Last night there were eight people at the movie. Tonight, Nate and I were shocked when seventeen showed up! Woah! There were ten when I went upstairs to start the movie, then, after the previews were over, four more came, followed by another three. Woah. lol So yeah, absolutely crazy night at work. ;)

Nothing else really going on. My first fencing class is Thursday morning and I'm just hoping I can get a decent enough amount of sleep the night before. *sigh* I was going to get up early today to help prepare me, but then I slept until about 2:30 PM. *smacks forehead* When I woke up my mom asked me how I was and I said I dislike myself because I slept too long. She told me I wasn't allowed to dislike myself, but when I do that, it's somewhat hard for me not to.

All right, I'm off now to finish the last one and a half chapters of the book I'm currently reading. There's some serious stuff going on right now and so I find myself very much wanting to know what happens in the end. lol Then I shall have to decide which book to read next. Humm? I have a fair few that I've gotten not all that long ago which are waiting to be read. Then there are some books I'd like to buy off of Amazon that sound really interesting too. lol *goes off to read*

Curse me for being nice and not liking to lie!!! I know that sounds silly to be saying that since those are both prized qualities, right? Well, not when you don't want to work and someone calls you complaining that their body hurts too much from stupid kick boxing classes yesterday and they don't want to work! UGH! Why couldn't I have just told him, "I CAN'T"?! No, he has to pray on my compassion that he feels bad. But yeah, when I was sick no one would cover for me. And I have to work when I've got period pains pretty much every time that I do since that comes in monthly cycles! And his back hurts because of a recrational class he chose to take yesterday afternoon! Well, my feet have been hurting the last few days, but I went to work! Oy! I'm praying that he gets a call back from Josh and that he's willing to work. I don't want to work at all, but I suppose I could consider working the first show for him and he should feel better by the second, I'd think. *slams head onto desk* Curse my niceness!!! People would say, "well, now you get more hours, Holly." I don't care! *pouts*

EDIT: Right after I hit post, I gathered some guts and called Charlie (who wanted me to work for him) and told him sorry, no. I feel a little bad and he didn't sound happy about my answer, but I do sort of have plans today. Just because they're breakable and I'm not going anywhere doesn't mean I should just automatically be expected to break them, right? *sigh*

So, I thought that I had to go pick up the movie we're starting tomorrow from the depot today. I got up and got dressed and ready, and then called to confirm that it was ready to be picked up. They said to call our booker because they didn't have it or know about it, etc. So, I called and told the guy who books our films that they said to call him, and he said he'd figure out what the deal was and give me a call back. That was at 12:30 PM and he called back at about a quarter to three to tell me that it's getting delivered tomorrow. Wee haw. I could have stayed in my PJs all day long and had a proper day off if I'd have known that! lol But no, it's got to be a movie delivered by some weird carrier rather than the two options which we usually get the movies by. I get to have a long day tomorrow. Joy. I suppose it doesn't bother me that much, and now I don't have to drive all the way to the depot, but it would have been nice to know all that yesterday or something. Yeah, yeah, I'll stop complaining now and see if I can modivate myself to do something constructive.

I just finished watching DuckTales The Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp! Oh yeah baby! Man, I've missed DuckTales. I was way extatic when I saw it was on DVD at the Disney Movie Club and had to order it! lol It came in the mail today along with the other title I also ordered, Oliver and Company. I heart that movie too. :) Now I've got the DuckTales theme song stuck in my head. It's not a bad thing, just as long as it doesn't stay on repeat in there for too long. ;)

Monday was hanging around the house followed by work. Yesterday I went with my mom to do some shopping stuff. She wanted to get a bookcase, but the place didn't have it in stock, so she'll have to go back for it in a few weeks. How annoying. Anyway, we went to a few other places and I bought two shirts and some capris from Wal*Mart. :) Then, of course, work. lol I played on my computer and made a card deck for my still-in-the-works Stargate TCG, and I made a John Sheppard wallpaper. :D All while the movie was going. ;) lol Actually, I don't think anyone came out and got anything during the movie. Not that I can remember anyhow.

