Yay! My hope in the Backstreet Boys' new album is revived!!! :D *dances* lol How so, you ask? Through the clip of the new song, "Incomplete." (DL here via N-L-Y.com.) The music is very nice and Alex's voice in the beginning is... LOVELY. So... pretty. :) And, big yay, the lyrics are NOTHING like "Poster Girl." YAY! lol But so yes, I highly recommend going to download that clip. It should be the top one on the list at that page. :)

In other news, Tammy's okay. I finally talked to her yesterday. She says she's just been really busy this week. I still wish she would have called me back sooner, but oh well. At least everything's okay. :) Hopefully she can come to the theatre and watch Finding Neverland with me some time this week. :)

Yesterday I was also off of work and since Tammy couldn't go to the movie that day, I decided to start working on my room stuff that needed to be done. I put together the new bookself all on my own. Never say I can't manage with a screwdriver, hammer, and nails. ;) lol Of course, God's the one who gave me the ability so who am I to really take credit for it? Plus, had to have mom help me move it into my room since I put it together in the family room. ;) lol I also did some other room stuff and got my new curtains washed, but they're REALLY long so I'm going to have to hem them before we can put them up. Mom's going to guide me in installing the brackets for the curtain rod and all. That's going to wait until at least tomorrow, however.

Today was school. Egh. I was not thrilled with english class. You know, I liked it at first, but I'm not enjoying it any longer and I don't like what I'm being told to write. I feel confined. Anyway... I had math after that and I got my first exam back. I was thinking that, at best, I would manage a B, but I got my test back and low-and-behold, 91/100. How'd that happen? lol Apparently what I've learned in the past is starting to come back because I didn't really study at all. That, and the fact that my teacher gave a lot of partial credit for answers I didn't get right, but was close to. I don't think I've ever had a math teacher that did that. Won't complain though since my grade in the class as a whole is basically just my first two tests and the final exam. There's a little bit of quiz stuff, but it's not worth much in comparison to the tests. Therefore, my overall grade is looking good so far. We'll see if it holds. ;) lol

At work this evening, I found out we're keeping the movie for an extra week. Usually that's a bummer, but in this case, it gives me more options for when to watch it and I really like this movie so it was a happy thing. ;) lol I was also informed that, in a couple of weeks, the comedian we've had the last couple of years is coming back to do a show! YES! He's so funny! So, I'd best be fast and request to have that night off when I'm in at work tomorrow. ;) lol I'd still get to watch part of it if I worked, but I'd have to miss a lot of stuff if people wanted more soda and popcorn. How could you want soda and popcorn during a comedy show? The first is going to fill up your bladder and at the next joke cause you to pee your pants and the second is going to get lodged in your throat at the next funny thing said! lol Silly people. ;)

In other news, I REALLY need to get a new layout made for this site. Even if it turns out crappy because I don't really have an idea for one, I need to do a new layout asap. Why? To get rid of the tags by stupid people thinking this is a Jesse McCartney fansite, which it is obviously not if you actually look at something more than the layout. *shakes head* I'm fine with people commenting on my layout and mentioning they thing that he's cute, but I've had to delete a whole lot of tags that are questions about him, etc. I don't know and I don't care! I just made a layout! lol So yes, need to come up with something new. I suppose I'll give it a shot while I continue listening to the "Incomplete" clip on repeat. I'm liking it more and more as it keeps playing over and over and over and over...

Wednesday, we got our second essay assignment in english. We have to write a reflection essay. I wasn't thrilled with it, but I thought, "okay, I'm sure I can come up with something to reflect on." But, NOOOOO, my teacher had to be e-vile. lol It HAS to be a reflection on home. Why?! I want to write FICTION! I want to make it up! I don't want to write boring crap about my life when I've not even hit twenty years quite yet! I don't have "amazing" personal crap to write about! She made us do prompt exercises and she's all like... "Think of a time when home didn't feel like home." Never. "Think of a time when you made someone else feel at home." Boring. I'm supposed to have my intro paragraph done by Monday. I got nothin'.

