Last entry of this calendar year. Woah. lol It's actually weird to me that it's already 11:00. I guess five episodes of Stargate Atlantis really do make the time fly. ;) lol Yay for Atlantis marathon! Mommy and I have now finished re-watching the first season. *dances* Daddy even sat out there with us for quite a few of the episodes (though I don't think he really paid much attention to the show, lol). They did quite the number in cheering me up so that when I move on to the next subject I might actually just state it instead of rant about it. However, it's quite a rant-worthy thing, so I make absolutely no guarentee.

I may have previously mentioned that I had my mom write a note for our boss at the theater about our bonus checks. My mom's the one who prints that stuff, so it makes perfect sense for her to ask if she needs to print them and all, right? Anyway, my boss FINALLY came in for a while yesterday and it's just lucky that I got back with my dinner before she left because she hadn't even gone into the office and wasn't planning to. *rolls eyes* Apparently she came to make sure we had change for the weekend, but I just assumed she wouldn't show up and so I went ahead and got the change myself. But yeah, I slyly mentioned that my mom had some checks she wanted the boss to sign (which was totally true) and that she had written her a note about "something." Of course, I knew what it was about since I was the one who originally brought it up, but I didn't want to come right out and say it, especially with the other employees around. So, my boss went up stairs for a while.

Today, my mom came down before the movie was over to do some stuff. Just before the movie was finished, my mom came and told me she got an answer about the bonuses. My boss isn't giving us bonuses this year. Why? Because we didn't make as much profit as last year (which is true). However, the theater is not drowning and we only get $50 for our bonuses and there is enough money for that. Basically, she apparently just wants to keep the money for herself. I realize that $50 isn't all that much money, and I don't really need it. However, it's the thought behind it that counts. Every year I've worked there, I got a bonus. Even the first holiday season when I'd only been there for two months her late husband even gave me a $50 bonus because he was really generous like that. I suppose it's not fair to compare her and her late husband, but I still consider it rude that she's doing this. I really don't feel like a valued employee, and it would be in her best interest to make sure that I do since I do a fair amount of things there that no one else is able to right now unless she were to call in a former employee, but he's basically just for if there's some sort of serious reason that I'm not available. So yes, I feel that I have a justified reason for being irked over this. I almost feel used. She hardly ever comes down to the theater to do anything now. My mom and I are almost running the theater. She admitted to us at our last staff meeting that she hasn't been doing her part at the theater, and I thought that maybe that meant she would try harder, but apparently it means that she feels she doesn't have to bother now that she's at least told us. And when she came in yesterday she started spouting off all these things that needed to be done around the theater for us to do. Granted, she is the owner and the boss, but if she's not doing her job, I don't feel very compelled to do more than I have to for mine. That's probably not at all the right attitude (the Bible says I should work hard and do everything as I was doing it for God and no one else, so I guess, bad me), but it's hard not to feel that way.

Ah, what a happy post to end the calendar year with. lmao I am quite happy though. Like I said, all those Atlantis episodes really perked me up. Except that... *sniff* Groden died! I told my mom when we were leaving work earlier that I want to go work in Atlantis and help Rodney find a way to defeat the Wraith. I shall dedicate my work to dear Groden, and some of the others that the Wraith took in season one. Yes, I know, I'm crazy. But hey, it's fun, and it's not like I'm that crazy. ;) I'm also generally happy now for other reasons that are just sort of "because" reasons. I feel pretty good. Oh, I may have a semi-rant about the Boys at a later date, but for now I shall sign off. See you in the new year! :D

There hasn't been much going on the last couple of days. Mostly the usual. Hanging out at home or working. Today, though, my mom and I went out and saw Fun With Dick and Jane. It was funny! lol It was kind of bad though because they were stealing and they never got in trouble for it, but it was still so funny. It was one of those kind of things. lol I tell you though, I think Jim Carey gets better looking as the years go on. Seriously. Like, he was good looking in The Mask, but now he's like... better looking. Crazy, I know, but that's what it seems like to me. Did you know he was Canadian? lol Yay for Canadian boys! Apparently he's got U.S. citizenship now though. But yeah... he's got good hair. Moving on...

