Hey, you know how I won that $10 off a concert ticket thing from the Sprite cap the other day? Well, the day after that I went out and got another one, but didn't win. Anyway, I just went out and got another and next time I go to the store, I'll grab another with my free 20oz. Coke cap! lol Yeah! It may not be much and 1 in 4 is really great odds, but I still feel special for winning something. ;) lol

Oh my gosh! You will NOT believe me when I try to explain how funny the comedy thing was! lol We just got back... dang hilarious, I tell ya! lol The first guy, Scott I think was his name, man, he was so funny! I wasn't sure how the whole night was going to be, but I am SO glad that I went! lol Then, Don Friesen, the headliner for the night, came out and I was just bustin' a gut! lol Now, EVERYONE go check out his site at wussman.com! Seriously, that's what it is. lol Don't believe me... then go and look and find out that, oh, Holly was right! lmao
lololololololololololololololol
^ lol Sorry, you'd of had to been there or at one of his other performances to really get it. Better yet, go to the site and buy his CD. I get one free in the mail for going there and filling out a card, I can't wait for it to come!!! Wee!!! *dances*
I hate to do this, but I feel the need. After that so happy comedy thing and my gleeful entry, I've gotta rant on spiders. I know, I know, here it comes again, but see, the thing is that it's their own faults! They're terrorists I tell you! I mean, I swear they know that I don't like them and that they get to me so they come looking for me just to freak me out. Therefore, they are terrorists. It's that freakin' simple people! Why now? 'Cause there was just another big spider in the freakin' bathroom above the toilet! I mean, he wasn't quite as big as that one that flew out of my pants and then left his nasty brown spider liquid all over my carpet, but he was still pretty big. I had to ask my dad to get out of bed and remove it from the bathroom. He tossed it outside. That thing's got one chance to live and if it comes back into this house... it's gonna have to die. I warned it, so I cannot be held responsible if it wants to go ahead and commit spider suicide. It's it's own choice. Anyway, nuff o' icky bluck. lol I'm gonna mess around on then net and then go to sleep. TTFN and g'night!

I think that this weekend or next week, I am going to go apply for a bunch of jobs. I need a second job because I don't get nearly enough hours where I am now and I don't really even think they need me except when it comes to getting their site fixed and keeping it updated and I'm just now finally starting to do that. And then of course there's me trying to get a Toyota Matrix at some point in the next year or two, so I need to do some serious saving and get a huge down payment so my monthly bills can be as low as possible for the shortest amount of time possible. Dang, whenever I finally get one, it will be SO nice. lol But then again, new cars always are, or at least they're supposed to be. ;) lol
I want to go home already. lol I've only been here for about three hours which means I've got three more left to go, but I still want to go home. However, I will not because I need the money. Car insurance keeps freakin' going up every single time I've got to pay it and it's aggrivating me! We've only got the bare minimum protection too and it's still pretty darn expensive. I don't even want to know what other people have to pay for it. Then again, I think that out of everyone I know, I'm the only one who actually pays for their own car insurance, or at least part of it. I don't even know how much I pay. lol All I know is that when the bill comes every six months, my mom tells me how much I need to give her. lol I should probably educate myself in that.
Bored... bored, bored, bored and still... BORED. lol I checked my e-mails already and now I just get to wait for the phone to ring and Sam to reply. Hey, do you all remember Ani's site that she had? Cache-22.net? Well, HOSTurbo decided to suck some serioius arse and screwed up all of my sites there and Ani's. Instead of just moving to a new server, she decided to get a new domain(it's the coolest name too) so I'll be getting that coded and up for her soon. I'll be sure to plug it when it's up. :)
Okay, I guess I'll kill this entry since it's entirely boring and far too long. TTFN!

You know what's some serious shiz? You can't have a hyphen at the beginning or end of a domain name. I had THE freakin' coolest idea for www.-hol-.com! lol Alright, so it's not really very cool and perhaps it's better that you're not allowed to do that because it prevents me from getting it, but still, it just irks me that you can't do that.