In other school news, I had my first math exam on Wednesday as well and I think I did okay. I left one question blank because it made absolutely NO sense to me. Then, after I got home, I realized I forgot to do the second part of one of the questions. Oops. Hopefully I managed a B... I hope. lol

Thursday afternoon I went down to work and Brian K. and I build Finding Neverland. I got to do some more of it this time than the last time so that was fun. I also did some other work while I was there. Then I got to go get a sandwich and eat it and hang at home for a bit before I had to go back to work. lol I had a longer night than usual because Wes was teaching me how to do the turn-around stuff the night before we start a new movie. That was all right I guess. lol I also downloaded a new game partly created by PopCap, but you have to pay $10 a month to be able to do anything cool with it and it really, actually, kinda sucked. It sounded so cool because it was all Pirate-y, but nope, wasn't that cool after all.

Today I slept rather late, then got up, did some laundry, cooked some chicken, and went off to work! lol Work was okay. Nothing too spectacular or interesting. Then I came home and it was already half-way through SG-1 so I decided to wait and watch the whole thing after Atlantis was over since we tape them even when we watch them. ;) lol Both we pretty good. I liked the Atlantis episode at all and well, there was just some rather humorous things in the SG-1 ep. lmao And before I started watching the shows, I also tried to call Tammy again. I've been trying to get a hold of her for a week now and I've left messages on her cell phone and tried her house. I'm wondering if she's okay. Hope so.

So, enough of my chattering now I guess. I might attempt to go to sleep early and therefore get up early and put together my new bookcase and maybe even put up my curtains. We'll see, but I guess it's not really too likely. lol And, as my final note before I go, a very happy birthday to Nick. :) Night, night!

The majority of my day today was spent almost completely re-writing my essay. (Well, that and sleeping late and staying to watch the movie, Series of Unfortunate Events, at work with my mom.) Just as I had figured, it sucked like heck. This was all confirmed when I received a copy of it back with my teacher's writing all over it yesterday in class. Of course, I can barely make out anything she wrote on it because her handwriting is so terrible, but I already knew it bit the big one anyway. That's really aggitating though. If you're an english teacher and you're writing feedback on a student's essay, they should be able to actually READ it instead of having to stare at it for 20 minutes and ATTEMPT to decipher it all. Oy. Anyway, a huge thanks to Sam for reading over it and correcting it for me. :) I still don't think I'll get the best grade on it, but it would have been worse if it wasn't for Sam's help. ;) lol

All this being so, I've neglected to do ANY studying for my first math exam which is tomorrow afternoon. I shall probably spend a bit of time between english and math doing that, and nothing more. Why? Because I don't particularly care all too much and I think I'll be okay on most of it, just need to review a few things beforehand, such as the laws of exponents. I can hardly remember those. lol But, at least, the test will be largely made up of the stuff we've been covering in the chapters, rather than the initial review information, and I recall that much better. Anyway, I've really nothing else to write so I shall be off now. Ta ta!

So, I'm sitting in the ticket booth at work before the second show and my friend Ran's dad comes up with some people to get tickets. Everything's going normal and then he goes, "Did you hear Ran's getting married?" I had a very "uhhh" look on my face. lol When I got home from work I called her and left a message to double check that it was true. She called me about an hour or so ago and confirmed, it is true. She's getting married. She says she thinks it'll be in mid-July. Woah. So now Tammy has a baby and Ran's getting married. Crazy stuff, I tell ya. ;) lol I was not really surprised that Ran's getting married though. She's been with this guy for YEARS so I figured it was eventually coming.

In other news, not a whole lot going on. Had work today and yesterday. Apparently there were some issues with the projector at work on Thursday night and early Friday though. The fan broke and the light bulb kept shutting off automatically when it got too hot. That part's good considering that you have to be REALLY careful with the light bulb that goes in that projector because it could implode. Not good. lol It freaks me out. While the fan's not fixed yet, they put a temporary one on the projector. It works, but it gets VERY warm in the projector room after a while. Hope it gets fixed soon and I hope I don't have to deal with this stuff all on my own when Brian K. and Wes leave. Anyway, don't have much else to tell so I'm off now. Nighty night!

Wednesday, the rough draft of my essay was due in english. We broke into assigned groups(the first time the teacher didn't let us pick our own groups) and read over a sample essay and then practiced peer reviewing on it. That was rather boring and I wasn't particularly thrilled with my group. Oh well. Anyway, I ended up reading my essay first. I was kinda bummed because I didn't really get the kind of feedback I was hoping for. You know, the kind that I could actually use. lol Then I gave feedback on my two group member's papers and class was over.

