The projector is having a mid-life crisis. Yup. On the up side, the whole thing with the print for War of the Worlds looking half flat and half scope is not a problem. It plays just fine and you can't tell at any point in the movie. Not sure why, but I'm glad. Heh. On the not-so-up side, the projector is having a mid-life crisis. When I ran through the movie yesterday morning, it stopped an hour and a half through it. I started it back up manually, and then made sure to turn off everything when I left in the hopes it would reset itself somewhat and not have an issue for the first showing in which there would actually be customers watching. No such luck. An hour and a half through, it stopped. *rolls eyes* I'm like a pro now at getting it started up manually though, and got it going real quick. It's a pain in the butt though because I've got to make sure I'm up there at the end of the print to turn off everything instead of it just doing that on it's own. I thought it was going to do it again for the later show, but then when Brian K. called me back on my cell phone and I was telling him about it to see if that had ever happened while he was working there, he had me go in to the projection booth to check something, and it looked like the projector was going to behave itself. *throws hands up in the air* That would be nice. I wasn't there to see though, so I'll find out from Curtis today if it went all right and didn't stop. I hope that's the case, and then I shall sing extra praises to God. :D

In other news, SG-1 was better last night, and I had to catch myself because for a moment I almost liked Vala. *shudders* Poor Daniel cried when she got torched. Don't know what's going to happen next, but I suppose I'm going to have to be okay with her as it seems she'll be on the series some more. Atlantis was pretty good as well. Kind of a filler episode, but had some good scenes from their trip to Earth that I enjoyed. :) I still want to know what's going to happen to poor Aiden Ford though! lol

All right, it sounds like my laundry is done, so I'd best be off. Got to get ready for work. Oh joy. lol Ta ta!

Arrggghh!! Holly wants book seven!!!

As you may have guessed, I'm done reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Actually, I just finished it a few minutes ago. Technically I should be asleep, but I was so close and had to continue. Here is your fair WARNING. I am not going to be able to keep spoilers out of this, so skip past the rest of this paragraph. Anyway, I wasn't entirely shocked to find out who the Half-Blood Prince is, however I didn't exactly see it coming either. I'm craving to know why the Horcrux that Harry and Dumbledore found was fake, how R.A.B. got the real one, and especially who R.A.B. is. That is most what I want to know. And I knew it was coming, before it happened, that Albus would die. But I didn't cry then. It was too simple that Snape performed the killing curse on him. I still wonder if he is truly gone. I can think of ways that he wouldn't really be dead. I'm still waiting for Sirius to come back too. I did, however, cry when Fawkes started singing his lament. Poor Fawkes. I was hoping he would turn to Harry and become his. I suppose that is still possible, but I am not the author of the series and cannot do as I would wish for the seventh novel. I suppose that is all I shall say on Harry Potter for now.

It is now SAFE for those of you who skipped the above paragraph to read. I realize that my blog will say this entry was written on Friday the 22nd (Happy b-day Tammy!), but as I am still awake, I will continue to write as if it is Thursday the 21st. So, today I went and picked up War of the Worlds from the depot. Had fun finding a bathroom in that area after I got the print too. lol Managed though. ;) I made it back, got some lunch, then headed to the theatre were I proceeded to eat my lunch, then get to work building the movie. It was really weird. I totally thought the movie would be in scope since movies I consider similar in nature would normally be in that format. However, the paper in the box said that FLAT previews were attached. I was like, huh? Sure enough, I get started putting the first reel of the movie on after the previews and it looks flat. Then, I get to the end of the reel, and it looks scope. That was the first time I have EVER seen it change. So then I started to wonder what the movie was in, flat or scope? And then the strange occurance continued and the reels were mixed flat and scope frames. Let me try and explain. On the film print, when the movie is flat, the images look normal and there are significantly sized black bars on either side of each frame. When the print is scope, the images fill up the frames completely, leaving only tiny black lines as borders, and the images are stretched and distorted. The reels for War of the Worlds have both. I am confused. So, we shall see when I run it tomorrow if it plays okay. Someone else had the print before us, so I would assume they would have said something if it didn't work or had problems. Apparently it's supposed to run in flat. We'll see...