After the movie was over, mom put up with me going over to Barnes & Noble for a while. I used up all the gift card money I got from Kenny there. I bought two books and a CD of Burl Ives singing Christmas songs! He's the guy who's the voice of the snowman in the classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Raindeer stop-animated cartoon. :) I haven't listened to it yet, but I'm excited and I'm sure it will come in handy next Christmas and all. ;) lol And a quick side-note, speaking of books and whatnot, Sam and I are doing some work on the writing community we've been meaning to start since, like, the summer or something. lol Hopefully it will be up soon. :) The forums are all ready; we just need to get the main portion of the site setup. So yes, that's rather exciting.

When mom and I got back home from the movie and book store, we put in one of the Stargate Atlantis DVD and watched a couple episodes before my step-brother stopped by with his new girlfriend. She seems nice. Then mom and I were watching part two of the second episode, but she decided to go to sleep, so I just finished it. I do NOT like the Genii! Grr them! Sheppard loves Weir though... so cute! *giggles*

Merry Christmas everybody!!! :D I hope you're all having a wonderful day! My day has been lovely thus far. :) I got up at ten this morning and dumped out the contents of my stocking all over the floor. lol Then, I opened up the presents from under the tree and my parents opened up theirs. I didn't think anything could be better than the presents I opened last night. ;) lmao Anyway, in my stocking I got a bunch of candy, some Sharpie pens, sticky notes in the shape of an 'H', two different mini card decks (lol my parents each got one and didn't realize it, apparently), and the way cool Narnia necklace that I wanted (this one)! Oh yes, and also in my stocking was a recordable VHS tape, which will come in handy for the new seasons of Stargate that start in a couple weeks. :) The rest of my presents...

A little money and a few more gift cards.
A snowman liquid soap dispencer from my Aunt.
The Tenderhart Smart Check-Up Care Bear! lol YAY!
A Christian book.
A Care Bears 2006 calendar. YAY!
Sky High on DVD.
Pop Star on DVD.

I got all the stuff I asked for, plus some extra, so that was nice. :) My parents liked their gifts too, but it looks like the book on CD that I got my mom has two disk 3s and no disk 2, so I may have to contact Amazon about getting a replacement. Mom's going to try them both out to double check that they're the same. Almost thought I was going to have to exchange my Narnia Sheild necklace because the clasp was like glued closed. However, I whipped out the needle-nose pliars and once I got it open the first time, it seems to have fixed itself. :) My Tenderhard Smart Check-Up Care Bear is adorable! It's got seven different places you can push to make it say things! Holy cow! It's heart even thumps! And it tells me that I'm special and a really good doctor. ;) lmao Too cute! And yeah, yeah, yeah, I know what you're thinking. But hey, I'm a child at heart!

After presents and hanging out for a bit, I called some people to wish them a Merry Christmas. The first I called was Sam. She was playing a board game with her family, but I got to talk to her for a few minutes, so that was nice. :) Then I called Tara, Ran, and Val and left them all messages on their voice mails. After that, we called the cabin down in CA to talk to the family that was there. I talked to my grandpa for a bit, then my mom talked to him and my uncle. My cousins were apparently out shooting poor, defenseless squirrels with a pellet gun. *rolls eyes* lol

Then we started watching Sky High, and shortly into it, my cousins at the cabin called back. I talked to them for a while and cousin Kevin played a song on his guitar for me. He's much better than I am, but that's because he actually practices and my guitar has been sitting in my closet for over a year! lol They put me on speaker phone so I talked to the four of them all at the same time. :) Mike finally got a job as a full-fledge firefighter, but he said they're having him do some more training stuff and in a few weeks he'll start going out on calls. I guess just the other day he got to use the jaws of life in training. ;) lol CJ was happy to be out of school for a bit, and apparently she's the one who got the pellet gun. ;) lol Don said business is slow during November and December, and then I said maybe it would pick up now that people have gotten money as Christmas gifts and he said, "bingo." lol So that was nice. :)

After that, we finished watching the movie and hand lunch while we were doing that. Now I'm here typing this, and in a few minutes I shall hopefully be chatting with some of my other cousins, and calling Val back as I just got a message from her on my cell. :) Later on it shall be work, which will hopefully go nicely. I think that's all, so I'll be off for now. Once again... Merry Christmas!! :D And remember, Jesus loves you! Happy Birthday Jesus!