Today I sort of got some stuff accomplished. I did laundry (actually, it's still going), cleaned out the kitty litter, vaccuumed the bathroom floor, and made evil chocolate chip cookies. I wish they were either really healthy and good for you or that they tasted nasty; then they wouldn't be such a problem. lol *sigh* And in between some of that stuff, I went to work for a while. Ooh the excitement of my life. lmao

I also called some camera places again today. None of the retailers around here have the new Sony T9's yet and it's starting to agitate me! The Sony website's had them on sale for a week, Amazon's got them in stock now, and a whole bunch of online merchants have them, but no one around here! Of course, I had to decide that I wanted the harder to get black model (figures I'd do something like that), so that's why I didn't just order it direct from Sony or off of Amazon. And then there are a few other online stores that have the black one for sale, but none of them seem very reputable, and the camera's rather pricey, so I'd rather not have the possibility of losing my money. Arg. Perhaps God is giving me a test in patience. lol And I don't think I'm passing just now. Ah... must just wait for a while. It won't kill me. I don't need the camera. I'm just so horribly weak for fun technology. Rawr me.

New layout up!! Yay for John Sheppard and his cuteness. lol For those of you that do not know, John Sheppard is a character from Stargate Atlantis played by Joe Flanigan. Ain't he a cutie? He's married in real life though, I think, and his character on Atlantis is totally meant for Dr. Weir. lol So yes, this is my Valentine-themed layout. I think I'll just steal John for the 14th, then Dr. Weir can have him back after that. ;) John can take me to some planet, hopefully free of the Wraith, for a picnic and that would be just lovely. Hehe. :P

Also, got rid of the old link me buttons in the site section and replaced them with, well, one new one for now. It looks much nicer and is in theme with this layout. I shall hopefully make some more eventually, but I don't think I feel like doing so tonight. Anyway, I'm off now. Enjoy the new layout!

][ 11:53 PM

I woke up early this morning for church. I actually woke up without an alarm or anything about a half an hour before my mom came to tell me to get up. It was odd. I was unwilling to get out of bed though, so I just laid there for that whole time till my mom came back for the second time to say I really had to get up. lol Then it was off to church, which went fine. I was rather disappointed with an analogy that my pastor chose to use in his message this morning, though. My mom said I should point it out to him, but I doubt that I will. I'll probably forget, and besides, I don't really have the courage. Doubtful he'd care either. I assume he thinks nothing's wrong with it, but it doesn't really uphold Christian values as it should. Anyway... we sang one of my favorite worship songs at least, so that was nice. :)

After church I asked my mom to stop at Subway for me and got a meatball sub. It was quite tasty. I got evil chocolate chip cookies because I'm weak for sweets, too. My dad went off to go skiing and my mom and I watched the SG-1 and Atlantis episodes from Friday again. I sort of fell asleep during the Atlantis one though. I was in that state of almost asleep/half asleep, but not really. Makes perfect sense, I know. What can I say? I'm a genius at explaining these things. ;) And I'm being sarcastic, if you didn't realize. Heh. I think I did really fall asleep for a while though, then mom woke me up to see if I still wanted to go see a movie. I decided that still sounded good and got myself up off the couch and ready in a few minutes.

We went to the theater (not the one I work at) where I proceeded to get more junk food in the form of a cherry Icee. Yeah, bad me. Anyway, we watched Glory Road which was pretty good. It's hard to watch the stuff where they're doing horrible things to the black kids on the team. It's so sad that that stuff was done, and even that it still happens in some areas today. It had the good message of sticking together and beating the odds though, which was good. And then I love the based on true story movies where they write what the people went on to do at the end. Very happy. :)

We came home after that and I had some dinner while my mom and I watched some TV waiting for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to start. That's a real happy show to watch. It's always awesome to see how people are blessed and their recations. And man, they built these kids a castle in the backyard with a working drawbridge and everything! It was so cool looking! My mom said we could build on in our backyard for me, but I said I'd never get to use it because it rains so much. ;) lol

When that was over I watched some more TV before coming to sit here in front of my computer. Pretty nice day off overall. The major plus was just that I didn't have to work. lmao I just thought to myself again right now that perhaps I'll actually go to bed at a decent time tonight and therefore wake up while it's actually still morning tomorrow, but really, who am I kidding? lol It's already almost eleven right now and I'm considering getting the new layout up, possibly writing and/or reading some. I should be totally tired because I did not get enough sleep last night, or really the night before, but I seem to be hard wired to staying up late right now for some reason. How will I manage waking up early for fencing lessons starting in February? *wonders*

More "fun" at the theater today. Luckily, I didn't have to take much part in it and so am therefore not so stressed, etc. lol Which is good. ;) So, what fun, you ask? Well, if you recall my last entry, I mentioned issues with the girl's bathroom. When I got to work today Brian, who had been cleaning, didn't even know there had been anything wrong in the girl's bathroom, so I assumed that meant that the problem had been delt with since I didn't hear anything else from my boss either. Everything was going pretty good until a lady came out and said the toilet was overflowing. I set down my book, and went to look.