That's mostly of what I did today. I also got the fanlisting for "Just Want You To Know" by the Boys up. Just barely in time too, as my one month mark is the 22nd. lol And I was also good and worked more on the site I'm getting paid for. I think... that after I have a meeting with the lady I'm making it for to explain some things for her and make sure she knows how to update stuff, that I might actually be DONE. *shock* Could it be? I shall not count on it just yet though. ;)

Yesterday afternoon I accompanied my mom on errands. She dropped me off at Barnes & Noble while she went to Home Depot, etc. AKA, places I would be bored at. lol I went a little crazy at B & N and bought 4 books. Normally it's just one or two. lol I almost bought five, but decided it was too expensive from them at the store, and I'll try online. Found it for quite a bit cheaper at Amazon.com, so I'll eventually order it from there; gotta find something else to get first though so that I can get the free shipping. ;) lol Anyway, I got three fantasy novels which are: A Secret Atlas by Michael A Stackpole (it's about cartographers... cool!) which I had looked at last time I was there, A Brother's Price by Wen Spencer, and Furies of Calderon by Jim Butcher. And then, I found Writer's Little Instruction Book: Inspiration & Motivation from Writer's Digest Books by Paul Raymond Martin. It's filled with little notes and quotes by some people, etc. Some I find quite funny, and for nine bucks, I thought it might spark me into writing when I don't feel like it. Haven't had the chance to try it out though as I've been trying to finishe HP. lol And now that I'm done with HP, I shall start on the four-book series I got off of Amazon a month or two ago, but didn't start because I was still working on Fitzpatrick's War. lol I am thinking now, that I should start writing reviews on some of these books I'm reading and have a section here on them, or a mini-site. We'll see if I actually go through with it though. Heh. ;)

Well, I must be getting up rather early in the morning, then I'll be working most of the day, so I should be off now. Hopefully tomorrow's Stargate episodes will both be good. Part two of the SG-1 one looked more promising than the first, and the Atlantis one looks interesting. I won't get home until half-way through SG-1, but we're taping them all, as usual. ;) So yes, I must go to sleep now. Hopefully that's actually what I do after hitting post because it's quite possible I could sidetrack myself with further computer-related things. *sigh* Good-night all.

"U-NO-POO!" lmao Fred and George Weasley are geniuses!!! Hahaha! I also thought the "Patented Daydream Charms" were humorous as well. ;) Those of you also reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will know what I'm talking about. lol I am currently in the midst of chapter 12. You know, I went to a wedding yesterday, and I had to work today. Sometimes I sort of have a life and cannot devote entire days to reading, unfortunately. Heh. Anyway, I am thus far enjoying Book 6 and am curious as to whom the Half-Blood Prince will turn out to be. I have a few suspicions/ideas, but nothing that seems really right to me yet. So yes, no one tell me anything about the rest of the book! lol

So, before I talk about the wedding yesterday, I shall mention Friday. I had to go in to work to fax in a report, so I dropped by the store to rent a video on my way home and get some groceries. I rended Bride and Prejudice. I just thought the title was a spin-off, but it turns out the whole movie was. I knew when the guys' name was Darcey. *rolls eyes* Anyway, then it turned out to half be a musical. Yes, only half. lol Just a few songs in the first half, then one at the very end. Odd, really. It was still all right to watch just once. ;) Then, of course, in the evening I watched the season premieres for Stargate SG-1 season nine, and Stargate Atlantis season two. I must say that I was dissapointed in the SG-1 episode. It was so not a good season opener. If it had been later in the season, it wouldn't have been so bad. My hope is that part two of it will be better this coming Friday. Atlantis was much better. I'm so worried about Aiden though! He's addicted to the Wraith enzyme and has stolen and Jumper and gone to who-knows-what planet! It was scary! So yes, that one I liked much better. :) After the shows were over, I stayed up rather late wrapping the presents, then being stupid and lingering online for way too long. Oy me. lol