In math, I got back my first two quizes. Quiz too I only missed two points, but the first quiz I pretty much bombed. The reason being that she didn't TEACH us the material it was going to be on. She just went over really fast and expected that everyone in the class remembered it for review. Oh well, I don't really care. That's bad though because that means I'm probably not going to try that hard to do well. Anyway, now that we're actually getting into the chapters, I'm liking it better. I remember some of the stuff and it's more what I prefer, math wise. So, hopefully I'll get a B overall in the class. An A would be nice, but I'm just hoping for at least a B.

After school, I went to Target and looked to see if they had the Lego set I wanted. They didn't. They used to have it, but I guess they're not carrying those ones anymore. Blarg. Then I went over to the DVD section and picked up Aladdin The Return of Jafar and Aladdin and the King of Theives. :) I ended up watching the first of those two when I got home and I was rather dissapointed. I thought I had remembered it being better than that, but it really stinks. lol

Later in the evening, I was thinking about watching King of Theives, but I was kind of worried because I didn't want it to stink as bad as the other one. Finally, I decided to pop it in because there wasn't anything on TV and guess what, that one's a whole lot better! lol The third one is just as good as the first movie and the animation is the same and the songs are all really good. I just can't understand how the first and third ones are really good and somehow they just truly botched up the second. Odd, odd, odd.

Yesterday morning, Brian K. called just in time to wake me up from this freaky dream I was having. lol He called to tell me what time to come down to the theatre so I could teach me how to put the movie together. See, when you get a film for show at a theatre on a projector, in comes in sections, called reels. Then, what we have to do is tape(splice) all the reels together in order and wind them onto one of the big platters before it can go through the projector. It's really quite interesting actually. So, Brian showed me how to do that and all went well. It even took less time than he thought it would which means I'm like a speed learner or something, right? ;) lol I even got to do some stuff, which was nice. Next time, I'll be doing more of it, like putting together the previews which is a little more work than the rest of the movie, apparently.

Today I've just been chillin' out at home. I woke up, took a shower, did my laundry, etc. I also got my homework done, which it's now nice not to worry about. ;) I also filed my tax return and will hopefully get a nice, lovely, government check in the mail in a month or two. :D Yay for tax returns when you get money back! lol Anyway, now I'm just biding my time until eight when SG-1 is on, followed by Atlantis. All new episodes for each start tonight! *dances* Ooooh... the excitement! Well, I'm off now then. TTFN!

Well, that went well and fast. I'm done with my essay; it's all printed out and ready to go. I guess I like it okay. I think my final sentence is lame and I'll probably end up chaning it for the final draft, but for now, at least it will give my peer reviewers something more to comment on. ;) lol

And no call back yet from Brian K. so I guess we're probably not building the movie today, which is good. :) Hopefully our schedules can work together though so that there's a time when he and I can both get to the theatre otherwise I might not start learning until the next movie. lol Guess I'm off now though. Ta ta for now!

][ 3:22 PM

I didn't have school yesterday, but tomorrow I must go back again and my first essay in english is due. I've got two of my three to four pages done and am a bit stuck so I'm taking a break right now. It's going okay so far I guess. I'm writing it on my cousin Steven and sort-of what he means to me. It's a bit of a pain though because I have a list of things that have to be included in my essay and there's a few of them I'd rather not use. lol Blarg. That's the thing with assignments, though.

Sunday I spent a whole lot of time working on my layout portfolio. I've now got up all the old layouts from streeted.net, shininstar.net and my very first domain I ever bought, raspberry-rain.net. That domain name now seems so lame to me, but it used to seem so cool. Funny how these things happen. ;) Anyway, I was up until 4 AM working on that stuff! lol Consequently, I didn't get up yesterday until about 2:30-3PM.

I spent a fair amount of time yesterday reading from one of my english books. It's a big book all about the rules of writing, etc. I also had work, which went fine. Then I came home and watched all four of the Whose Line episodes that were on TV before watching the Behind the Stargate special on SciFi. I wasn't real thrilled with the special. They did it quite similarly to the last one and it's just like everyone is over-acting the whole time and the script for it is terrible, in my opinion. Oh well. New episodes of SG-1 and Atlantis start on Friday night though and I'm off that day so I won't miss any of them! :) YAY! lol

I suppose I should be trying to continue writing my essay now. It's possible that I could get a call from Brian K. saying that at some point this afternoon he's going to build the next movie and I need to go down and watch him do it so I can start learning how. I'm sort of hoping though, that he doesn't want to do that today and we can do it tomorrow night or Thursday during the day since those would be better. God's awesome to me though since I've already got most of my esssay written so it wouldn't be too terrible if I had to spend extra time at work today. :) I guess I really should get back to it now and see about finishing it up. The trouble is I'm not sure where to go from here and how to bring it into what I think I'm going to write in my conclusion. *sigh* Wish me luck!

