Wow, I can't even remember to re-cap. lmao So, what to write about then, eh? I've been buying lots of things off of eBay recently. lol I got a new wax seal stamp that has holly on it, two Disney Robin Hood pins, a Sega Genesis, and Sonic 1, 2, 3 and Spinball. Of course, none of them have come yet, but they will eventually. ;) lol I'm excited for Sonic. My Genesis comes with two controllers, so now I can try and get someone to play two-player Sonic 2 with me. I'll also be able to use cheat codes, and beat the game. lol I know, I should beat it with out the cheat codes, but I might be too lazy for that. *shrugs*
Oh, duh! Saturday was Ran's bridal shower. Tammy and I got there a bit late because she was out with her mom in the early part of the day, and didn't get back on time. No biggie though, we didn't miss anything. At first we all just sort of stood around, then Tammy and I sat and talked for a while. There weren't very many people our age there, mostly it was Ran's family and some people from her soon-to-be hubby's family. Tammy and I knew a couple other people though, and everyone was real friendly. :)
After a while, they announced the start of the first game. We split in to teams and it ended up being the younger faction (aka us) against the older people who were there. Our group got to make a toilet paper wedding dress for Ran, and the other group made one for Ran's dad. lmao It was lots of fun, and I must say that Ran looked lovely in her toilet paper wedding dress. ;) Her dad looked really funny, they even gave him a chest. *shakes head* It was quite funny when the two of them posed for pictures together. Maybe I'll get some, if I think to ask Ran for them. Hehehe. We played another game or two, but that one was by far the most fun. Ran ended up opening the big present from Tammy and I first, and liked it. Most of the other gifts were nice too, but there were a few... um... scary ones. lol *shudders* Egh.
Not too much else going on. Been working, of course. I've also been doing some writing with Tammy, which I need to do more of tonight or tomorrow morning. For now though, I'm watching Cheetah. The Disney Movie Club finally sent it to me today. Yay! :) lol I don't mind too much at having to wait. I'm just glad that they fixed it and got it right without me having to go through a bunch of crap for it. Well, that's all I feel like writing now, so I shall sign off, and try to write more later or something. Night, night!

Yesterday and today were not totally good days. Neither were entirely bad, but they just did not turn out so nice as I had planned/hoped. Yesterday was my day off, so I was way excited to have a break and have relaxation time. Church went fine in the morning, and I called Tammy afterward to see when she wanted me to come over, but she asked to postpone until Monday. I had no problem with that because it meant that I had the rest of the day to do whatever I liked. :) I decided to go out. I went to the mall and got some new colors of sealing wax (white, red, and green). Then, I went to see Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
The movie was supposed to start at 5:30 PM. However, they're typically late at the bigger theatres, so when it was five minutes after I wasn't too worried and thought they'd start it in a moment. However, they must have forgot about it or something, because they didn't finally start the movie until almost 5:45! Arg. I was, at least, happy that they finally started it and was hoping there'd be some good previews. I can't even remember what any of them were now because they just went on and on and on and on! The movie itself didn't start until 6 o'clock! I was willing to put that past me though. But now I must add another "however." About half-way through the movie, some IDEOT turned on the light in the projection booth! Now, it's not a problem if that happens at our theatre because our lights are not that bright and we only have a few small windows: one for the projector to display the movie through, and then two for other things. This place that I was watching Hitchhiker's at though, they had just a huge window, and their light was one of those big florecent office lights. So, light FLOODED into the theatre and annoyed us all for at least ten minutes, perhaps more. I think you can understand how that put a damper on my day. What made it even more sad was that I didn't really like the movie. :( It was a good idea, but the movie just seemed rather stupid to me. I laughed at some of the parts, but I walked out wondering what the point was. In most movies, you can find some point, but none jumped out at me in that one. Oh well.
I went to Target after the movie yesterday and was again saddened. They didn't have any dark chocolate "dark side" M&Ms! *tears* Dark chocolate is my fave, so I was very excited about them making those, but I have not seen them anywhere yet. :( *sniff* I did get a new mini Maglight though, so it wasn't a total loss. The day wasn't that bad, it was just not so happy as I had been hoping for.