Saturday morning I actually managed to get up and out of bed on time when I was supposed to! I took a shower, then thought I had more time than I really did, and, incidentaly, was late getting over to Tammy's house. Didn't cause any problems though, which was good. Tammy put my hair in curlers and I watched the news for a while. lol Then I got dressed in my outfit for the wedding, and we took out the curlers, and Tammy sprayed hairspray in my eye. lmao My eye was closed at least, so I got it washed off easy and it didn't cause any burning. When we were done getting ready, we set off for the wedding.

I passed the driveway for the place, but turned around and got us there a bit early. I was calling my mom and trying to get my things out of the back of the car when Tammy went off and ditched me. Arg. Two girls from the bachelorette party parked the same time we did, and Tammy said she was going to start walking with them. I was a bit peeved. Anyway, I managed to walk up the path, and stairs, in my heels (keep in mind this is my first pair of the things and the first time I've worn them out of the house) without tripping and hurting myself. Woo! All the while carrying the presents too! lol Then, I got up onto the deck at the back of the place (where the path led to; also the place was a manor house), and was about to walk through the door when one of the guys standing with the groomsmen was all like, "Hi Holly." I stopped and said, "Hi, how are you?" and then recocognized that it was the groom! lmao Then I'm all like, "happy, I hope." I know, I'm a dork, but I didn't expect him to be standing there, nor that he would say hello to me. See, I've only met him a few times, so I was kind of surprised he remembered me. lol He seems like a really nice guy though. :)

Anyhoo, I found where to put the presents, then got directions to the bathroom. lol It was a REALLY nice bathroom. lol Probably the nicest bathroom I've ever been in. lmao Anyway, I went and sat by Tammy after that and we waited for the wedding to start. They started late, but I figured that was possible since they'd want to make sure everyone was there before they started. I told myself I might let my eyes water toward the end of the ceremony, but as soon as Ran started walking down the aisle, I started crying! lol Not rolling tears or anything, but my eyes were definately watering. She looked lovely, of course, and I was just so happy! lol It was kind of weird though, because the pastor (or whatever you want to call him) started off by saying some jokes once Ran reached Jared (the groom) at the end of the aisle. I was like... "okay." lol The ceremony was rather shorter than I thought it would be too, but it was good, and when it came time for them to kiss, Jared said "come here" and grabbed her. lmao And then they were officially married. Yay!! *happy*

It was supposed to be an outside ceremony, but the weather wasn't looking so good, so they had moved it outside at the last minute. That being said, we all had to hussle out after the ceremony was done so they could put up tables. ;) I just followed Tammy and she ran into Ran, so she said congrats, and Jared walked up and I told him congrats and gave him a hug, then did the same to Ran while telling her I cried. lol She said she did too though, so I wasn't the only one. ;) Tammy didn't congratulate Jared though. She just walked off and I had to run after her! lol I should mention Tammy was PMSing, so she was a bit cranky. Anyway, her and I waited on the deck and talked amongst each other for a bit before the tables were ready. Then we ended up being the first in the procession line and congratulated Ran and Jared again (and Tammy again did not congratulate him), then went straight to the food. lol Tammy staked out the table right by the cake. Good spot. It's all kind of funny though because we were all watching the wedding party at their long table eating. lol I bet they felt funny. It came time for toasts, and there was some laughter. :) Then I can't remember if the dance came first or the cutting of the cake. I'm thinking it was cake, so that's what I'll go with.

They cut the cake right in front of us, so we had a good view for pictures. lol Ran held up the knife with a fake menacing look, so that was funny. Then she licked it, then Jared proceeded to lick the serving spade... thing. lol Someone yelled out that they had to wash the utencils now or else we'd all have Jared germs on our cake. lol Then they each took a piece of the cake to feed to each other. Aww... Jared fake moved like he was going to smear it in Ran's face... then a few moments later, he did! lol It was funny. Ran got him back, but only a little. I guess she's just too nice. ;)

Then came the first dance, which of course was very cute. Then there was the father-daughter dance, which was funny. lol Ran's dad has always been very comical, so I was not surprised. It was good though, and we all had a nice laugh together. Then there was the mother-son dance, and Ran joined in with them the last part so the three of them were huddled together dancing. It was a little interesting looking, but cute.