There was a big puddle on the floor. BIG. lol So, I called my boss to ask her if she had someone come and look at it. She said no, she had come down this morning and there was no water on the floor at the time (it probably drained, I assume) and she flushed both the toilets so she figured it was fine. So, I told her it was doing it again and asked if I should put an out of order sign on the door or what? She said do that and she would call me back. I did that and a lady came out from the movie to use the bathroom. So, I knocked on the guys bathroom door and said I'd stand guard for her to go. She walked in and then walked right back out saying something about it being gross in there. I went over and told Curtis that and he went in. A few moments later, he told me to come have a look.

It was gross. There was stuff coming up from the drain in there as well, and guys had apparently kept using the toilet even though it wouldn't flush because there was a HUGE pile of toilet paper and pee in there! EW! None of them said ANYTHING to any of us. Thanks guys! *smacks forehead* Poor Brian choose that time to re-appear from whatever it was he was doing in the office and went in to check it out. Then he got the mop and made many valiant efforts to clean up things, but both bathrooms were out of order.

While Brian was trying to clean, I called back Karlene to tell her there was also issue with the guy's bathroom. She had me call a local plumber because she was still driving to her destination. I called and did my best to summerize/explain what was happening, but he said he couldn't come and that it sounded like a main line blockage, or something. He suggested that I call Roto Rooter, so I did. I explained to the phone lady there and she checked to see if anyone would be able to make it out tonight. She came back on the line after a few minutes and said that no one could be out until tomorrow. I thanked her and said I'd have to talk to my boss before scheduling anything. So, more phone calls to my boss. lol

I ended up giving her the number to another place out of the phone book because their ad said something about them being able to come on short notice, blah, blah, blah. And then I asked her if we should cancel the second show. At first she was going to say no, just tell people the bathrooms are completely out of order. I was like, but it's a three hour long movie. We'd basically have to inform everyone as they came up to buy their tickets that they couldn't use the bathroom for three hours if they wanted to come watch the movie. There's not exactly another public bathroom right next door or anything. She saw the reasoning in that and said she'd call the place, then get back to me.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that somewhere between one of those phone calls - I think before I called my boss to tell her neither plumber I called could come - I went down to the nearest bathroom place because I had to go! lol It was sort of good that I did too because when I was waiting for the final phone call back from my boss, this little girl came out and said she really needed to go to the bathroom. What was I to do? I asked if her parents were there, because then they could take her down the road to the place I went. She said she was with friends so I asked if she wanted to go see if some of them would go with her, but it didn't look like she wanted to ask them so I said if she wanted I could walk her down there. She nodded at that, so I told Curtis and Brian I was going to walk her there and would be back in a bit.

The girl and I set off, and on the way there she said wait and turned around and I was at a loss for a moment, then she stopped and threw up. I guess I shall spare you all the details on that. Nothing got on me though, and only one or two small splatters on her, so that was good. She still had to actually go to the bathroom though, so I walked her the rest of the way. She told me she felt fine, and she thought she just hadn't had enough water and that's why she threw up. *shrugs* Anyway, I waited for her and then we went back with no further puking, so that was good. I hope she's okay.

I got the final call from my boss that she got a hold of the other plumber place and they could come out in an hour or two. I said that's good, but we'd still have to cancel the show, right? She said yeah. So, Curtis and Brian updated some of the stuff to say the show was cancelled and I made a sign for the front window. Fun, fun. It's just a really good thing that Curtis really wanted the hours (he just spent $300+ on Seahawks tickets for tomorrow), so he was more than willing to stay to wait for the plumbers and whatnot. That meant I didn't have to, which was also good since all the info to get onto the website FTP is on my computer and I had to update the website to show the movie was cancelled as well. When the movie finished, I picked up most of the big pieces of trash in the theater, and then did the projector stuff upstairs and left.