Today started out fine. I went to hang out with Tammy and we were going to start writing a story together, but I just couldn't get myself into it. We ended up stopping after a while and played games on the computer, then started watching Bednobs and Broomsticks. We only got a bit of the way through before I had to leave though. All was fine at home; it was work that bummed this day out.
Let's just say that things were hectic and un-coordinated and I did not handle it well. I don't know what's been wrong with me lately. I've just had some messed up moods where I've gotten way angry when I should not have. And I mean like, cussing to myself over stupid things, and just being sour. After the movie started, and I was reading for a bit, I started to feel better, and I feel okay now. I don't know, could be something to do with... I don't know. I've just been thinking about things and then stuff happens, and it gets to me too easily or something. Whatever. Anyway, I'm off now. Nighty night.

Today was pretty busy at work. lol I pretty much slept up until I had to leave for work today. lol I had an hour and a half or something from the time I finally got out of bed to when I needed to leave. I was actually five minutes late to work. I thought I had plenty of time, so I took longer, and I took too long. Oy, I must stop doing that! I always feel really bad when I'm late. Anyway, I got to work and there were already people waiting outside to buy tickets again! The three of the guys were already there cleaning still too. We didn't let people in for quite a while because they weren't done cleaning yet. Oops. lol It's kind of hard on days like today though, because they all had school, so they couldn't have gotten to work any earlier than they did. At least there were a few of them working on cleaning, so that was good. I started selling tickets almost right away after I got there and didn't really stop until well into the first half of the movie. lol We ended up being one person short-handed too, but the really nice lady who's there to count everyone who comes in offered to help and she tore tickets for us. See, Fox hired this company to send people to every theatre from Thursday through Sunday to count all the people coming in to every show. Apparently they don't trust our numbers or something. *rolls eyes* At least the lady who was sent to our theatre is very nice. :) I'm letting her in to see the movie for free with her grandkids tomorrow since she helped us out so much today. :D We'll probably give her free popcorn and stuff, too.
Anyway, a bit before the first showing was over, we sold out for the eight o'clock show. lol It's actually really nice that way, because then everyone comes early and it's not so much of a rush to get people in and seated, and we don't have to worry about not getting the movie started on time. Most everyone was pretty decently behaved last night and this evening though. Charlie had to warn a few people this evening, but it really wasn't too bad, and no one actually came out to complain about people being loud. Oh crap, that reminds me... these girls came out, who were sitting in the front row, to let us know there was some green gum on the screen, and I was going to take it off, but I totally forgot about it once the movie was over! Hopefully I'll remember tomorrow. Actually, tomorrow's probably better because the curtains close automatically at the end of the movie and I would have had to open them just to get the gum off, but they'll be open before the first show tomorrow anyway. lol
It's been nice last night and tonight, because I've had someone staying to help me clean-up afterwards. Charlie's the one who actually stayed both last night, and tonight. Zach was scheduled to stay tonight, but he didn't realize it, and couldn't, so Charlie was nice enough to fill in for him. Charlie should really be happy though, because now he's getting extra time, which he's been wanting, as far as I know. Anyway, it's much nicer having someone to help you pick up all the big pieces of trash afterwards. lol My mom and dad always help when they come down, but I like it better this way, because I always feel bad that my parents come down to help me and don't get paid. This way, they can stay home and relax. Much better. :)
The way cute bride and groom rubber duckies I ordered for Ran came in the mail today! They're very cute. :) I think that Tammy and I are giving Ran the coolest stuff, and I seriously doubt that anyone else is going to give her bride and groom rubber duckies. lmao What engaged couple wouldn't want those? ;) lol Also in the mail today, I got a new credit card!!! lol It's not as exciting as when I finally got my first one (since no one would give me one since I didn't have any credit... stupid. how can I get credit if no one will give me a credit card? lol), but still kind of cool. It's an Amazon.com card, so I get rewards with it! Ooooh. lol Also, supposedly I get a $30 Amazon.com gift certificate after my first time using the card, and I get 3 points for every dollar I spend on their website, then 1 point for every dollar I spend anywhere else. Of course, I don't know how many points it takes to get something cool, but I'm sure eventually I'll have enough to get something. lol I've already got plans to buy some books with that $30 gift certificate too. lol It's so annoying when you activate these things though, because they ask you if you want to sign up for extra stuff, and it's a recording, and you have to wait until they're finished talking before you know which button to push for "no." lol Oh well. I think I also have to call the number to talk to a human being too, and make sure I'm opted-out for everything. I don't want anymore junk mail than I already get. My bank and Providian keep sending me 3-4 pre-approved credit card offers a month, and it's really starting to annoy the crap out of me! lol I wouldn't have minded when I was first trying to get a credit card, where were they then?! Crazy credit card people. lol