It was shortly after that that Tammy and I left. She needed to get home and was still not feeling wonderful. It's good though, because I didn't want to stand with all the other girls to "try" and catch the bouquet anyway. lol I don't want to catch one! lol Not for quite a while yet anyway. Tammy was joking that I should, but having never had a boyfriend yet, it would be far to scary to catch the bouquet which is supposed to mean you will get married next. Nah, I don't think so, thanks. ;) Anyway, we said bye and congrats again, and again Tammy did not congratulate Jared. Thinking about it, Tammy probably felt awkward. She'd met him less times than I had. However, my thinking of it was that he married my friend so he's sort of my friend now too! lol Plus, the first time I told him congrats, he initiated the hug, so I didn't feel odd about not really knowing him and congratulating him, etc. In closing on this subject, it was a very lovely wedding and I wish Ran and Jared the very best and a long life together. :) They are so very cute together.

When I got home, HP was waiting on my bed for me. I actually didn't start reading it until later in the evening though. Don't ask me why. I supposed I felt obligated to get some other things done before I delved into it. I shall be needing to not read non-stop still, too as there are other things that I ought to be doing as well. I don't really remember what else I did yesterday except watch Timeline before I started reading. lol I did some website work (as my obligation aforementioned).

Today has been fairly predictable. We went to church in the morning, but I confess I did not pay a whole lot of attention. Bad me. The message didn't particularly interest me, but I should have paid better attention anyway. After that I came home for a while, read a chapter of HP, then went off to work. After the first show started, I read. lol Then I had to stop to clean and get ready for the next show, then read some more while waiting for customers to come. Once the second movie started, I read up until it was over. lol Then I got to come home. Wee! When I got here, I e-mailed my boss about some stuff, then set to writing this. It's taken me about a half an hour to write this. lol It's either really long, or I'm slow to write my thoughts. I hope it's the first. lol Though, I have noticed that when I'm working on my fiction, it tends to take a while to get small bits done. Don't know if I can fix that, or if it's just the way I do things. Anyway, I'm off now to read more HP before calling it a night. I've gotta get up at a decent time in the morning to prepare myself to enter the contest at the BSB fan club. lol Night night!

This morning I got up early and met Tammy down in town. We then carpooled to In Spa to get our pedicures. It was my first time getting one, and I've not had a manicure either, so it was a new experiance. They got started on my feet first and Tammy had to wait about fifteen minutes before another lady was available to start on her. So, I didn't have her to chat with for that whole time. The lady who did my nails was very nice though and I chatted a little with her. Some people are just really good at striking up conversations with total strangers, but I am not. lol Anyway, the best part was the foot massage. Ahh... my feet were quite happy to have that. Holy cow though, it was over $40! Yipes! That's like nothing for techy stuff to me, but for nails, it seems like a lot of money. lol

When we were finished, we went over to Fred Meyer because I was silly and did not thing to wear sandles, so I had to get some. lol They had these complimentry ones, but they so did not fit my feet. lol I wear size 10-11, and these were not made for that. lol The front part was extra big too, and so when I walked it kept folding under and I thought I was going to trip and seriously hurt myself. Not good. lol So, I paid three bucks for some flip flops that I will probably never wear again. Oh well.