Okay, new layout featuring Jesse McCartney. :) Of course, after I was already almost done with the layout last night I decided to download his music video for the song also featured on this layout and was disappointed. Darn them always disappointing me. It was okay until it got near the end. Why do women and girls do these things?! Be strong girls! Don't lower yourselves to that level! Gar.

Anyway, I still like his music and I was already so far into this layout that I just continued and am still putting it up. I just had to say that I wasn't happy about his music video though. Good song, bad music video ending. Or, almost ending as it wasn't right at the end, it was just before it. So, who knows how long this will be up now! lol But then again, how many times have the Boys, and more specifically Nick, done these sorts of things and I still put layouts up of them? I've gotta stop that. Darn them for their layout-worthiness while feeding the evil of society! Wow... I'm done now. ;)

I also forgot to write in my previous post that I did some work on my layout portfolio over at my collective. I added all the past layouts from sourlemonade.com. Sadly, that domain is gone now, officially. *sniffs* It's expired and I didn't renew it. Sadness, but I have to pick and choose now as I just don't have use for so many domains. That's it for now, I'm off to get some sleep. G'night!

So... I'm okay, and my car actually made it out pretty darn well too, but there was a little incident earlier. It decided to FINALLY snow today and there was a lot of wind as well. It was time for work and I was running a tad late so I hopped in my car and headed off for the theatre. Apparently I was going faster than I should have been since I was in a bit of a hurry(and I also have a problem going fast around this particular turn when it's not covered in snow) and didn't slow down enough before the sharp bend in the road. I was starting to pull out of the turn when I felt my back wheels sliding so I turned into the slide like they tell you in driver's ed class, but then I started sliding in that direction! So, I turned again and then it became apparent that I was heading straight for the ditch along the side of the road so I thought, screw it, and braked. I went into the ditch. I did a 180 and ended up going into the ditch in the opposite direction I had been driving. I'm totally fine though. No bumps or bruises or anything and I was surprising less shaken up than one would have expected.

The first thing I did was to whip out the cell phone to call my mommy. As it was ringing a boy came up to my passenger window to see if I was okay so I opened the door and was all like, "I'm okay!" lol He stayed and another guy came up too. I talked to my mom and she said she was coming and then talked to the two guys for a few minutes and they asked me if I was okay a number of times. lol Can't blame them though because I'd do the same to someone else, some times you can't tell right away. I was totally all right though. The older guy who came second was all like, "well, at least you weren't going too fast or you would have tipped over." Wow. That helped. lmao I finally assured them I was okay one more time as I started to dial Brian K.'s cell phone to tell him I was gonna be late for work and they drove off.

While I was talking to Brian a couple other cars slowed down and rolled down their windows to check on me and then a few more after I got off the phone with him. Then when I was sitting in the car waiting(and mind you my car was at an angle going down into the ditch so it didn't look real good, lol), a few more people slowed down and I waved them on from my position sitting in the back of the car and signaled that I was O.K. Apparently, when my parents went back to meet the tow truck, they discovered that people had wiped off the passenger side window to check if anyone was in there. So today I learned that I must drive really slow in the snow, I should probably get new rear tires, and that there are a lot of really nice people who live down our road. lol Of course, there's already the things I knew as well, for instance, how much God loves me and that He takes care of me. I'm fairly positive that's why I wasn't really scared through any of it, because of good prayer time I had with God last night and Him sending His angels to watch over me. :)

But yeah, I made it to work a half an hour late. Our neighbor ended up giving my mom a ride to come get me and then drove me on to work before bringing my mom back home. My dad was up skiing with the other vehicle. So, of course, while I was at work today, the boys kept linking things to "well, at least you didn't drive your car into the ditch," etc., et al. *rolls eyes* That means they love me and they care about me though, right? Yeah... I don't know, but they at least like me a bit even though they tease me all the time. Also while at work I worked on a new layout for this site which will be up in a while or after I've had some sleep, one of the two, and I got to thread the projector. Brian K. talked me through it. I did pretty good remembering things, but not all. I also had a real bad case of being clumsey while I was at work. Perhaps I can attribute it to the accident? lol

I had planned to write a lot of things about the past week, but I've discovered that I really need to blog about things they day that they happened otherwise I forget them all and that's just no good. Arg. So, I shall try and do a quick recap of the events.