Woo! I won, I won, I won!! *dances around happily* I asked Eric to get me a 20 oz Sprite when he went to get his coffee and it turned out to be a lucky one! lol I won $10 off a concert ticket by mail! Wee! lol Okay, okay, so it's really not THAT great, but it made me excited. ;) Humm... I wonder if I can use it for any concert or what? Maybe they just give me like a gift certificate to Ticket Master or something like that. Guess I'll just have to call the number tonight and find out. :) But yeah, that's the only reason I'm posting right now. lol Had to share my joy and excitement. ;)

Woo, work was interesting today. When I got there, there were a LOT of packages I had to get ready for shipping. That kept me pretty busy for a while. lol But yeah, the interesting part was my trip to Seattle. I'd never driven to Seattle on my own before and today I had to. Eric told me he had a computer that he wanted me to drop off so I was all like, "okay..." lol Anyway, he printed me out directions from Map Quest and off I went. It got scary pretty quickly when I got on the freeway and couldn't get over to the lane I needed and ended up having to follow the junction. I got off at the first exit and turned myself around and finally made it onto the freeway I was supposed to be on. lol So I'm driving and I'm slightly nervous because I really have no idea where I'm going, but somehow I find my way to my exit. I get on the surface streets and everything's going okay until I turn right on the final road(the one the place was on) and there's a stop sign and I can't go forward and I can't go to the right and the whole way that it was setup just freaked me out because you couldn't go anywhere! lol I thought I was going to be stuck for a second until I realized I could hang a left into a shopping center. Low and behold, the place was right there in the shopping center! lol Getting back wasn't too hard, but I was still afraid I was going to end up getting myself lost. lol I didn't though and I made it back to the office after going to get soap from Fred Meyer. lol The rest of the day was rather boring and then the internet stopped working so all I had to do was sit there and wait for the phone to ring and well, it only did once or twice in one hour so yeah, you get the picture. Anyway, that was the most interesting part of my day. lol I got home and worked on some website stuff and that was about it. Then of course, I found out that the domain I was going to get for my web design company that I'm starting up was just bought a few days ago and like a day or two after I had originally checked it and it was open. Argh. I can still get another domain, but it just bugs me that someone took it. Oh well, whatever. Anyway, I'm starting to feel rather sleepy and I think it would probably be a good idea for me to go to bed since I have to work again tomorrow. G'night!

lol Did I scare anyone with that last entry? Hahaha. Autumn and I were a little hyper. lol Will still thought it was funny when we watched it again after we'd slept though. ;)
I saw my youth pastor's new baby at church this morning. His wife brought him by near the end of the service so that everyone could see him. I guess he's cute. lol I don't know, I'm not exactly a little baby person. I have what I refer to as "baby phobia." I'm seriously afraid of babies. It's mostly just that I'm afraid of holding them or touching them or anything because I think I'm going to drop them or hurt them on accident. Yeah, I know it sounds stupid, but I can't help it. But yeah, it was cool I guess. He was sleeping the entire time and didn't move at all! lol
Oh yeah, see what I made? Go ahead and click the thumb-nail for a bigger view of it. I wanted to show Autumn the joy that is Photoshop 7, so I made a Nick graphic. lol I was all joking about how Nick should hire me to do his cover art and stuff. lol I think I'm crazy. Anyway, Sam's online now so I'm going to chat with her. :) TTFN!
Revelation: I want a slab of cheese.
Okay, Nick is freakin' gifted and Autumn and I are dorks! lmao We just finished watching Newsies and then we had a sudden desire to watch the For the Fans video from Burger King and see the part where the Boys sing in the end. Well, it ended up that it was already at the end of the video, so we just watched that part. Of course, we were laughing our heads off through all the out-takes and then it finally gets to the final product. First of all, Howie lies when he says they all grew up on Whoppers. I mean, we ALL know it was Big Macs. lol Anyway, then it gets to the part where they're singing and Nick sticks his hands out and very dramatically sings, "I want a slab of cheese!" At this point, Aki and I are rolling around in our chairs laughing! lmao I mean, he sings it like he really wants a slab of cheese and it's like, you just want to get up and give him one. The boy is freakin' gifted! lol Yeah... we know we're stupid. lol At least that was better than my "Spot spot" joke ealier...