From there we drove over to Michaels and I got another new wax seal stamp for myself, and an initial one for Tammy. :) I know, I'm weird, but I think they're cool! I also got three new bandanas because they were all 50% off. Woo! Oh, and right before the check-out line, they had mini Care Bear cards for a buck, so I got those too. lol Then we went over to the theaters and saw my dad's work truck! We stopped and said hello, then made it just in time for the showing of Bewitched. Super cute movie. That was the second time I saw it. :)

After that we went and ate at Red Robin. My tummy was happy after that. ;) As we were driving over to the mall, Tammy's engine started to heat up though, so we had to turn on the heater. So not a good day for that as it was already rather hot. lol We went to Target and walked around some, then got water for her car. It wasn't low though, so we just drove out to Seattle with the heater on the whole way, the sun beating down upon us through the windows, and no releaf from having the windows down because there was traffic and we weren't moving fast enough to generate a breeze able to combat the heater. Yuck. lol However, we made it to the pool hall for Ran's bachelorette party on time. We were the first ones there.

The next person came almost a half an hour after we were all supposed to be there, then our hostess and the bride to be didn't get there until 45 minutes after Tammy and I had. Ooh fun. *rolls eyes* Oh well. We ordered food and chatted some once everyone had arrived (like around eight people total or something, so not crowded). When we were finished eating, we decided it was too expensive to play pool there, so we left and went to one of the girls' house that was nearby and rented The Notebook. It was my second time watching it, but I couldn't hold back the tears any longer when it got to the last 10-15 minutes. That's when it gets so sad. All in all, it was all right I guess. Oh, and how could I forget? When we were walking back from renting the movie, this guy yelled out his window as they were passing by, "have a great marriage!" LMAO Ran had on this cute magenta sash that said "Bride To Be," so that's how they knew. lol It was so funny, and it was good because it was a nice thing to say as opposed to the other possibilites. lol Then when we stopped a few buildings down to get Tammy coffee, these girls yelled congratulations out their window. lol It was cool. That was the best part. ;)

And now, here I am at home. My kitty boy is looking at me so cute like saying that he wants pets and to snuggle. So cute! So, I shall end with saying that I forgot to mention I finished reading Fitzpatrick's War by Theodore Judson while I was at work Tuesday night. It's definately a different way of writing a sci-fi story since it's written as an autobiography with fictional footnotes by a fictional editor at the bottom of many pages, but it's such an interesting view of what could happen, and how society is, etc. I really did enjoy it. And I wouldn't have thought that I would, but I found it intriguing and rather humorous at certain points. lol I would say that if you wanted, read the summery on the inside of the book jacket, and if that sounds interesting to you, read the book. ;) Anyway, I'm off. I have tomorrow off of work as well, and it's the season premeires of SG-1 and Atlantis! WOO!!! TTFN!

Yesterday I started coding the layout for the people who are paying me to re-do their site. Finally. lol I've got most of the layout coded and a few of the pages put together and working. I've just got to work a bit more on some of the templates in the script I'm using for it. They want to be able to update the text on the pages themselves, so I'm using a blog script for it. It's a little interesting, but hopefully it will end up working out well for the purpose. That was my accomplishment for yesterday. lol

This morning I went to the screening for Sky High. There was a really cool preview for an upcoming movie with Shia LaBuff in it called The Greatest Game Ever Played. He's a golfer, but it looks really good. lol The other previews all went fine and the beginning of the movie was going good, then everything started to get really dark on the screen. It was like, "what the heck?" lol The guy stopped it after it was almost completely dark and you couldn't see anything on the screen. One of the others there watching the movie went to try and help and then the projector guy came out to say that it wasn't a problem with the projector, the print was bad. It must have been developed incorrectly or something. Anyway, they re-started it and it got light after a minute or two and was just fine for the rest of the movie. Weird. But, as for the movie, it was very cute! So, if any of you are out and thinking of seeing a movie once it's released, go watch Sky High if you're in the mood for a feel-good movie with a happy ending where good triumphs over evil. Very good. :)

After the movie I went and had lunch with my friend Sarah. We had sandwiches and cookies and a good chat. Then we went over to the mall and walked and talked some more. I also go two new pairs of pants. One for $10 and one for $14! YAY! lol It's good that I got them too because most of my other ones are starting to show signs that holes shall be forming not too long from now. lol

Then, of course, I went to work. Fun, fun. ;) lol Tammy and I stayed at watched the movie. It was her first (and probably only) time, and my fourth to see Batman Begins. Wee! lol That's pretty much all I had to post. Tomorrow should be a full day. Who knows when I'll write again! lol Probably on Saturday evening at least. Night night!