Math seems to be getting better and we've had two quizes now, though I'm pretty sure I missed at least one question on each of them. I'm quite rusty with math. We got our first of five essay assignments in English on Wednesday. I have to write an autobiographical essay on a person who means something to me, showing what they mean to me. Wasn't thrilled with it, but my cousin Steven has been on my mind lately so I settled on him for who to write it on and I've written a few paragraphs so far. There's no school on Monday so I have extra long to write it. Yay! :)

Tammy came over on Thursday and had dinner and we chatted. The night before I was watching Pirates of the Caribbean and decided, when it was over, to watch some of the special features. There's an awesome old Disney show from when the attraction first opened on there and I was watching that when I decided that I want to go to Disneyland! Sure, I've been there a lot and just went less than a year ago, but man, that show made me want to go again ASAP! lol They've changed a lot of stuff on that ride, but then there's a lot that hasn't changed at all either. It was neat to see. Anyway, I thought to myself, I wonder if Tammy would want to go with me during spring break? I mean, I'm DONE with school before then. I even went to the website for Disneyland and they're having a sale right now where adults get to play for the kids price and the 5-day park-hopper passes are a REALLY good deal! So, I asked Tammy when she came over on Thursday and she seemed semi-interested so there is some hope. We'll see. ;)

I think it was yesterday that my mom and I finished the final episode of the final book of North and South on DVD. The third book is WAY different than the first two and a bunch of it annoys me and they kill off a lot of cool characters, but I guess it was all right. lol We'll probably start going through it again in six or more months; I wouldn't be surprised.

I can't recall anything else for the recap so I'll let it go there. Good thing I don't have to go to work tomorrow though because I don't want to have to drive in the snow for a while again. And, who knows, if it continues to snow, I might not even have to go to school on Wednesday. I'm not totally against that. ;) lol But, there are hardly any class days anyway since it's only two days a week so I guess it would be better if I could go, but missing one scheduled class day wouldn't be too bad, right? lol Anyway, I'm off to code the new layout and see if I decide to put it up before I go to bed. TTFN!

][ 11:30 PM

Sunday, January 9, 2005

Wow, lots to say since the last time that I posted! I'll try and start from the so-called "beginning" on this one. ;) So, Tuesday night Heidi called me and said she wasn't going to be able to do anything on Thursday after all because her dad wanted her to head back to school early in case it was going to snow. Gar. So, instead I woke up early Wednesday morning and picked her up and we went and had breakfast at Denny's and chatted for a while. I got home with a fair amount of time to spare before I had to leave for school so I just chilled.

When I got to school it took me a while to find a parking spot. Guess that means that it's not good for me to get there just in time for class, gotta get there a bit earlier like I did on Monday. Anyway, english was awesome! lol We spent the whole time doing writing exercises and got out of class way early! lol I'm liking that class a fair amount so far. ;) Math, on the other hand, is a bit different. I actually skipped out half-way through math on Wednesday during the break. I was just bored and I didn't want to be there any more. Not good, I know. So, I called mom and had her call in our order to Pizza Hut and then I picked it up on my way home. Much better than having to stay in math class for another hour. ;) lmao

On Thursday I think I just lazed around the house and didn't do my english homework like I probably should have done that day. lol Oh yeah. Then Friday I went to work at the office for a while 'cause Frank had lots of software he wanted me to install on a G5. Yup, I get paid to install software and read my book at the same time because those programs take a LONG time to install. Most of them, anyway. Then after that I came home for just a little bit before heading to work at the theatre. Apparently Brian K. recently discovered the game Collapse and was playing it. lol Then Nate had to give it a shot too. I've played it before. Well, the online free version anyway, hadn't played the deluxe version, but it's really not that different. So, I thought perhaps I could beat Brian K.'s score! I didn't get far enough before a whopping 180 people showed up for the movie! It was weird, we were not expecting to have that many people that night. So, yeah, didn't get to keep going 'cause it was time for me to leave, so sad.