I think I may have mixed up the timing of some of the things, but that's basically what happened. In a way, it was really nice because I got to come home a bit earlier and therefore watch High School Musical as it aired tonight which left me time to watch the taped Stargate episodes from last night. lol However, it wasn't really good for the theater because we had to cancel a show. Also, I called Curtis to see how things were going during a commercial of High School Musical, and he said the plumber said that it was pretty bad and would take a while and Curtis told me it's going to be expensive for my boss to pay. *sigh* Bummer. And I think it might be horrible of me to say this, but it might not have been so bad if my boss had called someone this morning like I suggested last night. I told her the stuff was coming up out of the drains in the floor, which says something very not good to me, but since she didn't see anything when she came in, she thought it was fine. Maybe she thought I was over-dramatizing it or something, I don't know. Or maybe she didn't understand what I was trying to say last night as it was late when I called her; she may have been rather tired. I don't know. So yes, interesting night at work. Praise God that I have tomorrow off! lol Hopefully everything will be good for tomorrow though so that the shows can resume.

P.S. Martouf was on SG-1's episode from last night!!! *squee* Martouf and his cute, cute smile! It was an alternate reality/universe Martouf since the one in our reality/universe died in season four, but he was still cute and I was so happy to see him! *squee* Martouf!

I just got home from work a few minutes ago. lol I got up at 9 AM for work and home almost at midnight. Oy Fridays when the other closers all ask for it off, and I'm stuck! lol It wasn't really too bad though. The first show was small and went well, then the second wasn't as large as I feared and the middle school and high schoolers relatively behaved themselves. I even got almost a hundred pages into my new book (which is good so far). Then, when Charlie and I were picking up trash after the second show, my mom yells down that there was a "blowout" in the girls bathroom. I asked what it was and she said she didn't know. Not a good reply. So, I go and look and discover that this nasty smelling crap is bubbling up through the drain in the floor! Ew! What the heck am I supposed to do about that?! lol So, I bothered my boss and she told me to mop/soak up with rags as much as I could. Ew. Poor Charlie. I told him I'd give him a ride home so his parents wouldn't have to come (he stayed to watch the movie), then everything took longer because of the "blowout." He was nice about it though. So yeah... wee haw.

Yesterday I built the new movie, then just chilled around the house. Nothing new there. Tomorrow I shall be happy to watch the SG-1 and Atlantis episodes that aired tonight, which my mom so wonderfully taped for us both. :) Also, I shall be able to tape the new Disney Channel original High School Musical, which I'm actually quite looking forward to seeing. I was kind of bummed I couldn't tape it when it premiered tonight because it conflicted with Stargate, which is more important to me. lol It's on again tomorrow night though, so I'll tape it and hopefully watch it when I get home. :)

Yesterday I played the movie for SIX people! *rolls eyes* Stupid last two people just HAD to show up. The other four were willing to come back another night, but it was the two that came at the very last minute that were like, "no, we want to see the movie!" We made $10 off of concessions. But really, all we did last night was lose money. *shakes head* Not my money though, so I guess it really shouldn't bother me, right? I spent the whole time reading. I was contemplating just watching the movie because I could see if any of the six people got up to go to the lobby, but then I just didn't. I still don't like that movie that much so I probably won't watch it again before it's finished at our theater. I imagine I'll buy it on DVD though because it's like, I've got the first three, I should get the fourth one too, right? lol

The good news of the day though is that Josh is going to run-through King Kong for me so that I don't have to watch it!! YAY! I know some of you have probably already seen it, or want to see it, but it's really just not the kind of movie I'm interested in. It just doesn't look interesting to me, and I also don't like monkeys/apes/gorillas, whatever you want to call the things. But at the same time, I still like Disney's Tarzan. lol That was a good movie though, and Phil Collins did great with the music for it. *shrugs*

Mom and I went out for lunch today and I got breakfast food. ;) It was my first meal of the day, so what if it was after 12 PM? lol Then we went to the mall and I asked the Talls Camera guy when they were getting the new Sony T9's in and he at least gave me a better answer than when I called the other day. Still though, they don't really know. He did say that they should have the black version whenever they get any of them, so that was happy to know. I could order that one online, but not from any sites that I trust. Sony's website already has the silver ones for sale, but I guess they take a little longer to get to the dealers or something. Blah, blah, blah. I've just been so excited for it, and now I still have to wait longer. :( So, to console myself, I ordered two DVDs from the Disney Movie Club when I got home. Haha. I didn't find anything to buy while I was out because I'm "saving" money for that camera! Oy!

