading home and rented movies while we were there too. The two I picked out were Two Brothers and (Sam will be proud of me for this one) Thunderbirds. ;) lol I watched Thunderbirds when we got home while we were eating dinner. It was good. It was a little lame at times (sorry Sam, but I know you thought that a bit too, lol), but it was kinda fun so I liked it okay. :) I'm excited to watch Two Brothers later. I wanted to see it when it was at the theatres, but no one else was particularly interested in seeing it with me and I just didn't end up going. Hopefully it'll be good. :)

Humm... not too much in other news except that I forgot to tell you all that I bought myself an early Christmas present when I was at Target on Sunday with Tammy. I got a new CD. :) Jesse McCartney's Beautiful Soul album. Pretty good stuff. I heard him on the Disney Channel and I thought he has a pretty nice voice and the two songs they play were pretty good, so it was only nine bucks and I thought, why not! lol I'm likin' it so far though. A few songs aren't that good, but that's the case with most artist's save for a few (*cough*BackstreetBoys*cough*). Am much enjoying the songs "Without U," "Beautiful Soul," "She's No You," "Because You Live," "Good Life," and "That Was Then" though. :) Well, I'm off! Who knows what I'll do, but I'm sure I'll figure out something. ;) lol Ta!

Today mom and I went to Wal*Mart for some shopping time and it was amazing that we got in and out of there in like a half an hour!! WOW. lol Amazering, huh? ;) lmao We had dinner at Pizza Hut too and that was nice as well. :) Then, while we were watching the Monday night marathon of SG-1 episodes, my ankle started to hurt. I don't really know why either. I was just trying to move it around some and then I must of moved it in the wrong direction or something 'cause it's still hurting a bit. Nothing major, but it's like, arg, feel better ankle! lol Oh, but yes, got to open up a bottle of cran-apple cider for celebration this afternoon! What celebration? Well, remember how I'd gotten my Oceanography grade, an A, and was waiting to hear about Scripting and Archeology? Well, I found out both my grades for those classes today and I got all A's! :D Wee! So, that theoretically means I got a 4.0 and will probably get a letter in a few months saying I made the Dean's List or something. So that was nice to hear and I thanked God. :D

Yesterday Tammy came over after I got back from church and we watched a Silly Songs with Larry from a Veggie Tales DVD because Larry and a few of the other vegetables decided it was time to be serious and they formed a boyband and sang a song about how the gourd had no belly button and it was really sad and something he had to tell you. ;) lmao It was pretty funny. I don't think quite so funny as the episode of Kim Possible with the "Oh Boyz," but still pretty funny. Tammy hasn't seen that so I'll have to try and catch it on again and tape it for her or something. Anyway... the reason she came over was to make sugar cookies so we got to doing that pretty quick. That was lots of fun and Tammy brought stuff for her to make frosting(I normally just use sprinkles) for them. It took a while and near the end I was starting to get a bit grumpy 'cause I don't normally do anything with frosting and I was having problems trying to get it onto the cookies! lol Then it got more difficult too because we decided to put everyone's name on a cookie(the cookies were mostly for taking to everyone at my work) and the stuff didn't want to come out and blah, blah, blah. You know, that sort of thing. lol

We went down to the theatre and brought the cookies in to the boys that were working yesterday so they could get started on them. Hope Brian J. didn't eat them all though. ;) lol I told them all they had to save some for everyone else, but who knows if they'll listen to me or not. *shrugs* Oh well. It was funny though because when I opened up the first container(had to use two for all the cookies) Brian J. goes, oh, there's my cookies, it's a STAR! He was about to pick it up when I pointed out that, actually, that wasn't his 'cause that was a K at the bottom, not a J. Then, of course, Brian K. goes, see, I get the star, I'm special! Then I found Brian J.'s for him and well, for all the names we either used the star shape or the bell shape and his was a bell and he's all like, what, I get a BELL? *shakes head* lol I thought the whole thing was pretty funny anyway, but I don't expect it too be too funny to anyone else.