So yesterday I signed up for the Backstreet Boys official fan club. Yup, shelled out $30 for it. I figured that eventually I would cave and just pay the money to join. It's like the same as the old one so far though. lol I mean, the layout is different, but same basic stuff, and really not that cool. Tori's been keeping me updated on if there was anything worth joining there, and there's a chance at sound check passes, so that's why I joined yesterday. *hugs Tori for being so kind as to keep her informed* Thus far the news is that there will only be 20 sound check passes, and you probably don't get to bring a guest. That does me no good if that's the case, because I'd be a major jerk to leave Tammy outside by herself. We'll see; nothing is for sure on it yet, and it's not like I'd manage to get one anyway, really. lol

I've been sort of busy the past week I guess. Been working a fair amount. I've had time to post, but just haven't been getting on my computer too much lately. I think I'm in some sort of off mood again. That and I'm just sick of working and waiting to hear back on this layout I'd better get paid well for. lol FINALLY I think they've decided the layout is good after tweaking it around 5 or 6 times. I think it looks ugly. Whatever. I'm just in a sour mood over it for having to change it so much, and then they call me saying it's urgent to get this or that done so that it can go online, but they take forever to e-mail me the info. Yeah, seems like it must be urgent. Hopefully I can get the dang thing finished in a week or so and not have to worry about it again. Then, perhaps, I'll feel up to working on my websites after that.

Friday was interesting at work. I got up early in the morning to go in and break down The Longest Yard. I didn't watch it. Didn't seem like my kind of movie. Anyway, when I finished that, I ran through Batman Begins. Man, I love that movie. lol I watched it again yesterday, so I've seen it three times so far, and am planning to watch it again. lol All went well, no problems with the movie. I got to go home for a little bit to eat, then went back to the theatre for regular work time. It was time to start the film, so I went and hit "run" on the projector. The light flashed, and then it stopped itself. I was like, "okaaayyy..." I hit the button again and it started going, but I noticed on the display panel that the program had reset itself and was now in 1 instead of 2!!!!! To help you understand why that's bad, it means that the movie would have projected squashed in from both sides, basically. Not good. So, I hit the stop button before anything had actually gone onto the screen. Then I pushed "Program > 2," but it would not change. Apparently, once it gets starting in a program, it has to stay in that one. Long story short, I called the projector guy, he told me how to override some things to get it to show correctly, and I started the movie about 15 minutes late. Half-way through the movie, Curtis, who was watching it with a friend, runs downstairs and says that the movie just stopped. Sure enough, he opened the auditorium door and the lights were on and the movie was not going. Great! lol I run up to the projector booth and there's an error on the panel. I called the guy again and after a while he finally understood what I was talking about and told me how to start the movie back up manually without the automation. I started it and it was off-frame because I had checked to make sure it wasn't a problem like we'd had previously where the projector jammed and burnt a hole through one of the frames. So, I stopped the movie again, put it back in frame, then started it again. lol It worked that time. *rolls eyes* So see, lots of fun. ;)

Saturday at work the projector was just fine, but the CO2 for the soda had to be changed, and it turns out that our wrench is missing! We couldn't get the seal to tighten enough and CO2 was leaking out of the tank. lol Josh drove to the hardware store, got a new wrench, and then we fixed it. So it's been a rather eventful weekend at work. Heh. I'm hoping tonight will not be at all eventful and I can just read my book while the movie is going.