I was hoping to do something on Saturday with Tammy, like going to see The Phantom of the Opera, but then it wasn't really going to work out so she said maybe today instead. So that freed me up to spend the afternoon/evening out shopping with mommy! Yay! We went to Wal*Mart and then to Applebee's for dinner. We went there because they have Weight Watchers meals and my mom just started the program on Wednesday. And I started yesterday. I'm doing it vicariously through her, 'cause I can't afford to pay for it and I don't really want to go to the meetings. lol So, I'm doing the points thing now and mom just has a little book which tells you how many points different foods are and then based on your weight you get a certain amount of points per day and then you have a set amount of extra points per week. Anyway, mom got one of the Weight Watchers meals at the restaraunt, but I didn't because none of them really sounded that good, save for one of the deserts. lol Oh man though, that food did not set right with me. Beware of getting chicken there.

After dinner we went to Target and I was going to look for the Harry Potter Hogwart's Express Lego set because I've seen it there before and I thought that I might spend my Christmas present money on it, but, weirdly, just like at Wal*Mart, they had hardly any Legos in stock and NONE of the Harry Potter ones! How rude! But, when I was walking through the toy aisles there was a big plush Bright Heart Racoon! And he was so cute! So, I picked him up to see how much he was thinking I probably wasn't going to end up getting him, but then what do I see? He was marked down to ten bucks! Woo haw! So, I had a lovely time carrying him around the store for a bit and then I bought it and took it home with me! lol I was totally excited and still am a bit. ;)

When we got home we watched some more North and South and then my parents went to bed and I decided I'd best get to work on the english homework. I got most of it done, but stayed up quite late and was therefore quite tired when I woke up this morning. lol Good thing my mom came in to make sure I was awake when she did 'cause I'd turned off my alarm and I wouldn't have had time to take a shower.

That brings us up to today. Woo! I went to church this morning and read farther in Revelation instead of listening to the sermon. Oops. But at least I was reading the Bible and in the same book that the pastor was teaching on so it's not so bad, right? After church I came home and I had some of mom's veggie soup that she made which was a zero point item! YAY for zero point items! lol Then I went to care-bears.com and discovered that they have coloring images you can download! *squee* I downloaded them all and I colored a Wish Bear one before I posted this. I'm going to try and color the Grumpy Bear one real nice and use it as a layout. We'll see how I do. Oh, and by coloring, I mean using Photoshop. ;) But anyway...

I went to work after I played on the Care Bears website for a bit. I played Collapse and I beat Brian K. by level number, but not by points. Shucks. So, he maintains that he is still number one, which he technically is on the high score list, but I still got a level higher than him so I feel good. Heh. ;) I was going to download the deluxe version and play it at home and take a screen cap of my final score(which Brian actually remembered about today, I was surprised), but they have a new version and I couldn't find the old one that's on the theatre computer so, yeah, it wouldn't really have worked. Oh well.

I came home and Tammy called me back after a bit saying she wasn't going to be able to do anything today either. So, she's coming over Thursday to hang and have dinner. Then I decided I was hungry. So, I went to the website for Blimpie Subs and found out the nutritional values for their turkey sandwhich so that I could figure out the points and see if I had enough left for the day. I did! lol So daddy and I went to the store to get him some dinner and a few things for my mom and I rented some movies as well. Then we went and got me my sandwhich and came home. Mom and I watched Wimbledon while we were eating. Some bad stuff in it, of course, but rather cute and I sort of have a thing for Paul Bettany. lol ;) I thought he did really well in the movie so I hope he does another one soon, which, hopefully, will have less bad stuff in it.

Once that was over, it was time for more North and South! We'll be done with book 2 of 3 in a day or two depending on how much more we watch and when. Then the parents went to bed and I printed out my english homework(it's all gotta be typed, or, most of it does, but the teacher said she prefers it that way). And then I whipped out my laptop and started watching Ella Enchanted which was another rented movie. *sniffs* There's scratches on the DVD near the end and it kept skipping. Garg. I also rented Troy and shall probably watch that tomorrow night or Tuesday. *yawns* Okay, it's late now and I need a good night's sleep. Nighty night!

Oh! And a very happy birthday to Alex. :)

I care! I care! I care! Guess who's watching The Care Bears Movie II right now? lol Yup, it'd be me. :D Yay! Dark Heart's evil left him when he admitted how much he cared! *love* And you gotta admit that the Care Bears are all just so cute, especially Grumpy Bear. ;) Aww... it's the end of the movie now and the Care Bears are going back to the Kingdom of Caring. I should probably move on now, huh?