The boys thanked us though and they all grabbed cookies pretty fast so that made me feel good. It's a thing, you cook, you hope people like it. lol And then when they do, it makes you feel happy. :) I think Tammy felt glad too. ;) We then left the theatre just as come customers were starting to show up for the movie to head to another movie. lol

We went and saw Series of Unfortunate Events. I wasn't totally sure what to expect from the movie and I probably wouldn't have seen it if Tammy hadn't been like, "we have to see that!" It was pretty good though. I thought it was very well done and it was entertaining, pretty funny, etc. :) Of course, I don't think it's the best movie I've ever seen, but I liked it and I don't feel like I wasted my money or anything. After that we went to a couple stores for some Christmas shopping. I picked up some stocking stuffers and tried to find a CD for my daddy since he finally gave me some ideas, but, of course, they didn't have any of them at Target. Not real surprised though. lol So, I ordered one of them from Amazon.com and it'll get her on Christmas Eve so that's nice. Didn't have to pay extra for that either. Yay. :)

What else? Well, might possibly watch Meet The Fockers tomorrow. Not totally interested in seeing it, but it could be funny and it'd be good to be able to tell people on Wednesday how it is if they ask since we're opening it and I'm working. Don't know if I will though or not. I called Brian K. today and left him a message about it on his cell phone, but he didn't call back so it depends on if he calls me back tomorrow or not since he's the one who's probably building and running it. I know he's teaching Wes how to do it, but I don't think Wes can do it on his own yet. Don't know, we'll see. Anyway, I shall be off now, perhaps do some reading. Nighty night!

I often wonder what's wrong with me, because it's gotta be something. Some inherent flaw in my logic, a gap in my reasoning, or something. Something which makes me do the foolish, stupid, ideotic things that I do. My appologies for this, but I'm in one of those moods and writing about it helps me feel better. There's gotta be something though. And it eats away inside of me. It shouldn't, I shouldn't let it, but I fall prey to it far too easily. The words that tell me I'm nothing, when I know it's not true. But then it says to me, "maybe it is true. Think about things, remember this... and this..." I must not let it get to me.

Yesterday I went to work with my mom. Or well, I dropped her off there and hung there for a bit before I left to go see Finding Neverland again. Good movie. After that I went back and picked up my mom and we did a little bit of shopping before heading to dinner. Her boss(and formerly mine, though I still work there on occasion) invited us to dinner, daddy also included. So we got caught in some traffic on the way there, but we didn't end up being too late after all so that was good. My dad was pretty late because he had to work longer than he originally thought and then he got caught in the traffic too. But anyway, dinner was nice. I didn't talk to much to the other people there beside my parents, but that's just sort of how I am. The food was really good though and I ate quite a bit, mostly because that was the only actual food I had yesterday. lol

Today I slept in pretty late and then woke up and watched some TV. I was also good and finally finished cleaning by bathtub(I'd done half of it a good few weeks ago, lol) and cleaned the bathroom mirror. Still need to do the sink, but I can do that later tonight or tomorrow. Then I thought, hey, I might as well work on cleaning my room too! So, I did. And well, it's not clean, but at least it's cleaner. Still work that needs to be done on it and my closet's a mess, but it looks a lot nicer already.

I was supposed to be a work tonight, right now, but my mommy wasn't feeling good earlier so I had to take her to the doctor's office. :( They said she seems to be okay and she said she's feeling better now so at least that's good. I didn't know how long it was going to take so I called my boss to have her find someone else to work for me and then after I did that, we left the doctor's a few minutes later. Oh well. I called my boss back to say I could work after all if she hadn't already called someone, but she had, so I'm not. Just glad my mommy's feeling better though and I pray she's okay and nothing else is wrong.

And hence the point where I feel stupid. On the way home we stopped by work and I ran in to get our paychecks and something triggered that feeling in me. Maybe some of you know what I mean, when all of a sudden you just swing into one of those moods and feel down about yourself and sad and the thing that flicked you into it really didn't have anything at all to do with it. I don't know. One thing though, I need to stand up for myself. Not that this has to do with what happened when we stopped by the theatre, but I think it's been on my mind for a while. I'm almost 20 years old and I still let people tease me to no end. Constantly. I'm tired of it. I can't let people bring me down, even if it is just supposed to be friendly joking, for the rest of my life. I have to say something, let them know I can't deal with it anymore. Okay, I'm done now. And no one worry, I feel much better after writing this stuff out and I'll be okay. Though I feel special that some of you do really care about me and talk to me about stuff and let me rant to you some times. :) *hugs*

Yay! All done with finals!!! :) Or, at least, I think I am. lol Who exactly knows about my online class. *rolls eyes* lol I think technically it goes a little longer than on campus classes, but our final assignment was turned in and supposedly we should be able to see everyone's projects tomorrow, but my teacher can be slow with grading so who knows. I might know something tomorrow in that class though. :) I took my archeology final this morning. I'm not sure how I did on it, but I know I didn't get a perfect score. lol I'm just hoping other class members did about the same as me because then that gives me a better chance of an A since he grades out of the highest class grade, not total possible points. I like that system. ;) lol Anyway, I know I got one wrong because I couldn't for the life of me remember the name of this particular logical error. I know it now 'cause I looked after I left the room, but I sure as heck didn't remember it when I was taking the test! lol So, I got that one wrong. And then hey, does anyone know what the words "governed autocratically" imply in relation to early civilizations? Yeah, I don't either! lol I have no idea what autocratically means. lol I guess I should look it up... humm... So, I just looked it up and if I'd been thinking properly I might have wrote down the right answer, but nope, didn't. lol Oh well. Supposedly that phrase was in the book, but I don't remember it. ;) lol Anyway, guess I'll just have to wait and see on that one.