Let's see, what else to write about? I'm going to Ran's bachelorette party on Thursday. Thank God, there should NOT be a striper, and if there is, I'm leaving. It's supposed to just be good girl fun. I hope so. lol It's at a pool hall, apparently. *raises eyebrow* But they also have arcade games and apparently very good food. lol

Wednesday I'm going to screen Sky High. It looks kinda cute. :) I might also screen Must Love Dogs because it's playing right after the other one, but I'm not sure yet. I'm just wondering if I want to spend my whole entire day watching movies because I'm also planning to watch Batman Begins again that night with Tammy. lol I have until tomorrow to decide. ;)

I guess that's it for now. Sorry there's not anything too terribly interesting going on here for you all to read about. I'll let you know if I get lucky and get a sound check pass. Yup, I think that's it. Ta!

Well, I've been somewhat productive thus far today. Oh, and a happy 4th to everyone else in the U.S. :) My dad gave me poppers the other day, and that's the extent of my plans for this evening. Probably will hang here and watch a movie and/or work on my computer or something. Anyway, I was somewhat productive because I got some updating done on the theatre website. Yay! I would work more on the never-ending project I'm doing for money, but they haven't gotten back to me about the 4th version of the layout I sent to them and I find it easier to get the HTML stuff setup after I've got the layout ready, don't ask me why.

My nose keeps running. Blarg. And I keep sneezing. Gar to allergies. lol

Wow, I honestly like have nothing else to write about. Well, nothing that I'm comfortable writing online or that's interesting in the least bit. Heh. If I was really good today, I'd write. Yes, perhaps I will try and force myself to do some freewriting or something and then see if I get in the mood to work on one of my stories. They all need attention and I've not been in the mood to write for a while. That writing class was supposed to help, and it did in some ways, but I think it also made me not want to write right now. Whatever. Anyway, I'm off to figure out something to do with myself. Everyone be safe with fireworks tonight! ;) Ta!

Guess what people! I caved and bought an iPod last night! lol I got a pink 6GB Mini. It's cute. I am currently transfering songs from my desktop to my laptop so that I can add them to iTunes and get them on the Mini. Oh, and the good news is, you don't actually have to have all the new service packs for XP to have your iPod work. *dances* If it wouldn't have worked without them, I would have taken it back to Target because I am NOT putting Service Pack 2 on my laptop. *shakes head vehemently* Nope, nope, nope. While at Target, I also got a DVD with older Disney cartoons on it. It has the "Mickey's Trailer" cartoon, so that's why I got it! lol So cute! Oh, and I got some awesome new paper for writing on. It's natural parchment and has 25% cotton fibers in it. Ooh... I can tell you all are totally jelous. ;) Now I just need to find people to write fancy letters to on my new paper with my calligraphy pen and then seal them with all of my cool wax sealing stuff.

Valerie and my Aunt both went back home to California yesterday. At different times, of course. ;) lol It was a nice visit with both of them. My poor Aunt ended up having a pinched nerve or something in her thigh and it was causing her a lot of pain in her leg and her back. :( We got some medicine for her Friday, and she just called a bit ago and says she's feeling a bit better at least. Hopefully she'll be all better soon.

On Thursday Tammy, Aowyn, Valerie, and I all went to the Woodland Park Zoo. I'm still not sure if I'd ever been there before or not. lol Some of it looked familar, but most of it wasn't. I may have and just can't remember it though. I think the zoos are all getting mixed up in my head. lol I brought my Digital Rebel XT with me and got some really good pictures of butterflies. They have a tent with a TON of the things in them and lots of flowers, so we went and walked around in there. Those were my best pictures because I was able to stick my lense really close to the subjects. Once I stop buying all sorts of other things (*cough*ipodmini*cough*), then I shall hopefully be able to afford a nice, pretty zoom lense and shall have better pictures at that point. I'm hoping to get my photo blog up pretty soon.

Speaking of new websites of mine, apparently most of you didn't notice that I finally re-launched 2ka0tic.com the other day. I would so love more comments in the guestbook there. The link is on the front page and everything! lol Well, I shall end this entry here as it is getting ever closer to work time (my first day working with Tammy!), and I want to put more songs on my iPod before I go. ;) TTFN!