Saturday, December 24, 2005

I only got up a bit before I had to go to work today, but I managed to get there in time. :) Just before I left, a package arrived for me from Tara. :) As soon as I pulled out enough of the tissue paper in the box to read the side of my gift I started giggling. lol Tara sent me the Puzzles in Motion Backstreet Boys CD-ROM!!! lmao Woo! In one of our phone convos a few weeks ago we were talking about that and the BSB board game and I said I'd played the board game, but never the puzzle thing. Tara said it was actually pretty cool, and now I get to see too! lol I was planning on installing it and trying it tonight, but then I didn't really have time after work and church because my step-brother is over tonight instead of tomorrow morning. Tara sent me a really cute card that made me laugh too. :) But yeah, I'd install it now, but I didn't get enough sleep last night and therefore have a slight headache which means I'll probably go to bed pretty soon, and then perhaps get up at a decent time in the morning for Christmas! :D

I got some early Christmas presents besides Tara's gift tonight as well. From my step-bro Kenny, I got a Barnes & Noble gift card (I'm sure I can find plenty of books to buy, lol). Then I got a quite hilarious gift from my mom and dad. Brace yourselves people because this is really funny! Are you ready? From my mom and dad I got... a new soft toilet seat! lmao I'm not lying, it's totally true! My mom said I should pick one out to open tonight and I had no clue what would be in that package, so I opened it up and burst out laughing! It's funny because that's not a normal Christmas gift, but at the same time, I did need a new one and I had kept meaning to ask my mom for one, but always forgot. Hehehe. I got a toilet seat for Christmas!

After I stopped laughing (took a couple minutes), my mom said there was actually another package that went along with that so I opened that up too. It had a cute hand towel with dolphins on it (that's the theme of my bathroom) in it and also a really cute dolphin toothbrush holder (which I also needed, lol). So those were good. Man, the toilet seat is still hilarious to me! Oh yeah, and I asked my mom if part of the present was that she would be the one to put the new toilet seat on for me. lmao She said yes because she knows I won't touch the toilet unless I have to. ;) So funny.

As a gift to all of us, Kenny gave us those long wafer sticks with chocolate in the middle of them. You know what I'm talking about? Anyway, they're really good and I ate about five tonight before I told my mom she needed to take them away from me. ;) Hehehe. My parents and Kenny opened up their stockings tonight as well, but I decided that I want to wait until tomorrow morning to do mine. :)

Oh yes, work was okay. I got a fair bit of reading done and it was a pretty small crowd so that was rather nice. :) My mom, dad, and myself all sat down to have dinner together at the table when I got back too! It's been a while since we've done that. We're usually sort of a "fend for yourself" kind of family when it comes to meals and I normally sit on the couch or in the recliner. Yeah, I know it's bad. Oh well. It was nice to all eat together though. :) Normally the schedules don't allow for that. Church was after that and service was nice. I did the video. Also got to see Laura and say hi since she's back from the holidays and found out that Wes got an internship, so that was good news to hear. He was funny after service because he started to stick his hand up for a high-five, then he went down for a shake, which I sort of managed to do for a second before he moved his hand and I went, "I don't know what you're doing!" lol Then he gave me a hug and said he was faking me out. lmao It was funny. I guess he's going to be at the theatre tomorrow night (his whole family is), but he didn't trust himself to remember how to thread the projector since he was gone for 6-8 months or something. I would probably be the same with that, and I told him so.

So yes, that has been my Christmas Eve thus far. I hope you all had a good day as well, and hopefully everyone will have a wonderful day tomorrow! Merry Christmas! And Happy Birthday Jesus! :D

So, shortly after I posted the last entry, I decided I should try making the Narnia layout that's been in my head for a while now. It went pretty good, and it's up, as you can see. I shall miss the BSB in Ridgefield one, of course, but this is sort-of wintery, etc. ;) It's sort of interesting how you can have a picture of something in your head, but it never quite comes out just like the picture. lol I'd say it's decently close though, or at least along the same style lines. :) That's all for now; just had to post about the new look. Please tag and let me know how you all like the new layout! :)

It's been a while since I last posted. Apparently I'm in another one of those slacking spells. ;) Anyway, tonight was work, but I didn't have to close for once and so watched the movie with my mom and dad since they came down to see it. :) Gosh, Narnia is such a good movie. Oh, and I had a most humorous thought when watching the movie! You know how Peter is a stud in the movie, right? And you know that old phrase "stud muffin?" Well, I was watching the movie and there was Peter all lookin' good and I thought to myself, "Peter, you're an English stud muffin." Then, it dawns upon me! If I minus the word "stud" I can simply call him an English muffin! lmao You know, like the food? *giggles* I found it quite humorous and now shall think of Peter always as being an English muffin! Hehehe.