Woo... this is quite the long entry, and it's almost time for Kim Possible, so I'll be off now. I've been getting into the habit of watching Kim Possible almost every night when it's on at 12:30 AM. The other night it was the Oh Boyz episode, so I taped it! lmao That one ROCKS! They sing, "Hello, Hello, Hello," "Quit Playing Games With My Head," and "I Want It My Way." Hehehe. :P I think it's funny. ;) Anyway, nighty night people, and I'm sure you'll all hear more about my work again soon. Heh. Night!

I've been having way too much work "fun" lately. Monday night, while the movie was going, I was trying to get our new ticket software and printer working, since we finally got ticket stock for it. First of all, the hilarious thing was that it came with a roll of stock for it. lmao It's not exactly like the kind we ordered, but it would have been helpful to start getting it setup before then, had we known it was there. I assumed that since the box had been opened, someone had gone through everything that was in there, but apparently that was not the case. lol Oops. Anyway, it took me a good hour or more to figure out the password to login to the software program. See, Wes had installed the software and had been messing around with it some before he left, but he hadn't written down the password. I left him a message asking him to call me back and tell me what it was. However, I discovered that it was just a generic password and got logged in before Wes returned my call. Good thing too because he said he didn't know what the password was. lmao Once that was good, I couldn't get the software to recognize the printer, and finally gave up for the evening.
Tuesday morning I went down to work (on my supposed day off), and started messing around with the ticketing program and printer to get everything to work. It said nothing in the printer instructions about needing a driver, so I assumed it didn't. I could not get the thing to work though, so I went online at work to see if I could find drivers for it. I did, but of course, the work computer doesn't have a CD burner, and the laptop we're using for tickets can't connect to the internet. Therefore, I had to drive to the grocery store to buy some CD-Rs, and then go to my house where I proceeded to download the drivers and burn them to a disk. Then I went back to the theatre, installed the drivers, and it still wouldn't work. I called support for the program at that point, and the guy told me I had the wrong drivers (I had gotten them off the company's site who made the printer, and it was the only one they had for the model of printer). So, he said he'd e-mail me a link to the proper drivers. I then went home (again), and proceeded to check my e-mail, download the new drivers, and burn them onto the disk too. I then went back to work and installed that one. It looked like it was going to work at first since the program finally recognized it as being "online," but when I hit to print a test ticket, it just gave me an error that said the printer was out of paper. The printer was not out of paper and I had done a self-test on the printer and it had printed, so it WAS working, and did have paper. By that time it was too late to call back the support guy since he was on the East coast, so I called the West coast number, which was for sales, hoping they'd be able to help. They weren't. The guy said the best that could be done was for me to call early Wednesday morning to talk to the support guy again. *sigh*
I came home after all of that, ready for a nice, relaxing evening. However, when I called Brian J. to tell him that we still weren't going to be able to pre-sale Star Wars tickets, he said he wasn't working. What you have to understand now is that he and I are the only ones who know how to thread the projector. Josh is learning, but he makes mistakes every time, so we have to check it. Well, neither Brian J. nor I were scheduled to work, and Josh was scheduled to open/close. Therefore, I had to drive down to work for a whoppin' 5 or 6 minutes just to check the projector so that nothing got messed up. Josh had made one loop too big, but it probably would not have been too big of a deal. Still good that I checked though, and at least I got paid for an hour since I had to go down there just for that. lol
Yesterday morning I woke up early and went down to the theatre. I got there and tried to get the printer working with the software on my own for a bit before calling the support guy again. When I talked to him the first time, I had tried to explain to him that we had an adaptor to get the serial cable into our computer via USB. However, I could not remember the word "adaptor" and apparently did not explain it properly. When he kept saying that the tickets should be printing with the settings I had already setup, I asked him if he thought it was a problem with our hook-up and he goes, "oh, you have an adaptor?" I'm thinking in my head, yes, that's the word I was looking for, but said allowed, "Yes." So, it turns out, I really didn't need any of the drivers at all. I just had to change one tiny config setting and treat it like it was connected directly into the computer, and then it worked! lmao Figures. But at least it was happy news that the printer was finally working and we could start selling tickets for Star Wars, even though it was only one day early. lol