*breathes in deep and repeates to herself... I'm okay, I'm okay, I'm okay...*
I just had the friggin' shiznit scared out of me! I've got company coming over later so I thought I should pick up my clothes off the floor and put them away in case we came back into my room or something. Anyway, so I'm folding my shorts and putting them away(they're clean clothes, I was just too lazy to put them away until now and the only place they could go was the floor) and I pick up the next pair and slap them up against me to smooth them out. Well, guess what flew out of them, landed on the carpet and then scurried very quickly under my bed!! It was freakin' huge! A big brown spider... I freaked. I do NOT like spiders at all. So I drop the shorts, run into my parent's room and grab a sandal to hit it with. I get back into my room and it's gone. I can't see it anywhere. So, I cautiously walk toward my bed and start taking things out from underneath it. First the audio tape holder, followed by the claranet, then my music stand, then my keyboard... I move around to the other side and I'm looking under the bed with my flashlight when I decide to pull out a small binder and I open it... Dang it was HUGE!!! *is having spazzums thinking about it* Anyway, I'd left the sandal on the other side of the bed and I didn't have anything to hit it with. Finally, it ran off toward my bookshelfs and I'm like, "No! Stop!" It did stop and I picked up the binder and smacked the corner of it down on the bugger! After that I realized I was going to have to go get something to pick it up with! Ew! I went and grabbed a whole bunch of paper towels so I would have to feel it and picked up what I could of it and ran it into the bathroom. That's when I got a bit of a better look at it. It was brown with very long fuzzy legs and it's middle was kinda striped. I have no idea what kind of spider it was, I just know it scared the shit out of me. I just keep praying to God that there aren't anymore of those things around. I'm almost afraid to finish folding my clothes. I decided that those shorts that it came out of needed to be washed again... *shivers* Ew. So yeah, after I picked up all of it's pieces, I realized there was some sort of brown liquid from it on the carpet so I sprayed a whole lot of 409 carpet cleaner on it and wiped it up. Egh... I'm okay...

Oh, I forgot to add something earlier. I revised my decision not to attend my high school graduation this year. I was just going to go down there and pick up my diploma or have them mail it to me or something. I didn't really feel like there was much of a point to me going even though all of my friends really wanted me to. Anyway, why have I changed my mind? For the sole fact that Ran called me today and told me it was on June 13th... FRIDAY, June 13th! Heh heh. I mean, with a grad day like that, how could I not show up? ;)
Happy B-day Howie!!!!!
Sorry, just had to get that up there. :) I did some constructive things today. I bought a new domain(not for me, mind you) so you all will be hearing about that within the next few days probably. I also put up a new layout over at my electric guitar fanlisting. I like it. :) Oh, and yesterday I got the Aaron Carter Fanlisting back up. I'm only running it until I can find someone to take it over though. I had found someone, but they never got it up and it had been down for far too long, so I decided I had to at least get it up and babysit it for the time being. I didn't do much else besides that today. I'm hoping that I'll get some more sites worked on tonight, but I don't know. At least tomorrow night should be cool. I'm having a game night at my house. Hopefully it will all work out nicely. :) Anyway, I guess I'm gonna jet 'cause I don't have anything else to say. TTFN!

Aww... Kaci is my favorite DJ at Kiss! She's so nice! She replied to Sam's e-mail and to the e-mail I sent her too. :) She seems like a very cool person. Sam said that next time I'm listening and she's on the air, I should call and say hello and I think I just may. :) lol Okay, I'm too lazy to post any more right now, so you all will just have to wait until later. :p TTFN!