In other news, let us see... I went shopping yesterday evening to get the last Christmas present stuff. See, Santa apparently came early to my house and all the stockings were filled except for my mom's. Therefore, I went out and got stuff for her stocking. It would have been too sad if her's had nothing in it, and she won't put anything in for herself, so I did. :D I bought my kitties a present too. And, it's funny, my dad bought them a present! lol See, I knew he loved them even though some times he tries to say that he doesn't. ;) lol

I have to work on Christmas. :( See, movies are always open every day of the year. However, I asked for it off, and I was only the second to do so. See, Josh put it off, then I did, and then a week later Brian "remembers" he has to have it off. So, really, Brian should have to work and do the projector since he was the last to ask for it off, but I'm too dang nice, and my plans aren't big nor terribly solid and I'm the "manager." I'm never going to be manager again! It's annoying! So yes, blarg. I have to work a whopping hour and a half on Christmas Day which is sort of annoying in and of itself in that it's such a piddling amount of time. *sigh* I volunteered to work Christmas Eve too, so I'm working that AND Christmas day because the other two are buggers! *shakes fist*

Tammy owed me $110 from JBB 8 (part was from her friend that she brought), and she finally gave me part of it tonight. She gave me $100, so now she just owes me $10. So that was rather nice. She also said her car got stolen last night. Apparently while she was watching a movie at another theatre (multiplex). Fun. She got it back though, and all that was taken was the stereo, so that was good considering.

I don't think there's much else to post. I did figure out that if I write 500 words per day, I will hit 80,000 words on the novel I started for NaNoWriMo roughly on April 21st. So, I think I shall try and shoot for that as my goal now. It's definately doable. I might have to up the daily word count a bit to keep myself going, but we'll see how it starts off. I will need to begin today if I'm to do this. Wish me modivation please! lol Oh yes, and I painted my nails festive for Christmas the other day. :) Pretty, pretty. TTFN!

Sleep... at a reasonable time? Pah! Who would ever want to do that?! In other words, I'm an ideot for being up this flibbin' late. Oy. How will I ever get up in time for a shower and getting to work when I'm supposed to? *cries* Will my sleep schedule NEVER be fixed? Perhaps if I take fencing where I would actually have to be up by a certain time at least two days a week. That's still not until February though, and I've not even signed myself up yet. Arg.

On the up side, I converted all the fanlistings that I'm keeping over to Enth 3! lol I just finished that, actually. It went pretty good. I "had" to do some extra work to get the lists customized for each of the different fanlistings, but it wasn't too bad. And it's quite a nice little script so far. We shall truly see once I get new members and have to approve them, etc. While I was working on that, I've been listening to the soundtrack from Newsies! Yeah!

In other news, my legs are starting to get freakishly cold here. My heater's on half-way, but perhaps since my computer is near the window, that is causing the cold to penetrate further. These pants aren't real thick either, so that could very well be another contributing factor. I think it all means that I should get myself the heck to sleep now!

On a last note, I'd been thinking about getting a Sony Cyber-Shot T7 (the ultra thin one) for a while, but then last night or the night before, I thought that I'd look on the Sony website for other models. Behold what joy is coming in the new year by clicking HERE! Looks like they've addressed all the things that were concerns in reviews I read about the T7, and this new one has many more pretty, pretty features. Therefore, I think there's a good possibility that I may be saving up my money to get that when it's available. lol All right, nighty night!

Woah, too much shopping today! lol I bought so much stuff that I can't remember what half of it was! lmao Spent a pretty penny, too. At least I've got the money to pay the credit card bill though, so no worries there. Let's see... what can I remember that I got? I bought some hair things from Claire's as a giving tree gift through our church! That was fun. I hope the little girl that gets them likes them all. :D I also bought a pocket watch there that Nick would be proud of. ;) lol It's got little charms hanging off of it: a guitar, a pick, and a star with a jewel on it. It's pink though, so I don't think he'd like that part, but I do. Hehe. :P I also bought two Care Bears stuffed animals for me, some new pants, shampoo, a singing Rudolph the Red-Nosed Raindeer with Santa decoration, some gifts for some other people, oh yeah, and Atlantis pens! lmao Here's the story on those.