Once I got that working, I headed of to pick-up Star Wars from the depot place. I had never gone there before, so Josh wrote up directions for me. They were pretty good until I got close to the place, and then I had some fun driving around for a while before I finally found the right building. lol At least I found it though, and I got the movie, so I headed back to the theatre, which was the easier part of the journey. lol
Right after I pulled up to the theatre, my mom pulled up next to me! lol She was coming back from lunch with one of her friends and thought she'd stop and say hello. :) It was a double good thing too, because then she was able to help me carry the movie upstairs. One reel of film is not that heavy, but when there are seven in one giant box, it's a whole other story. lol If my mom hadn't been there, I would have taken the reels one at a time into the theatre and up to the projection book. lmao So, it was quite nice that God had her stop by just then. ;) Yay God! :D
My mom left and then I opened up the box with the movie reels as well as the one reel container they'd given us to go along with it. Apparently they'd just put trailers in that one. I was looking through them to see if there was one that I'd want to put on the movie, and there was one for The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe!!! :D *dances* I was way excited and totally had to put that one on the movie! lmao It was good timing when I finished the movie as well, because Nate and Brian J. both showed up then, so I showed them how to work the new ticket software so that they could start pre-selling Star Wars tickets that night.
After all of that was done, I came home and ate and relaxed for a sort period of time before trying to write a few more pages of the story I had started the other day. I wrote straight up to the last minute, printed it out, and then rushed to pick up Tammy and head off to class. Woo, it was crazy! lol On the up side though, everyone liked what I'd written and thought it was of better quality than my previous pieces I'd brought in. They kept telling me I brushed over too many things too quickly, so I purposely tried not to do that with what I was writing yesterday, and it worked pretty good. Of course, parts of it need to be changed, but it's pretty decent for being written so quickly and the fact that I hadn't read over it at all. lol
Once class was over I took Tammy home and then went back to the theatre (see a pattern?) to run through Episode III. Zach, Brian J., Nate, and Nate's girlfriend came to watch it as well. I have to say that I enjoyed the movie quite a bit more the second time through. Also, I noticed that it wasn't so much that the robots speak in "slang," they just say things that they shouldn't like, "That's a Jedi fighter alright." "Alright?" And one of them says "Excuse me" and "You're welcome." Not what they've ever said before. *rolls eyes* Whatever. I think many who didn't like the acting in the previous one will notice quite the improvement though. I'm never good at judging that kind of thing though. *shrugs* So, the movie was good, but I praise God that I had already seen it before because the others were rather loud and annoying through the movie. I didn't mind too terribly much since I'd already seen it, but I told them they were terrible people to watch a movie with. Afterwards, Nate and his girlfriend both said they thought it sucked. I don't think it's the best movie ever created, but it certainly does not suck. It's quite good. Whatever. Then, I was asking at least one of them who had come to stay an extra ten minutes to wait for me to shut down the projector once the credits had finished. Brian J. kind of ticked me off because he said, "why?!" in quite the derogitory manor, like I was being stupid or something. I replied, "So that I don't have to be here all by myself at one in the morning." He agreed to stay, even though it was obvious he didn't want to. That rather hurt me because what is ten minutes to making sure that I get out of the theatre and into my car okay in the middle of the night? Just because they don't hear about bad things happening in our town, does not mean they don't. I have heard more than enough to make me wary ANYWHERE I go. It ticks me off they that are so nieve and unaware of the things that can happen in this world. It was like when my friends used to always make fun of me for wanting the car doors locked at all times. They said that no one was going to open the car door while we were on the freeway. I said, what about when we're sitting at the end of the exit ramp, or stopped at a stoplight. It has happened people! Freaky, evil people have opened someone's door while they were stopped for a moment, got in, and held a gun to their heads! Forgive me for knowing that if the door is locked, that will most likely disuade them (at least some), and then that gives you a darn good chance to drive away. *sigh* I suppose I've ranted enough.