Section: 340 - Row: L - Seat: 23
That's what my ticket for the BFD reads. However, I never even saw where that seat was yesterday! lmao I had to get a 20 dollar ticket because all of the 10 dollar tickets were "sold out," but I ended up going to sit with Autumn and her cousin Jessica in the $10 seat area anyway and there were plenty of open seats around there! lol Anyway, we stayed up there for a bit waiting for Nick to come out, but he didn't. So, part way through BBMak's performance, we went wandering around and checking out the stadium to see where everything was located. In the process, we found our way to the lower level seating and decided to sit there because there was this whole section almost entirely open and the security people just didn't seem to care. We sat there for a while and it was much nicer because you could actually kind of make out who was on stage without looking at the big screen! lol Nick finally came out and Aki, Jess, and I stood up and cheered. lol He was so cute! I think it was the second time that he came out(he only came out three frickin' times for like two minutes each time), he climbed up onto on of the large speakers on stage and then after he got up there he said something along the lines of, "Ow, that really hurt" and giggled a bit! lol Such a cutie! ;)
Okay now, my memory of exactly when some things happened is failing me, but I think it was after the second time Nick was up, we watched him walk back into the stadium and then jumped up out of our seats to see if we could make our way backstage to find him. We went down a back ramp that winds around the outside of the stadium. There was NO security there. lol Anyway, we got down to the bottom part of the ramp and Jess and I freaked out and ran part way back up because we thought we were going to be caught and end up being totally screwed. lol I think that if we would have kept going though, we would have ran right into Nick, but that's just my personal opinion. I wish I wouldn't have chickened out then though. Ah well, we ended up standing up by where we came out to the ramp and looking over the railing down into the back area. The security down there just kinda looked at us and didn't seem to care that we were there because they didn't say anything and we were close enough to where they could have just yelled right up at us. Anyway, we saw a whole bunch of people and lots of white vans with dark tinted windows, but we didn't recognize anyone. Well, stupid us! lmao We realized later when they all got on stage for their performances that we'd seen Shaggy and his whole possay, and O-Town(or at least Ashley anyway). Oh, and I just remembered. Aki and Jess saw one of the guys from BBMak back there(I guess we weren't entirely stupid lol), but I didn't. lol
Soon after all of that, some girls came and went all the way down and to where security was and then a guy came over to us and told us we were in a restricted area and we needed to leave. So, we wandered for a while and then headed back to our seats to wait for Nick to come out again. When he did, one of the DJs asked if we'd like to hear Nick's new song and of course there were many screams. Well, Aki, Jess, and I were hoping that Nick would sing it for us, but nope, they just had the CD and played it and then Nick said he was leaving, but we thought he'd be coming back so we just stayed and listened to "Help Me." I think I was one of a very small group in the stadium that knew the lyrics and was singing along to "Help Me." lol Anyway, Nick never came back. :( It was sad. I don't even know why the heck he was there if he was only going to be on stage for a total of like 6 minutes! Whatever. It was still cool to see him, although I wish he had sang.
I think my favorite performance was Avril's. She did a very nice job. I only really payed attention to her performance, the first guys(forget his name), Shaggy's(that man just kinda scares me...), and O-Town's. I was rather disapointed in O-Town. They came out and sang all of these rock songs and three of them were playing guitars, plus they had two guitarists in their band... that's a lot of guitars. lol Anyway, they kept acting like they were a rock band and it just weirded me out because their first album was all pop. They played a lot of stuff from their new album that's out in October and well, it wasn't bad, but I didn't care all too much for it.
Well, that's all I can really remember for now. We left after O-Town was done becuase we didn't want to see P Diddy. Oh, and by the time we were watching Shaggy, we'd made it down into the $50 seats because Jackie and Jana had spotted us and had us come sit with them. They weren't in their real seats either, although there's were actually in the $50 area. They had VIP passes too, but they said they sucked and just got them into this club area that was boring. Humm... I think that's it, but I'll post again later if I remember something more. TTFN!

Aww... I was all bummed because I didn't win tickets at all today and the show's tomorrow and all and then Sam showed me a letter she wrote to the Kiss DJs. It is as follows:
Hi. I know this will probably sound immature and ridiculous, but please just continue reading. I would really appreciate it if you would just let me tell you about my friend Holly for a second. It won't take long, I promise. :)
Holly isn't your average fan. Well, granted, she is very devoted to Nick Carter, but she's gone past the normal limits of "fan-hood". She's ran and continues to run some of the most popular BSB fansites on the net (and the best too, if you want my opinion) and shows more dedication to them, especially to Nick, than I have probably ever seen in my life. She won't take crap from anybody wanting to put her down and stands up for what she believes in, and that's him (and Brian, Howie, AJ and Kevin too, of course). Holly won't let anyone talk her out of doing something that involves them and stands her ground firmly to defend whatever she has to. If the Boys knew about her, or if Nick did, he would be proud to have my friend Holly as their/his fan.