Actually a fair amount to talk about today! Oooh. lol Today was my first day back at school with my new classes and the most exciting thing is that... I don't have to go to school tomorrow! lol *dances* But aside from that, the day was pretty good. I had English first and we ended up having to break up into groups. So, after most of the class had done that the guys in front of me and turned around and we made a group with the guy next to me as well. How do I always end up being the only girl in a group of guys? lol Anyway, we weren't sure what we were supposed to do and none of us talked for like the first ten minutes. lol Finally, the teacher came over and asked why we were all so quiet so I told her that there was no loud person in our group(before that she'd talked about how there's usually a loud person who silences the others and they don't get their opinions in and she said she didn't want any of that). One of the other guys said a bit of something and then the teacher brought us some new quotes for us to discuss and after a bit more silence(save for two of the guys who were friends talking to each other about off-topic stuff), I got a little brave and tried to spark some discussion. lol And then it was announced that one person should be selected to say something about what they talked about to the whole class, for the group as a whole. They all look at me and one of them says something like, "Her, she's smart." And while it's nice to be told you're smart, I didn't want to do it! I said, "I don't do public speaking." Had to though because none of them were going to talk! lol So I did and then I had one of the other guys say his opinion so at least I didn't have to voice everything. lol After that we all wrote letters to the teacher talking about ourselves as writers or non-writers, which ever it was, and also filled out questionaire forms. Then I got to go.

I had quite a bit of time left before my math class so I got some snacks and I read while I waited. Then it was time for math and well, I'm not really looking forward to that for the rest of the quarter. I was hoping it would be okay, but I don't know. At least, I wasn't thrilled with the first day. Hopefully next time will be better. Oh yeah, and now I'll have to try and remember stuff I learned four or more years ago. Joy. *rolls eyes* Okay, gotta think positively about it.

I had just time to eat after I got home before it was time for work. And then when I got there Wes said he mentioned to his mom(AKA, the Boss), that I might be interested in becoming manager since Wes was going to do it, but he'll be leaving in May for school now. I was a little shocked. I was thinking abou talking to Karlene about it, but I wasn't sure and I didn't know if she was interested in having me learn to do it or if she wanted to hire someone else to do it, etc. But so yeah, when she got there, she talked to me about it and I'm going to start learning stuff ASAP. I'm going to continue with my previous lessons on how to thread the projector and I'll also be learning how to build movies. See, the film comes in pieces and you have to tape the pieces together and then when you're done with the movie, you have to take it apart to get sent back to the distributors. Also, I'll be in charge of keeping the advertising info organized and probably a few other things. So, this would mean that I won't be looking for a full time job after this quarter as I'll be working there a lot more and will hopefully get a raise once I'm trained and start actually doing things on my own. I'm a little nervous on how well I'll be able to do it all, but I trust God to guide me if this is His plan. :) Oh, and Tammy might start working there soon 'cause one of the other boys is probably going to be leaving, but it's not for sure yet.

So yeah, a fairly eventful day for me. And I was going to hang out with Heidi tomorrow since she's still home from school for break, but we decided to move our excersion to Thursday so tomorrow I get to just relax and it sounds rather nice to me actually. ;) *yawns* Okay, I'm off now. Nighty night!

So it's the new year, doesn't feel too different though. I guess I'm supposed to still say happy 2005 though. ;) And I hope none of that sounded sour, I was just sayin'. So, did I do anything fun for New Years Eve? Nope. lol I stayed home and my parents went to bed around 10:30. But, I flipped to some fireworks at midnight and drank some sparkling cider so, yay. lol

I've been having lots of website related fun the past few days though. :) I finally decided to start writing my TCG member management script and guess what... it works! lol It took QUITE a while to get it to work and I did end up having to ask one thing over at the CodeGrrl forums, but I did pretty good just with some tutorials and thinking and stuff. I've still got stuff to do on it though and will have to test it further, but eventually I'm going to "release" it for others to use if they'd like. :)

I also did some other stuff for my upcoming Stargate TCG. You know, made a little guess the number script game and did the images for the memory games and puzzles. :) It was fun. lol Still got TONS to do before I'll be ready to open that though. It boggles the mind. Also, I did a layout for 2ka0tic.com. :D It's not up yet, but I made it! lol I'm going to make that into a tutorial and script site. Still quite a bit to do for that one too. lol

And that's all I've got right now. *microphone voice* This is HoL... signing off. *click*