And now that brings us to today. I get to (guess what!) go to work in less than an hour, and it could possibly be rather crazy since we're opening Star Wars today. It's really hard to say though. I'm rather turned off of work at the moment, but at lesat I'm feeling better now than I did last night. Anyway, that's pretty much about it. Oh, except that yesterday, on the way back from getting the movie, I stopped at Michael's craft store and got a wax seal stamper with an "S" on it for Sam, and I also got myself one with a rose ingraved in it and some gold wax to go with the silver I bought last time. I know another place too that has a lot more different colors of wax to choose from, so whenever I go out that way, I'll probably get some more. lol Now I just need to find ways to write lots of letters so that I can use them. ;) TTFN!

Saturday I woke up early to go shopping with Tammy. Our mission was to go out and find bridal shower gifts for Ran. Apparently the theme for the shower is "date night," so we were supposed to buy gifts to "keep the couple dating." lol Tammy and I came up with lots of great ideas and successfully have found and purchased most of them already. Let's see, we got them a blanket and s'mores stuff, kitchen aprons and some other things to go with that for the two of them to cook together, and some bath stuff. lmao We found online bride and groom rubber duckies, so I'm going to order those tonight or tomorrow! Hahaha! Oh, and my favorite thing we got for them, I also got for myself. lol I'm sure I think it's a lot cooler than they will, but hopfully they'll use it a few times. I've been looking for a nice wax seal stamp for myself for ages and I thought that would be something to get them as well, and Tammy agreed. So, we were not having luck finding one, but decided to go to Michael's craft store even though neither of us thought they'd have anything. However, they had just gotten in new ones that were quite nice! So we got them a monogram "M" for their last name and some red wax. I couldn't decide between an "H" and the letter for my last name, so I got them both since they were only $4.99 each!! All the other ones I have been seeing are $12 or even more. What a deal! lol I also got myself some silver wax and had a little fun before I finally figured out how to use it properly. lol I'm contemplating going back to get one of the design ones they had, too. They only had a few, and I don't know if I really want them, but I'd like to go look again, and I'd like to get some other colors of wax. And, to go along with my new wax seal stuff, I got a calligraphy pen with changable nibs and an ink well. :) Now I get to practice a lot. ;) lol So yeah, that was fun.
Now I must be cutting my entry a bit shorter than I had planned in order to get ready for work. The new ticket stock for our new printer and software finally came today, so I've got to get it setup and working so we can start doing pre-sales for Star Wars. Apparently we probably won't be able to get the print until Wednesday afternoon, but I'll probably call tomorrow to see if it's ready early, just in case. Wednesday might end up working better for me though, anyway, but we'll see. Right, so now I must sign off and get out of my PJs and into proper clothes. lol Ta!

I got up at a half-decent time this morning and went down to the theatre to build and watch The Interpreter. It was pretty good, but I would not call it a thriller. That's what they're classifying it as, but to me it's more like a mystery/drama thing. There was only one part that got me on edge, and I think it's just because if that happened to me (I hope and pray it never does, and not to anyone else either) I'd be way freaked out! *shivers* Okay... no more thinking about that. lol It was all right though, and I felt entertained. The end seemed to be missing something though. When it was over I felt like they didn't say or explain something that they should have. It was all right though.