The reason I'm telling you this is that I have one request for you. Holly has been trying basically day and night for the last few days to win BFD 4 tickets off your radio station. It hasn't happened for her yet, and her spirits are dampening rather quickly. She's thinking about giving up entirely and I would hate to see that happen. Now, I know perfectly well you have no control over who calls in and wins the tickets you are giving away. Holly is probably more deserving of these tickets than any person I have ever known in my life and that is why I am emailing you.
I know it is a lot to ask, and probably sounds like a dumb request, but if there is any way possible that you could send some BFD 4 tickets her way, I would really appreciate it. She's been a wonderful friend to me, and I have never really found a good way to show her that. Now I have my chance. I would just go and buy tickets, but let me tell you why I can't.
I live in [city censored], Alberta, Canada, which is more than a thousand miles away from where Holly does, down in Seattle. We've been talking online for a long time and this summer while I was vacationing in Vancouver, we got to meet face to face. There are so many horror stories out there about crazy psycho killers, but our relationship didn't turn out like that. Because we met, it is stronger now that it was before. She has cheered me up when I was down and made me see the bright side of things. I always looked forward to seeing an email from her in my inbox or an instant message when I sign on to my messenger. I know this may sound corny and possibly stupid, but it's true. I'm so thankful that I found her and made her as a friend that I would love to find some way to show her that I feel this way.
I know you must think I'm crazy for asking this, but Holly really does deserve these tickets. If you have any way of finding some BFD 4 tickets for her, I would thank you from the bottom of my heart. It would really mean a lot to me and to her.
If you can comply to this request, please give her a call at [number censored]. You have no idea how thrilled she would be, and how much I would love you guys for doing this for me. Trust me, she'd love you for the rest of her life as well!
Thanks so much for listening to me and for reading my email,
Sam
Wow, I can't believe that Sam thinks so highly of me n' all. Of course, most of that is mutual feeling. Sam's like my most awesome bud. Her and I are going to move to FL one day and Backstreet-ify our appartment or small house. ;) lol Sam, let me know if there's ever a contest to see the Boys where you are and I'll write you an equally good letter. :D Well, I just wanted to post and share that because it made me feel all special. :) G'night!
Guess what? I'm still trying to win BFD 4 tickets from Kiss. I think I got through twice today, but I can't remember the first time. I just know I was at least caller 13 once. I had a dream last night that I won a pair of tickets late at night and it was like the last pair. I'll let you know if that comes true. lol All the $10 tickets on Ticketmaster.com are gone now too so it looks like my mom and I are going to just show up at the venue tomorrow(if I don't get tickets tonight) and hope for the best. I e-mail one of the DJs to see if they'd give me just one ticket, but I don't think I'll get a reply. Oh well. TTFN!
Saturday, August 17, 2002
GARG!!!! Sorry, just had to get that out. I'm STILL trying to win BFD tix off of Kiss and it's STILL not working. Yesterday I got through ONCE. You've gotta be caller 25, I was 18. Today I've gotten through TWICE so far. The first time I was caller 13 and the second I was number 8. You know, it might seem cool that I'm getting through, but it's not. Why? Because they give away a pair of tickets every half an hour and I've called every time for HOURS both today and yesterday. Gar. I'm getting bummed. I even went so far as to send one of the DJs and e-mail begging for tickets. It was sad. Sam knows, I showed it to her, it was sad. lol Anyway, maybe God will smile down upon me later tonight. Either that or maybe I'll be able to go by one of the ticket stops tomorrow or else I'll just have pay for the $10 boon dock seats. Only thing is that, well, I don't exactly have much money now and I don't get paid again for another two weeks and I'm not sure if the Old Navy down in town will hire me. I applied on Thursday and called today to see if they wanted to setup an interview time with me, but they just told me that they'd call sometime after Monday... maybe. I'm starting to think that maybe BFD's just not worth the trouble. Sure, I'd like to see O-Town and BBMak and of COURSE I'd love to see Nick, but I'm just feeling really discouraged with all of this. *sigh* Maybe I'll make some more wallpapers to add to the two I've already made today and will be putting up later. Oh, and a reminder for all of you to check out my updates site.