Monday I took my oceanography final and my teacher said that if we wanted to know our grades as soon as he was done calculating them that we should send him an e-mail and he'd e-mail us back with our grade when he was finished. So, I did and today I got an e-mail back with my grad in it! :D I got 193/200 on the final exam which was two parts! :) That's an A. :) lol And then my total point score for the whole quarter is 724/750 which is also an A!! :D *dances* Yay! So that was exciting. :) So, it's possible I could get a 4.0 this quarter, but after the test this morning, not totally sure on that one. Plus, definately don't know about the final group project from scripting. That one might not be up to par. Anyway, I had to tape the second part of Legend of Earthsea off TV last night 'cause it was study time so I think I'll go grab some lunch and watch it now. Ta ta!

][ 12:02 PM

Thursday, December 9, 2004

Well, the end is near. Tomorrow is my last day of regular classes for the quarter. Woo! I still have finals next week, but I'm not too worried about them. Hoping to do well, of course, but even if I don't it'll be okay. :) We'll just have to wait and see because I won't even know what my final grade is for a while after I take the finals anyway! lol

Yesterday I got addicted to a new online game from Pop Cap called Insaniquarium. It's lots of fun and once you get started you get sucked in pretty quick. I finished the whole free web version yesterday because I was playing for so long. lol Pop Cap makes a lot of fun and addicting games. My other faves from them are Zuma and Noah's Ark. Oh, and I played Typer Shark yesterday night as well and that was surprisingly very fun as well. :)

Dang, I know I had all this other stuff I wanted to post. *sigh* I must get better about posting sooner after things happen so I don't forget them. Heh. Umm... well, I remember that on Sunday at work I asked Brian K. and Brian J. what they thought of my movie idea. They didn't seemed too thrilled over it, but I think a lot of it is just that they don't understand what my story is. I tried to explain a bunch of it too them, but it didn't work and Brian J. was just caught up in wondering why there weren't guns. *shakes head* There's more to that and it was actually a good thing for me to think about that I need to make a couple things more clear, but yeah, whatever. ;) Anyway, I'm off to play more online games and watch TV. Night!

][ 10:05 PM

Sunday, December 5, 2004

I know, it's been ages since I last posted! Okay, so not really ages, but like a week which is quite some time. Why haven't I posted? Because I'm a lazy bum. That's pretty much it since I did have stuff that I could post, but I just didn't. lol So where to start now?

On Monday I got my archeology exam back. Again it was out of 123 points and the highest score in the class was 116. That means that 116 was a perfect score out of the class with my teacher's way of grading. So what did I get? 114. :) Which means I also got an A so that was nice to see. So, unless I UTTERLY bomb the final exam I'll get at least a B in the class so I'm not too worried about it. I'm sort of hoping that I can get A's in all three of my classes and end up with a 4.0 this quarter. We'll see. :) It doesn't really matter, but it would improve my overall GPA some I think. One C- can really drop your GPA, it sucks. lol But oh well.

In other news... well, I can't remember a whole lot and what I do might be out of order so here goes. Some time during the week my mom and I went down and got my car registered. And ooh... we got it registered under my name since I'm over 18. Cool, eh? lol And lucky me, I also got to pay for it and it was freakin' $160 to register it! You know, the lady types some stuff into the computer and has me sign something and that's it. Why it should cost so much, I do not know. Oy.