The first thing mom and I did on our day out was go to the Olive Garden for lunch (yummy lasagna and raspberry lemonade). We didn't have to wait too long, so that was nice. We chatted and ate and it was all good. Then it came time for the bill and I was treating. When our server brought back my card and the receipts to sign, etc., I noticed the pen that was given to me to sign with wrote very smooth and nice, so I looked to see what kind it was. Low and behold, it was the BIC Atlantis! Oh yeah baby! Now I have Atlantis pens, which aren't really associated with the TV show, but I'm going to associate it with that for myself. :D Hehe. That was awesome. ;) So yeah, when we went to Wal*Mart, I found a pack and bought 'em.

And now, the past few days... Sunday was work (blah), but mom took me out to dinner and dad came to join us, so that was nice. :) Then Monday was work again. And yesterday... guess what... work! lol Today was the most eventfull day I've had in a while. I have tomorrow off also, and I am soooooo happy about it. lol Sunday I'm going to a bridal shower. Woo haw. Got gifts for that today too. I'm going to call this the end of my entry now as I'm getting distracted. Night!

Saturday, December 10, 2005

Yesterday we sold out the second showing of Narnia and the first was quite busy. Wes came in to watch the first show! He's been off at a recording school for the last six months or something, so it was nice to see him and say hello. :) I also saw other former employees yesterday and today. Anthony came to the second show yesterday and Zach stopped in to say hello just before the first show started today. Fun, fun. :) Some guy yesterday asked us if we were ever going to show X rated movies at our theater. I was like, "excuse me?!" I didn't say it, but I sure thought it. Then he says that he noticed we had one a year ago, but he wasn't able to make it then. I'm like, "EXCUSE ME?!" Again, not out loud. lol I couldn't really say anything so the guys told him they didn't think so. *rolls eyes* NEVER EVER!!! I would not be working there if they were ever going to show anything remotely like that. And yeah, the guys figured that he thought the movie Triple X was actually just an X rated one. I don't know, but that was weird.

Today we almost sold out both shows. The problem is that once the theatre gets a certain amount full, there are still seats left, but they're scattered around as just single seats in places people usually don't want to sit. Therefore, we usually end up having to refund a good 10-15 people who couldn't find seats together and don't want to watch the movie otherwise. That's what you get when you don't come early on opening weekend of a big release though. Oh well. And I gotta say it again... Narnia is an AWESOME movie! I sat up in the balcony and watched about 20 minutes of it yesterday and today while I was eating my dinner. It just gets better each time I see it. Casey came in tonight to watch it (I know him now because he came so many times -- like 20 -- to see SWIII and I started talking to him about it so now we just talk each time he comes in about movies and I usually give him free popcorn because I'm too dang nice. lol), and he still said that Harry Potter 4 was better than Narnia! I was like, "no it's not!" lol I do need to se HP 4 again though, but I'll probably wait until we get it in a month or so that way it will be free. lol

I don't think anything else incredibly interesting happened today at work, but on the way home something did. I was just driving along and I got to my freeway exit and started to go off on it. Now, it's dark there. Washington does not put street lights everywhere like California. At least, not in areas outside big cities. So, I'm going and I've not slowed down much because it's just the beginning of the ramp when I notice large shapes looming up in front of me. Woah, Elk crossing! I hit the break, but I wasn't going to slow to a stop before I got to them, so MAJOR PRAISE to God for opening up space between two of them for my car to glide on through! Holy cow though, it was a little freaky. lol They weren't moving much as they crossed the off-ramp, and it's good that the one seemed to stop to let me go by. Elk seem fairly smart about cars, I've noticed. I probably shouldn't tell this story to my mom though. lol

All right, I'm off now. I'm almost to the end of The Sliver Chair, so I'll probably finish that as soon as I get some computer stuff done and whatnot. Then I should attempt to get to sleep earlier than the past two nights. Hopefully at least two hours earlier. *sigh* My sleep schedule is so crapped up. Oy. Ta ta!

P.S. Oops... I meant to add this too. Nick is funny. Click here. Here's a small sampling:

19. Who would you like to be for a day and why?
I'd like to be someone in the FBI or CIA who knows all the big secrets and if there's other life out there. That fascinates me.