Friday, August 16, 2002
I've been listening to Kiss since just after 1 PM trying to win tix to BFD 4, but dang, they just hate me or something 'cause I haven't even gotten through once! Too bad I don't have more lines like at work because then it would be easier. That's really all I've got to say right now. I'm kinda bummed about that. But wait! They just said at 5pm something about getting backstage!!! AHHH!!! *keeps her ear stuck to the speakers*

*sings while dancing* It's a fine life carrying the banner through it all!
Does anyone other than me and Aki know what that's from? lol I'll give you all some time to think about it and tell you the next time I blog. ;) Here's a hint, it makes me want to be in the spring musical at the high school. lmao
Magic Mountain was awesome! We didn't get to go on all the coasters, but we went on most of them and all the ones I really wanted to go on. We were going to go on DejaVu because most of us hadn't ever been on it yet, but it was closed till mid-afternoon and we went to line up just before the park was going to close, but the line was two hours long so we decided to go on Goliath again instead. ;) You know what just figures though? X has been closed for months and they opened it today, just after we went! lmao
I can't remember what else I was going to write about right now. lol I will be home tomorrow though. I miss my mom and dad and the kitties so it will be welcomed. I had a good long visit here too. :) Now it's time to go do my other online stuff. TTFN!
Sunday, August 11, 2002
Humm... what have I done since my last post? Well, I've seen Signs twice and I highly reccomend it. :) It's not really scary though. Or, at least it wasn't to me, but it's darn startling and makes you jump so that was cool. lmao Good movie though. Humm... didn't get to go learn how to surf because almost all the cars at my cousins' house decided to have problems at the same time. lol We did get to go play mini golf on Wednesday(I think it was lol) though and we also raced go-carts and CJ decided that she'd run me into the side of a turn so I couldn't move right away! lol The little butt-head! ;) It was still fun though I guess. ;) I went over to see other cousins on Thursday and then to see yet other cousins on Saturday. It was so awesome to see them all again! :) Only bummer is that all my guy cousins around my age are all taller than me now! lmao I used to be taller than them! Hahaha. Let's see... tomorrow morning I get to wake up early to meet Britney. :D She's an internet pal of mine from North Dakota and she's down here right now. I was talking to her on the phone and she told me that we've known each other for FIVE years now and we'll finally meet tomorrow morning! lmao We were going to meet at the mall and go shopping, but it turns out that the shedules will conflict and the only time we could get together is early tomorrow morning. I think we might go out for breakfast. :) Oh, and then guess what I get to do after I get back from that... I'm going to Magic Mountain baby! lmao And it looks like I don't have to get paid to get in either! lol My cousin(well, second cousin, but it doesn't really matter) works there and said she could get me and some of our cousins in for free. :) I know for sure that CJ's coming with and I think that Kevin will join us too, but I don't know. lol Anyway, it's starting to get late so I should probably try and wrap up all this internet stuff and get to sleep so I'm rested for tomorrow. :) G'night!
Monday, August 5, 2002
Autumn, Nick's gonna be at the Big Frickin' Deal as a guest host! I sent you an e-mail about it, but I thought I'd post here too in case you checked this first. Call Kiss and beg them for tix, k? lol *hugs* We must go see Nick and I doubt you have any money and I don't want to pay $100 so that I can actually see him from where we stand! lmao Gotta jet!
Sunday, August 4, 2002
Well, I'm back and I'm still alive! I'm not back to Washington yet, but at least I've got 'net access! lol Anyway, here's the run down of the camping trip.
Saturday the 27th:
We left around mid-morning and arrived at the RV resort in Pismo Beach right at 2pm for check-in. We went down to the beach almost right away for a short bike ride in the sand and then went back to grab our suits and boogie boards. The waves were rather dinky and broke too fast, but it was still a lot of fun and I got a few good runs on the boogie board in. When we got back from the beach, we all headed to the races. It lasted for HOURS! There were a couple of fires and some bang-ups, but no one was hurt. I banged myself up though. I was walking down the stairs and my foot rolled and I went down. lmao I didn't roll down any steps or anything, but I smacked my knee real well. lol ;)
Sunday the 28th:
We got up early and went to the swap meet. I got a dolphin wind chime for my mom and I almost bought the only beanie baby that I've been looking for at a decent price, but it wasn't in very good condition, so I decided not to get it. (Note: It's the '98 Holiday Bear and I only want it because it's got holly all over it and well, my name is Holly. lmao) After all of that we headed into town and we went to this really cool shell store! EVERYTHING in there was shells! lmao I got a very cute pot with flowers that was made all out of little shells and things. :) Maybe I'll take a pic of it and post it when I get home. :D We got back and Grandma and Grandpa were there so we said hello before heading back to the beach for some more boogie boarding. I also learned how to skim board, but I still kinda suck at it. lmao I only went a few feet on it before falling and landing on my butt.