Friday I went to get a sandwich for dinner like I often do when I work on the weekend and I had a card for a free six inch sub. You know, I bought so many six inches and they punch a card for you and when it gets filled up you get a free six inch sandwich. So, I do what I always do and hand the lady the card and she goes, okay it'll be 38 cents. I'm like "what?" She said it costs 38 cents because I "added cheese" (it doesn't come on the sandwitch which is just plain stupid anyway). But you know, I get the SAME EXACT sandwitch every time I go in there and I've had lots of free six inch cards that I've used and I've NEVER been asked to pay 38 cents. WTHey? So, naturally, I told her that I've never had to pay for it before and she INSISTED that I had. I'm like, oh yeah, you know better than I would huh? So I was pretty perturbed about that and I'm going to write the owner about it because if that is their policy then they need to make sure everyone knows that and does it so that I'm not all of a sudden surprised that I have to pay. And you know, I think it's a stupid policy if that is what they do and I will therefore complain about that then. And as stupid as it may sound, I want my 38 cents back! lol So anyway, I paid the freakin' 38 cents and went back to work and ate my sandwich. Then, after I'd finished I just couldn't take it so I turned to Brian K. and am like, "can I vent to you for a minute? I just really need to get this out." He's like okay... and so I told him and I felt much better, but I still think it's important that I talk to the owner about this because I really don't think that's actually a policy of their's, I just think the lady had no idea what the heck she was doing, but if she was right then, well, they need to change that or put something on the free sandwich card that tells you that, you know?

Yesterday I had an oceanography class field trip. Yup, on a Saturday. lol It's kind of hard in college to schedule it for a weekday. It was to go look at tide pools and identify organisms, etc. So, I called up Tammy to see if she could go and she said she could so that was nice. :) I called Ran too, but she couldn't go. Bummer. Tammy and I had fun though. It wasn't real cool because there wasn't a whole lot of variety of things to see and it was cold. lol It was a bummer because the low tide wasn't until after it'd be pretty darn dark so we went early and the tide was still fairly high so it wasn't until toward the end that we could go out farther and I finally got to see a sea star! lol There was a whole lot of algae (seaweed) and barnacles though. ;) But it was kind of cool and it was nice to have my teacher telling us stuff about the critters too since usually when I've gone to tide pools we just kinda looked and didn't do anything else. lol

After that Tammy and I were going to go see a movie, but we missed it. Then I took us on an adventure because I accidently got off on this weird freeway exit. lol Oops. So we just ended up going to dinner. We finally decided to go to Taco Bell and I got a couple steak gorditas and then I tried to breathe a piece of steak! Tammy says they were trying to kill me with lime sauce. *rolls eyes* lol Anyway, it was like really bad and I had to hack up pieces of steak like three times 'cause it actually went down the pipe to my lungs. Gross, I know. More gross for me than just for you hearing about it. lol God is good though because I feel okay now and I think I got it all out. I actually hacked some of it up this morning too which kind of surprised me. Okay, okay, it's gross, I should stop talking about it, but this is my blog and I'm recording events of my life in it to remember years from now. Why do I want to remember this? I don't know. lol

We also went to get ice cream after that and it was good, but so incredibly bad for me. lol That reminds me that on Thursday I actually had ice cream from Cold Stone for lunch. It's really not a satisfying lunch, but it was either that or sit alone in Red Robin again and that was no fun the first time so I don't think I'm going to ever do that again if I can help it. lol

Oooh! I just remembered another thing! On Tuesday I went to Target to get Spider-Man 2 on DVD. And while that was cool, it actually wasn't the coolest thing... when I walked in they had their dollar section and there were DVDs over there and I kinda glanced and saw Felix the Cat! I immediately walked over and they had DVDs with 8 classic cartoon episodes on them for ONE DOLLAR each! Holy cow, what a deal! So, of course I grabbed the Felix the Cat one and then what did I spy... Gumby!! Double excitement! lol So, I got both of those along with Spider-Man 2. I've watched a few of the Felix ones and they're the great silent black and white ones... so happy. And then I watched part of a Gumby one and it was so happy too. lol Ah, and then on Thursday I found a DVD at, of all places, Staples that has a really old Rudolph cartoon on it that I have on a VHS that's dying so I got that too. lol

Today I thought I wasn't going to make it to church because I got up a bit late, but I'm very glad that God helped me make it there because first I saw Crystal who got back from Florida a few weeks ago so that was awesome. She's going to give me a call and we're going to get together after she gets her paycheck this weekend. :) Then when I was on my way to my seat a lady yells "Holly!" and I turn and there is my old digital imaging teacher! lol That was cool and I got her e-mail from her again and sent her an e-mail when I got home. Yeah, e-mailing a teacher from my high school. It sounds weird, but she's really nice and fun to chat with. :)

And now the rest of my day is pretty much just work. We get to all wear santa hats at work now for the rest of the month. ;) I'm kind of excited and I'm going to bring some wire holly garland that I have to put on mine. :) I'm also going to try and remember to bring my digital camera today and over the next few times I work so I can try and get pictures of everyone in their hats. :) I don't think that some of the boys will like that, but I'm pretty sure that at least one or two will cooperate willingly and hopefully I can get the others to grudgingly let me take their pictures. ;) lol Anyway, I think this is long enough now so TTFN!