Now, backtracking a bit... Tuesday I went shopping with my mom. I got two books, this cute little dog tag thing with a star on it from Claire's, and a few other things I'd been hoping to find, so that was nice. :) We had lunch as well, and I got some ice cream from Baskin Robins. When I was starting to eat my scoop of chocolate chip while my mom paid, I noticed they had this special flavor of ice cream that was honey flavored ice cream with chocolate covered honeycomb pieces in it. I was all like, "oooh..." and the guy asked me if I wanted to try some. I was thinking no at first, that I'd just come back another day and ask for a test spoon, but then I thought, what the hey, and said, "I think I have to." ;) lol It was rather tasty. *licks lips* Now I'm thinking I'll have to go by there some time this weekend and get a whole scoop or something.
I also went to Blockbuster to see if they had a copy of the Disney Channel original movie Kim Possible: So The Drama. Normally, I wouldn't go there, I'd just get it at the grocery story, but they didn't have it since it's not a big title or anything. I was all excited when I went in to Blockbuster and saw it on the shelf though! I took the case up to the front and said that I didn't have a card, but I wanted to rent that, so I supposed I needed to sign up for one. The guy asked me if I was 18 or over and I had to think about it for a second. lmao I'll be all like 40 and still think I'm 18. *shakes head* Silly me. Anyway, back to the story. I filled out the sheet and had to wait a bit while the guy made me a card and everything. Then, he tells me that he has to check and see if they have a copy of the DVD in. I was thinking to myself that they should since the case was over on the wall. However, it'd been so long since I'd been to Blockbuster that I forgot their thing is to stash the actual DVDs behind the cases, unline the grocery store where you just grab the case and take it to them to pay and they give you the DVD or VHS. So, of course, after I'd spent a fair amount of time in there waiting, then filling out the form, then waiting some more, the guy told me they didn't have any copies in. Grr. That DVD was the only reason I went in there and got a card! lol Afterward I was like, why couldn't he have told me that in the first place? *shakes head* I'll let him off the hook since there was no one else out there and he had lots to do. Plus, now I've got the card for whenever they finally do have it there and I can rent it. I was so looking forward to watching it too! I would have watched it on Disney Channel, but it was on while I was in California and I forgot to tape it. Figures the one I really wanted to see is the one they only play once. *rolls eyes*
Yesterday was writing class day. I didn't have anything to bring. I didn't figure I'd need to either since we were having independent editors coming in to speak with us for a good chunk of the class. Good thing I didn't end up having to read, but it seemed like no one else really wanted to read either, though some of them did anyway. lol Oops. ;) I must write something good to bring in for this next class time though or I'm in trouble, mostly with myself. lol Anyway, I'll be off now since I'm not feeling entirely chipper and healthy. You know, just a lovely headache. ;) Nighty night!

Ugh, my head is not happy. First off, I need sleep, but now stress issues have been added to the mix and that's why the head is aching. Of course, I could remedy it right now if I would just flippin' go to bed. However, as you can see, I've decided to blog first. I must be crazy.
I stayed up WAY late last night working on a layout for 2ka0tic.com. It's featuring Batman Begins images, and I very much like how it came out. Yeah, it's not up yet. Gotta get site content and a layout or two more done first. I'm skinning that site. :) Yay skins! They're fun. I'm hoping to do a nice Obi-Wan/Ep. III layout for it as well. Haven't started on that one yet though. Anyway, moving on...
I woke up before nine this morning so I could take a shower and get ready in time before going to Tammy's around ten. Tammy, Aowyn, and I went to the mall and walked around for a while, etc. I went to the Apple store and tried to ask one of the dudes if I really have to have Service Pack 2 for XP to be able to get music from my laptop to an iPod Mini, and the guy looked at me like I was crazy or something. Basically, he said that I do, but I don't think he knew what he was talking about. He asked me why I didn't want Service Pack 2 on my computer. I'm thinking in my head, "Duh, because it's the spawn of the Evil One and will crap the heck out of my computer with all it's needless, extra junk." I know there are others who don't like XP, and who REALLY don't like the SP2. I'm dealing with normal XP, but I don't know what will happen if I ever need a new computer again... not unless they release a new Windows with less crap. But yeah, so that trip into the Apple store where I felt quite awkward, and no one came and asked me if I wanted help (I had to go find someone to ask about the thing), was totally fruitless. *rolls eyes* Oh well.