Monday the 29th:
Beach day! We drove the RV onto the beach and hung out there for most of the day. I got some good pics, so I might post a few when I get home, but I donno. Then we took turns going out in my Uncle Mike's jeep onto the sand dunes and that was pretty cool too even though we got stuck a few times. ;)
Tuesday the 30th:
I watched a lot of movies this day while my cousins were up at the pier. My Aunt Rhonda arrived and then we all went to the ice cream social that the RV resort puts on two days a week, but it wasn't very social. lol
Wednesday the 31st:
Around 2am, I woke up to the sounds of my Uncle Jerry coming out of the RV(I was in a tent) and yelling at the people in the site behind us. Turns out I'd slept though half of their loud argument(the people behind us), but I woke up in time to catch the end of it which was esentially F this, F that, etc. Security finally came by and got them to be quiet so we could all get back to sleep. :) In the morning, we went in search of some sea caves and ended up just finding some tide pools. Oh yeah, and I found a dead bird and it was really nasty. lmao When we got back, we finally got to rent the limo! (Note: By limo, I mean an eight person bike that can be peddled by four people with one between each set of two peddlers and then two little kids could be in the basket in front.) We rode it around the resort area for a while and then took it into town and searched for the bead shop I'd seen. We found it and I got some cool beads to make surfer anklets for my cousins. Then we went down this huge arse hill... lmao It was pretty funny! After that I spent a few hours in the laundry area cleaning my clothes and then we watched Pay It Forward in the evening because some of my cousins hadn't seen it yet.
Thursday the 1st:
All of us kids who were there already went on a hummer tour through the sand dunes! It was SO cool and we went up one dune backwards! lmao I gotta get me one of those things! ;) Kevin and Teresa arrived later after having car problems on the way up. We went to Sizzler for dinner and then into San Luis for a street fair and to stick our gum up at gum alley. I tried to go to sleep early after we got back and heard that my cousin Steven wasn't going to be able to make it up the next day like he thought 'cause of work and then I got squished against the side of the tent since Teresa joined me, CJ, and Teona in there. lol
Friday the 2nd:
I woke up early and decided that it needed to be lazy day for me. Everyone else headed off to the beach and rented ATVs(4 wheelers) to ride around the dunes. I ended up going to the store with my Grandma and Grandpa and then they took me to pizza for lunch. :) This was the day when I was REALLY starting to miss the internet. lmao
Saturday the 3rd:
All my cousins got up at 6:30am to go to the beach, but I was wise and chose to sleep. lol When I got up, we headed to the swap meet again and then got there and found out that it was only held on Sundays! lol We went shopping in town after breakfast and I almost got two of those floral wrap-around skirts, but talked myself out of them because I didn't think they'd look too good on me. lol We went out to AJ Spurs for dinner and DANG, they give you a TON of food! lol And to top all the food off, a root beer float comes with every meal! lol It was pretty good stuff though. ;) My cousins all went down to the pier again so I went to the store and rented The Thin Red Line. Dang that movie is long! I don't even think you can rightly call it a movie either. The way it was setup and filmed, it's more like a documentry than anything else. Anyway, I didn't finish watching it 'cause I didn't find it that interesting, although it was not completely terrible either.
That brings us up to today. We said our goodbyes and left before noon. The ride home was interesting. I learned a new card game that I can't spell the name of, and it's complicated to say the least. lol It's pretty fun though. Anyway, so we're back now and I'm typing this for the SECOND time since the whole first half of it got erased and I had to start all over again. lol I'm also being attacked by ants that are EVERYWHERE! lol Oh, and my cousins' neighbor is flirting with me over IM. lmao Mike told him he was a loser. lol Okay, guess I gotta go now 'cause my cuz Kev wants on. TTFN!