Oh, and another positive point for today... mom helped me do my taxes! Woo haw! I should get my return money pretty quick for filing so early. lol I even decided I'd go with the direct deposit thing this year. Woo $400!!! Mom asked me if I was going to go to Disneyland with it. Hehehe. I was like, "I could!" lol I need to sit down and figure out when I'm going to make my California trip this year. It might be earlier than normal because I'd like to go down while Disneyland's still got the 50th celebration stuff going, but we'll see.

Saturday was work, but it was pretty slow. Yesterday was also work, but it was pretty slow too. Today was work, and it was VERY slow. lol A whopping FIVE people came to the second show tonight. *shakes head* I asked them if they would be willing to come back another night and receive free passes for an extra movie, but they all wanted to watch it tonight so I ran it for them. It's just a bummer because the theater loses a lot of money when we have to run the movie for such a small crowd. Oh well. Wasn't my idea to have two shows today. ;) lol

I talked to Val twice yesterday while I was at work. I had called her Saturday night while I was bored waiting for the movie to end, but she didn't answer. So, I was changing the clock on my phone yesterday right after I got to work and as soon as I finished, the phone started ringing and it was Val! She laughed at me because I answered to fast, but it just happened that I was already fiddling with the phone. People started coming after about a half an hour so I had to go, but I talked with her some more while the movie was going. Then my phone battery died. lol At least it makes this loud, distictive noise beforehand so I said bye to her instead of it just hanging up or something. So yeah, that was nice to chat with Val for a while.

When I was still up early, early this morning I was working on a new layout for this site. :) It's a Valentine's one. So, I might wait a little bit still before I put it up, but I "heart" it so much, it might be up tomorrow! lol I finished coding it tonight when I was at work while the five people were watching the movie. ;) lol I suppose that's pretty much it right now. Nighty night!

Well, I just sort of finished cleaning up my desk. I say sort of because there's still some piles of stuff and my desk has a glass top which shall definately need to be windexed. lol Recycled a lot of papers though, so I suppose that's a good thing. I'm not sure I'll ever really get my room organized though. I was up till 4 AM this morning cleaning out other parts of my room. I cleaned out/re-organized three drawers in my dresser and three shelves in my closet. There's a lot of stuff that I'm just not sure where to put it and for one reason or another don't seem to want to get rid of it. You know? I'm feeling somewhat accomplished that I've done as much as I have though. Still plenty to do. I'll probably tackle going through my clothes and getting rid of stuff I never wear any more next. I discovered I have a whole LOT of BSB stuff, too. It baffles my mind how much I spent on that stuff...

In other news, I'm going through one of those moments. The kind where I just have no clue what to do with my life. There's a TON of things that I can think of that all sound so cool to do, but for one reason or another I can't see a way to do them. *sigh* I wish college was still free, or a whole lot cheaper. I would go and take so many classes on all sorts of things and it would be fascinating. But apparently the world doesn't allow for fascinating to be a pathway for making money to buy shelter, food and clothes. But God is reminding me now that when I get to Heaven one day, things will be different and I think there will be MILLIONS of fascinating things! I treasure these moments when God reminds me of things. I cry for happiness at the promise He as given me and I know that He will not go back on it; He will not dissapoint.

I remember what it was that I forgot to add in to my post yesterday. I did a bit of cleaning/organizing in my room the other night. I straightened up three shelves and started work on another and got some things off of my floor. Still plenty to do though. It would probably be good if I cleaned my desk up real soon. It's getting rather cluttered. I started to do some a couple weeks ago and got rid of some stuff, but then I just piled the rest of it in a corner of the desk and now there are new things floating around all over it! lol Fun fun.

Nothing real interesting happened today. I was woken early by my body. Grr to it and pains and other "fun" things. A DVD that I ordered came in the mail today finally, so that was rather nice. I tried to get someone to work for me tonight because I wasn't feeling particularly dandy, but, of course, no one wanted to. Well, I don't want to work for any of them anymore either! I'm only covering for people now if they're really sick or it's an emergency. Unless I suddenly decide I want more money for some reason anyway. I'm hoping I won't have a reason to decide that. *sigh* Okay... must stop complaining. I did make a new card deck for the Stargate TCG that I started working on AGES ago and have still not gotten up. lol So there, at least I sort of accomplished something today. I chopped some veggies for my mom, too, and tomorrow we will cook the chicken and rice and have chicken veggie stir-fry. Yum. *licks lips*

Yesterday my mom and I went and saw Cheaper By The Dozen 2. It was decently okay. I laughed a few times and there was actually a teary moment at the end! Woah. lol I'd probably call it a rental though, unless you really want to go see it for some reason.