However, the trip to the mall did end up being rather fruitful, actually. Tammy asked me what I was going to wear to Ran's wedding in July, and I'm all like, "I don't know..." I hadn't really been thinking about it. I mean, I knew I needed to get something a bit dressy, since I didn't really have anything, but I hadn't thought about what. So, at Mariposa I found this cute pink blouse with fun frills hanging down one side and stuff. I tried it on, and it looked pretty decent, so for $24 I decided to get it. :) Tammy's lending me a pair of her black pin-stripe pants to go with it. I might try and find a skirt, but that depends on if I start feeling comfortable with my legs again or not. ;) lol
We left the mall and had fun trying to find Tammy's bank. We went the wrong way a few times at first, but then we found it. Yay adventure! Only bummer was that when we were almost back to her house, she realized she left her cell phone on the counter at the bank. Oops. She managed to call and get a hold of them though and they have it so she can go pick it up later. That was good. :) Then Tammy made us Mac n' Cheese for lunch, she put Aowyn down for her nap, and then we got online and looked for wedding gifts for Ran. We got some very good ideas, and we're probably going to end up getting her joint gifts from the both of us. We've got to get gifts for the bridal shower and for the wedding. Good thing Tammy knows about that stuff, because I would have been rather lost. lol
So, that all was good, and my time at home before work was good. It seemed that work would be okay as well, despite that I was feeling quite tired, until it was time for the boys to show up for work, and neither of them came.
It was five minutes after they were supposed to be there, and I thought it odd that neither of them had shown up. I would have thought only one of them would be late or something, but it was rather odd for it to be both. I kept getting things ready, hoping they'd get there shortly. Fifteen minutes after they were supposed to be there, I called home to get Josh's cell number to call him and see why he wasn't there. I would have called Charlie too, but his number's not listed on our sheet, so I couldn't. Josh's isn't either, but since I've had to call him a few time to have him come down and learn how to build movies, I had his written down at home. So, I called Josh and he said he wasn't supposed to work today. I had just looked at the schedule before I went to work, and I was pretty darn sure he was supposed to. I hung up with him and looked online to see, and sure enough, it said that he was supposed to work. Both him and Charlie. So, I called him back, and at that point I was rather upset at being left all alone at work with the possibility of customers showing up any minute, and told him to come down in not the nicest mannor. I didn't cuss or scream or anything, but I'm sure he could tell I was unhappy. When I went down stairs a few minutes later after threading the projector, praise God, Charlie was waiting to be let in! I was thinking, "Wow, Josh got a hold of Charlie real fast." Apparently that was not the case though. Charlie knew he was supposed to work, but had no ride to get there until a half an hour after he was supposed to show up. He didn't call because he didn't know my cell, but I was kinda thinking, why couldn't he have called our boss because she knows my cell number?! Whatever. Customers were there when I let him in too, so that was fun. At least it wasn't too many and it all worked out okay. I was in quite the sour mood, though. I wasn't really mad at either of them, because it was my boss's fault, but neither of them handled it very well so I wasn't exactly happy with them. Why is it my boss's fault? Because when she originally made the schedule two weeks ago, she only scheduled me to work today. Of course, that was the one that Josh printed out, and he never looked again to see if there were any changes. Charlie had also thought he wasn't supposed to work today until shortly before he was supposed to be there. That all gave me a nice stress-related headache, and I really wanted to cry, but customers were coming and no way in heck was I going to let Josh or Charlie see me cry. They'd just be jerks about it and piss me off.