You know, not that I wouldn't want to have the chance to find out that stuff either. I mean, hello, Stargate project! lol But still, it's a little funny to read written down. Gives me hope that I'm not the only oddball in the world though. ;) *sends a big hug off to Nick that he'll probably never get* lol

Oh my gosh... and Happy Birthday to my Daddy!!! :D

Thursday, December 8, 2005

I finished breaking down the movie tonight a half an hour before I told the guy I'd be finished. So, just before I was done, I called him to let him know. He was already in the area, so my mom and I didn't have to wait for him and that was good. Anyway, when I gave him the movie tins, he gave me his business card and told me that I got it done so quick, I got a gift! lol Apparently his company just gives these things out to people because it's got their name printed on it. What gift did I get? A shiny silver pocket knife! lol It's got a cork screw and everything! lol And a Philips and flat head screwdriver! It's really kind of cool, but I'm not sure I've really got much use for it. lol Anyway, I thought that was funny.

I forgot to mention earlier that my mom was interviewed today by a local news radio guy! lol She went to get gas and apparently it's down to $1.99 a gallon where she went! So yeah, the guy came up to her after she finished and asked if he could interview her. She said okay and he asked her if she could believe the price had gotten so low, and my mom said she couldn't. ;) lol I just thought that was totally awesome! And, I hope our local gas stations bring their prices down that low. That would be nice. My mom said it was like a Christmas present. ;)

Speaking of Christmas presents, I wrapped a couple for my parents tonight and stuck them under the tree. Now the tree skirt is not so lonely any longer. Heh. The other gift I ordered for my mom is on its way, and I'm just waiting for my dad to add one more thing onto his list so that I can get it for him. You know, as long as it's in my price range. ;) Then, while I was wrapping, I realized I've gotta figure out a little something to get my step brother. I've no clue what he'd want though! lol He may just end up with a gift card unless he relays some things through my dad or something.

Anyway, I think I'm going to surf the BSB fan club boards a bit now. Then I shall probably read more of The Silver Chair before I go to bed. I don't really remember anything from this Narnia book, so it's rather interesting. lol Nighty night!

][ 11:52 PM

I watched Narnia again early this afternoon. It was awesome the second time too!!! lol And big yay, I put the whole thing together right and there were no problems! *dances* Praise God! Oh yeah, and there was a PotC 2 trailer attached! It looks way cool too! Gotta wait until summer for that one though. ;) The tag line is hilarious though! Haha. It's "Captain Jack is Back!"

In other news, there's not much other news. lol I'm starting to get a bit of a headache right now, but hopefully it will go away as I don't want it. ;) I get to go back to work later to break down the movie that ends tonight so someone from way far yonder can come and get it right away. Oy. lol Tomorrow at work should be interesting. I imagine it shall get quite busy with the opening of Narnia and all. Well, I think that's it for now. I've a feeling there was something else I was going to post about, but I can't remember. Ta!

I got a call earlier today that the print for Narnia had arrived! I totally expected that I'd have to wait to get it until tomorrow. So, I went down to work and put it together. The thing came on NINE reels! Holy cow! lol So yeah, I did that. Then, I came home with time to eat and then had to return to work because Brian J. forgot he had a band concert tonight and Josh already had plans. Pooie! I need to start making plans so that I have an excuse to say no, I can't come in. ;) lol Either that or we need to train someone else to do the projector. I'm thinking that's the more likely of the two. ;)

Tomorrow I get to watch the movie, so that part's happy. :) Unfortunately, I've got to break down the other movie tomorrow night instead of Friday morning because apparently some other theater needs it right away or something. My boss just decided to tell me that today. Arg. I told my mom I'm never going to be manager again.

In other, non-work related news, I finally decorated the Christmas tree tonight! YAY! Now the lights are on and it looks so pretty. :) Mom helped me put on the ornaments, too. I got to put my new Care Bears ones on the front. They're so cute! lol Still more holiday things to be put around the house, but I decided to stop for the night and take a break. lol

Right now I'm watching The Brave Little Toaster. I ordered it on DVD from the Disney Movie Club, but hadn't watched it yet. Man, there's some scary stuff in this movie. Apparently I was a brave kid though because I don't remember ever being afraid of it; I just remember liking it. Aww... the poor blender just had it's motar ripped out and sold as a part. *tear* All right, I'm off now to work on BSB wallpapers for the contest at the fanclub! *dances*