After the movie, mom and I went to Trader Joe's and I got more yummy food/drink items! lol They've got lots of tasty Kashi products there, and also this really good sparkling cranberry juice. Tasty, tasty. :) And good for me too! lol It's a miracle! We dropped by Michaels after that so I could get a package of clasps for necklaces. The clasp on my Narnia shield necklace broke. I didn't feel like returning it, so I just figured I'd fix it myself. Those clasps are rather expensive though - almost four bucks.

We went to the mall after that to do some walking. I didn't buy anything. lol I know something I'd like to buy, but it's not out yet, so I am forced to wait. Some of you may have already guessed that it's the new Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T9 that I'm waiting for. lol I've pretty much decided to get it. I found out they come in black too, so I might try to find one of the smaller stores that sells them because that's the only way to get a black one. I called and talked to a Sony rep and he told me that they release the black ones only to smaller dealers to give them a little more competitive edge. lol Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll have a little deal at Talls Camera or something. As long as they don't charge over what Sony wants off their direct website I'll be okay. Otherwise, I'll just go with the silver!

I'm thinking there was something else of note that I was going to post about that happened yesterday, but now I cannot remember. Arg. It's getting rather annoying when I do that. I'll just move on to today. I stayed home and mom and I watched an Atlantis episode that she couldn't remember seeing. The Funshine bear Care Bear that I ordered came in the mail. My Au Gratin potatoes boiled over and made a huge mess on the stove (my fault). And then there was work, which was pretty slow and nice for me. :D lol

Speaking of work, the new schedule says that I have Friday entirely off! AMAZING! I will actually be able to watch SG-1 and Atlantis as they air!!! WOO! I'm totally excited for new McKay moments. lol He's so funny! He's not stunningly good looking like Sheppard, but he's so absolutely hilarious and wonderful to me that I've finally decided he is my favorite Atlantis character. Followed closely by the lovely Sheppard, of course. Joe Flanigan, who plays Sheppard, is probably very distantly related to me. Or, at least, his last name is the same as my great-grandparent's. Except that ours is one vowel different, but it's still considered the same family crest and motto, etc. Yay for the Irish! lol Wow... that was a major tangent there. Anyway, I shall be off now. Nighty night!

I wrote some today. Not a lot, but some, so that's better than the past month and a half where I hadn't been writing anything. Well, I take it back, I did write like a page of something a week or two ago, but that was it. I was suddenly struck with an idea for a new story today. I was almost not going to write it down and just hope that I'd remember later (that's a VERY bad thing to think when you'd like to be a writer), but then I figured I might as well jot it down. I ended up writing a sheet about the idea, then I flipped on my computer and typed up two and a half pages of ideas/summery and then the opening few paragraphs. I was kind of getting stuck, and then my mom came in the room with the phone, so I stopped for the time being.

My mom had been talking to my Uncle and then my Grandma to see how things are going. I talked to my Grandma for a bit and said I had a new story idea, etc. It was a short conversation, but nice. When I hung up my mom told me that my Uncle was at least able to get my Grandma to take her medication the last few nights, but they're still having trouble getting her to sleep. I guess my Uncle said he thinks he's seeing a little improvement and last night the doctor said to double the dose of medication. *sigh* Hopefully my Grandma will get better.

In other news, I had the day off, so that's been nice. I've got a headache though. I think that's just from not getting enough sleep. Hopefully I'll behave myself and get to bed early tonight. Then, perhaps, I'll take myself out to do something tomorrow. I felt today like I wanted to go do something even though I feel sort of tired, but it was a no-go. My mom was out all of yesterday with my dad doing stuff, so she didn't feel like going anywhere. I have no one else to ask to do anything with me and didn't feel up to going by myself. I may not tomorrow either, but we'll see.

Thursday afternoon I went to pick up the print of HP 4 from the film depot. There was an accident on one of the freeways on the way there and traffic was blocked up for quite a ways. Hopefully everyone was okay though. Then, once I got past the accident it went good for a while, and then backed up again just because traffic is usually like that in that area. But eventually I got the movie and brought it back to the theater and put it together. Woo haw. lol Then I got to go home.