Whew. Felt rather nice to get that out. Now I really should be getting to sleep though. I'd like to get up before noon, but I might be too backlogged and need more sleep than that time will afford me. I must try though because I'd like to get some things accomplished tomorrow. Anyway, nighty night.

I was up very late last night, but I was being productive, at least. ;) I worked for a while on my layout portfolio. I added a section in the past sites area called single layouts. It's for all the layouts of sites that only ever had one layout. There are four up there right now, and one of them might interest some of you. I put up the layout from 2kaotic, my former Nick Carter TCG, and I even included EVERY card that I had for the site, plus some that had never been released when the site was open. :) I thought someone might think it was cool. lmao Could be wrong though. ;)
And last night I also worked on moving all of my fanlistings... again. I was changing the files on my comp. last night, and then I uploaded and notified everyone of the new URLs this morning. Why was I actually awake this morning if I was up till around 4 AM? Because Tammy called me. It was good though because otherwise I probably would have slept right up until the time I have to leave for work, and perhaps this way I will get back into a better sleeping pattern. Unfortunately, I don't know that that's all to likely. *shrugs* Oh well! I shall just have to try my best. Anyway, it was good that I got the fanlistings moved. I decided that the domain I had just recently moved them to was not needed, and that I should get rid of it. So, I moved the fanlistings to a domain which I will be putting back up online whenever I get around to it. I have a cool idea for a layout for it featuring images from the upcoming Batman Begins, so we'll see if I can manage to get it to look cool like it does in my head. Heh. ;) Well, I shall be off now. I should probably eat something before I go to work. Ta ta!

Okay, so I really must try and make this quick since I need to write for my class tonight, and don't have the most time ever to do so. ;) lol I wanted to let you all know about how Star Wars III is though. I shall try to keep spoilers to a minimum, and really, we all sort of know the plot anyway. Yes people, Anakin does become Darth Vader! lmao Here I go.
The beginning scene starts out way to slow for me. I also noticed that the beginning text was written in a rather different style than the others, and maybe it's just me, but I thought I could have done better and I wonder if they got a new guy to write it. ;) lol Anyway, when we first see Anakin and Obi-Wan in the opening scene, their characters seem different. I realize this is a fair amount of time that has elapsed between the end of the second episode and the beginning of this one, but it was just a little off to me. There are some rather humorous bits with R2-D2 though, I must say. lol The droids speak differently though. I forget what one of the "roger" ones said, but it was way too human slang and so very outside of their vocabulary. Oh, and one of them said "excuse me" and "you're welcome." It was just wrong man, wrong. Some of the angst in Anakin is not well portrayed though, and it's not the actor's fault. I actually think they should have made the movie longer. It was only about two hours and fifteen minutes, and just when I was feeling in the groove with it, it was over! I mean, the ending makes sense, and I like it, but they should have put more in before it. It will make more sense when you see it, or so I hope. ;) However, once you get past the first couple of scenes, it gets much better, and they did do a good job explaining everything that needed to be explained. You know, how they discovered the Chancellor was the Dark Lord of the Sith, how all the Jedi save for Obi-Wan, Yoda, Anakin (who's technically no longer a Jedi, really), and Luke and Leia weren't killed, and how Anakin got to the point of needing the Vader suit, and let me just say about that... OW! lol I see why it was rated PG-13, mostly because of that scene I think. lol And, some people are going to hate me for saying this, but the most lovely thing about the movie was pretty, pretty Obi-Wan. :D I was all sittin' there thinking, "Ugh, Obi, let your pretty pretty golden light brown hair fall in a big chunk obscuring your eye again, because it's so lovely." lmao I couldn't help it! I mean, have you seen Ewan McGregor people? Need I really say more? And, for those of you that cought it in the battle sceen on Geonosis in Ep. II when his hair was all messed up right after he slayed the big green creature with his light sabre (I think that's the right part)... lots of prettiness like that in Ep. III baby! ;) So, it was not the greatest movie of all time, but I'm sure I'll be watching it again, and I will buy it, and I did quite enjoy it. Just don't go in with too high of expectations and you should be good. :)