No luck meeting the Backstreet Boys. I had a pretty good time though. Ran and I had fun and were even interviewed by one of the radio station people about how we liked the concert. Don't know if they ended up playing it on the Radio or not, but that was fun and we felt cool. ;) Or, at least, I felt cool. Hehe. Oh yes, and I met one of the guys from The Click Five and got his autograph. lol It's amazing how not knowing any songs by the person makes them so easy to approach. lol Now, if it'd been a Backstreet Boy, I would have been nervous as heck, but not at all with this guy. I was very nonchalant. lol Ran said I was brave. I told her my courage comes and goes. ;) lol Anyway, I put up the page for it already because, well, as I say when I really should be asleep but am not, "sleep is for losers!" (FYI: I don't really believe that. I just say it some times. lol) But yes, you can find the page in the concerts section under the "girl" area, or you can be lazy and just click here. There's eight pictures. They're all rather crappy. Our seats were not that good. *sniff* And, the Boys only played six songs, so that was a bit sad and I screamed "encore," but I don't think they heard me. ;) lol Still lovely though. :)

DUDE! Sam's dad got to visit the set of Stargate SG-1 AND Stargate Atlantis AND met two of the actors from Atlantis, one of them being Wier!!!!! HOLY COW! lol So not fair. lol She's showing me pictures over AIM right now and laughing that I said I was totally writing about this in my blog. ;) lol And double DUDE! Sam has just informed me her dad also met the guy that plays John Sheppard!!! *sigh* Oh, I'd like to meet him. ;) lol I beleive he's married though. Shucks. I'm still a Daniel girl all the way though. Hehehe. I totally thought this was a way cool thing to hear though. Now, how could I get to do something like that too? Humm....

Nothing else really to say. Work was normal. And I'm still trying to figure out a "plan" for Sunday. lol Who knows how it shall go!

I mailed a letter off to James today. It's short and basically just says get well soon, but hopefully it will make him feel better to know that people are praying for him and whatnot. :) I don't know if he'll remember who I am (I put that in the letter, too, lol), but oh well! Then again, I didn't think Keith would remember me when I called him in April, but he did right away, so who knows. Of course, I haven't heard anything back from Keith since April. *rolls eyes* I was thinking about him yesterday too. *sigh*

In other news, I actually got dressed and left the house today! lol It's been like five days since I've done that. I went with my mom to run a few errands and do a bit of work down at the theater. Mom had a lot more work to do there than I did, so I went over to the mall for a while and talked to Autumn the whole time. She was supposed to be working, and she did ring up people's merchandise, but didn't really do anything else while I was there. lol It was nice to chat with her for a while though.

It's snowing right now. :D It snowed for the first time this year a few days ago (I think it was Tuesday...), but it was gone after the afternoon because the snow turned to rain and washed everything that had stuck to the ground away. lol It's sticking pretty darn good right now though. Last I looked there were about two inches. Yay!!! I love snow! The only bummer is sucky driving conditions. Hopefully I won't have a repeat of last year when I go to work tomorrow. I shall drive REALLY slow around the corner this time because spinning out and driving into the ditch is NOT fun. I don't recommend it at all.

I put together the Christmas tree tonight! :D I did it all by myself. And yes, I did say that I put it together. We've got a fake tree. Some people would be appalled at that, and I was sort of one of those types when I was little, but I have since realized the wonderfulness that is a fake tree. No spiders come in with it, you don't have to water it, you only pay for it once, and it's easy to put away when Christmas is over. Therefore, that's what I'll be getting myself whenever I move out. lol It looks all pretty though, and perhaps it will look prettier tomorrow if my dad gets the decorations out of the garage and there is time to put them on the tree when I get home from work. :)

Oh, and keep this on the ultra down low, okay? I ordered an extra one-sheet (aka poster) of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe a while back and it finally came today. It was there at the theater when we arrived. So, I brought it home and shall hang it on my wall soon. :D lol It just looks so cool, I wanted to be selfish and get it early. Otherwise, I would of had to wait until after we were all done showing the movie. I know, I know. lol Anyway, I suppose this is all for now. Nighty night!

P.S. I've been getting lots of "Ask Me Something" questions the last few days, so thanks to whomever is asking them. :) Some of them are rather humorous and I think they're fun to answer. :) So, ask away people! Just nothing that's not appropriate or too personal, okay? Thankies!