Yesterday I woke up at 8 in the morning, which is freakishly early for me. lol Why would I do something crazy like that? Because I had to break down Narnia so that it would be ready to be picked up in time. Fun, fun. Then I watched HP 4 to make sure I put it all together right, and it went just dandy, so that was happy. :) After that I got to go home for about an hour and a half before having to go back to work. Blarg.

Work went okay until the second show. We were short a person and it was busier than we thought it was. The scary little middle schoolers were everywhere!!! *runs around in an over-dramatic way screaming about the horror of the little middle schoolers* lol I wasn't suposed to close, but I'm too dang nice and told Josh I would close for him when he asked. And then, of course, I got quite a few complaints about kids being noisy, etc. However, there's like no way to tell in there who is being loud and then the ones you do tell ALWAY claim it was the kids next to them, etc. *rolls eyes*

During one of the trips in to deal with loud kids, Thomas was out in the lobby. A little before that this little girl had asked me if she could use the phone because she felt like she was going to throw up. Guess what happened? She threw up in the lobby. She tried to make it to the bathroom, but just got vomit on the door and the carpet in front of it. It was really gross. Yuck, yuck! I will spare you all the nasty details. Thomas is my hero though, because he cleaned it all up. I was going to help, but then he just said he'd do it. My mom and I found $11-12 when we were cleaning up after the movie was over though! lol

When we got home, mom and I watched the new episode of SG-1, even though she'd watched it earlier while I was at work. Then she went to bed after that and I stayed up to watch Atlantis. I should have been tired, but I was on that second leg thing where you've moved past the sleepiness and are wide awake again. Both episodes were good, but I'm still definately liking this season of Atlantis better than this season of SG-1. It's just not the same without Jack! lol

Today I didn't get out of bed on time and was late to work. We were short a person for the first show, but we managed okay. The second show was smaller than last night's and I didn't get any complaints about people being loud, etc., so that was rather nice. I called Josh after I woke up to see if he would close for me tonight since I closed for him last night, but he said, "I can't." Want to know what "can't" means from him? He covered for Tammy and worked the second show today and toward the time the movie was going to be started, his girlfriend showed up. The "can't" was that he and his girlfriend were going to see a movie tonight. And last night he went to a concert or something. *makes slight "grr" face* I need to remember to ask people why they want me to cover for them, and also how to say no if it's not an emergency and I don't feel like it. *sigh* And I need to stop complaining. Bad me. No other news. Nighty night.

WOAH! So, I have the hosting company that this site is on, but not too long ago there was such a good deal at DreamHost that I had to go for it! So far they're an EXTREMELY good hosting company. And now, they've got a plan up that's more insane than the extremely good deal I got before! For their cheapest plan, which is $9.95 a month, you get 20 GB of disk space and 1 TB (that's TeraByte) of bandwidth!!! HOLY COW! Plus, you can host unlimited domains on the plan! And that's their smallest plan!!! *mind is boggled* So yes, check out the comparison if you're thinking about a new host, or for your first (and very possibly only) host. And, if you do sign up, please use THIS link, or put that hrwrites referred you. Also, if you're interested in hosting but don't want to pay a year in advance and don't want to pay the set-up fee if you pay by month, e-mail me and I can waive it for you. :D See, they are awesome!

My Grandma's doing okay right now. She's staying at one of my Uncle's house and my Grandpa is at their house. My mom, dad, and myself were going to fly down for a week starting this weekend (a very last-minute trip). However, when my mom called to ask my Grandma if she'd want that, etc., my Grandma said she doesn't want us to come because she'd rather wait until a happier time like Mother's Day or something. So now we're not going. So, earlier today I had fun calling some people to see if they could cover for me at work, and then we I got back from work tonight and my parents had decided not to go, I got to call the same people back and tell them nevermind. lol Fun, fun. I talked to Brian K. because he's the only other one around that could have built/taken down a movie if I'd have left. He said he could, but then I didn't need him to after all. lol I asked him if the crazy rumors that he was going to come back to work at the theater were true, and he said he might, but right now he's working up at the pass during ski season. He said some other stuff about how his school things are going during our second convo when I called him back, but I didn't hear hardly any of it because his cell phone was breaking up. Hopefully it's going well for him. :)

I'm still in shock over the amount of space at DreamHost (do you think I've plugged it enough?). And, you know what, I think they've increased my plan to those numbers too! That's what it sort of sounds like in their announcement about it. WOAH. I could so never use anything close to that up! lol Oh yeah, and they automatically increase your disk space and bandwidth every week you host with them. WOW. Okay, I'm a stop plugging now. Oh, and I entered a wallpaper creating contest at the BSB fan club, but was not a finalist. Oh well. T'was fun. :)

P.S. I signed up for fencing and a writing class starting in February. :D *dances*

For those who pray, could you shoot off a quick prayer to God about this please? My Grandma apparently has some sort of mental illness. One doctor talked to her for a single session and pronounced that she has bi-polar disorder, but I'm not sure I believe that. It seems like way too fast of a diagnosis to me, and I honestly find it hard to believe that she's got it at such an old age. I suppose I don't really know about that sort of stuff though. Anyway, she's been saying weird things and has been doing some strange/bad things as well. I haven't experianced any of it first hand because she lives in California. Apparently all my uncles down there are pretty sure it is bi-polar and from what they've told my mom and what she's heard my Grandma say on the phone, she thinks that's what it is too.

This morning, my Grandma and Grandpa got into a physical fight. My Grandma scratched my Grandpa very badly on the face and he hit her. It's sort of good that my Uncle Jeff still lives with them and he got them to stop, but that was probably really hard for him to see and be around, etc. Now my Uncles are talking about having a family meeting to decide what to do about my Grandma, and it's possible my mom will fly down for it if they decide that's what they're going to do. Basically, they want to get my Grandma into assisted living and find an appartment for my Grandpa. I don't know what's going on. All I know is to keep praying. I'm finally starting to tear up about this as it seems like something is definately going on. I know my Grandma's not going to like any of this though. I can't totally blame her. Anyway, if those of you that believe in God and pray could please say a prayer about this (even just a quick one with a few words) I would be very grateful.

In other news, I got to leave work early today because we didn't need as many people as were scheduled. So, I went and found a wallet for my new purse, and I got everything moved over. It's going to take some getting used to, but I like it okay I suppose. Nothing else to report.

First entry of 2006. Today my parents and I all got up and went to church. Then we came home and mom and I watched some of the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition marathon before heading out shopping. My dad went and got some skiing in while we did that. The only two things I had on my list were shoes and a new purse. They still had the exact same style of shoes as my current ones at Wal*Mart, so I just got another pair of those. lol I know they fit well and it was just easier that way. ;) Besides, once you get into the higher end of ladies shoe sizes, there's not as much selection, so when you find something you like fairly well, you go with it! lol

After Wal*Mart we went looking around at a few furniture stores for mom. Wasn't thrilling for me, but it wasn't real terrible either. ;) Then we dropped by the mall and walked around for a while and went into some stores. I finally had to settle for a purse. I've been trying to find a new one I really like for a LONG time now. We're talking MONTHS. But all the purses right now are all the same ugly, annoying style (to my taste anyway). They've all got those short straps that you can just stick on your shoulder so the purse is sticking right under your friggin' armpit. I understand some people like them, but it just agitates me that all the companies that make purses jump on the bandwagon and they all make the same styles! Oy! I like the kind with the long shoulder strap so that the purse hangs by my waist. Much nicer for me. Anyway, Dickies at least is good and all of their purses have long shoulder straps. The reason I didn't get one before, though, is that there's only one big spot and not pockets and zipper areas, etc. Kinda bummed about that so that's why I had to "settle." I'll need to go buy a wallet now too. However, the purse is covered in colorful stars, which is totally me, so I'm as happy as I can be over it. ;) lol

After shopping, we went to the Olive Garden for dinner. YUM! I think I ate too much though. We had to wait quite a while for our food because they were really busy so that by the time I got the food, I just kept eating! I still have leftovers though, so at least I didn't eat ALL of it!

In other news, someone asked me a weird question on my ask me something deal. They asked if they could have the "URL code" for my Narnia layout that's up right now. First of all, that question really doesn't make sense. What is "URL code?" lol Sorry, I don't mean to make fun, but I think it's from someone who probably doesn't know much about this kind of stuff and thought I got one of those pre-made layouts that anyone can use and slap some text relating to their site on. I made this one though. And not for distribution; just for here.
