I wrote my first PHP script last night that WORKS! lmao I'd tried to write one before out of an (apparently) very cheap book, and it didn't work at all and I asked some people over at the CodeGrrl Forums what was wrong and basically they said that the whole thing just would not work and was totally wrong. :( I was rather discouraged after that. But, yesterday I decided that I really needed to update 2kaotic and add some new ways to get cards and that meant that I needed some sort of password gate script. First I did a search at Google, but I didn't come up with anything that I wanted. All the scripts were for having lots of members and all this complicated crap and I just wanted a tiny little thing to protect just ONE other page. lol And I didn't need that much security for it either. And well, the other TCGs all use Bravenet, but I really just didn't want to use them becuase you've got to sign up for an account and then there's a pop-up, etc.,etc. So I finally deicded to attempt to write my own! I whipped out the cheap, crappy PHP book and tried what they had in there that also used cookies and guess what... didn't work at all! lmao So, I deleted the whole thing and then I had a thought wondering if I could do it with the if statement and after a while of tinkering and adding some ;'s and a few more ='s, low and behold, it WORKED! AND it worked just how I wanted it to and everything!!! *dances* And now I've decided that I want a new domain to put PHP scripts that I plan to make and tutorials on. lol I had the name idea the other night and now I have the purpose so I guess that means I'm getting it. lol I'll probably buy it tomorrow or something. So much for trying to get rid of a lot of domains... lol
Humm... what else to post? Nothing really. lol I've been fairly productive though in moving many fanlistings and I updated the TCG and stuff so I'm not doing too badly here. lol Still lots and lots to do. I've got more fanlistings to be moved and lots of layouts to make! AHH! Oh yes, and my blog(aka this site) will probably be moving to 4606.net in a few days if I get the layout done soon. lol I think I might also try using Movable Type instead of Greymatter too. We'll see. Anyway, off I go to perhaps be more productive once again. TTFN!

Today was a good day. :) I woke up shortly after eight to take Tammy to school and then I came home for an hour before heading out to pick up Autumn. We met Andrew at the theatre to see Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. Originally we had planned to eat before the movie, but we had the times wrong so we had to go into the theatre right away. lol There was NO ONE else in there but the three of us. That happens a fair amount since we usually go during the day when everyone else is in school though. They jacked up the ticket price some more again though. :( It's $6 now. Arg. Once upon a time it was $5 and then they kept raising it by a quarter every once in a while and now it's up to six. But, I shall pay it anyway because I like to go to the movies. If they jack it up too high though then hey, screw going to the movies! lmao Anyway, the movie was pretty cute. Not the best ever, but good. I liked it. :) After the movie we went and had lunch and *shock* Andrew didn't have to leave right away! It was crazy! lol He's usually so busy that he just has time to watch the movie with us, but we went and ate and talked for a while and then we even went to the arcade and spent quite a while there playing some games(even though there were issues with one of them, lol) and whatnot. We're gonna try and do lazer tag sometime, that'd be fun. :) Maybe we can even get a bit of a group to go so there are more people to play, we'll see.
When I got home season one of SG-1 was waiting for me! Woo! :D Mom and I watched one of the episodes(The Nox) which was like the only one from season one that I haven't seen before. It was good and I think the Nox are cool so yay! lol For non-sg fans, the Nox are a peaceful and advanced alien race who don't believe in fighting under any circumstances, not even for self-defence. Their hair is really cool too. ;) lmao
After that episode was over it was about time for the episode on TV so that was cool too. Then my mom went through the rest of the mail and low and behold, my tax refund came!! :D *dances* That means I get to order more SG-1 seasons soon. :D lol I might wait until season six comes out on DVD because it's supposed to come out at the beginning of March and that's not too far away. I might not be able to contain myself though. Hehehe.
Oh, I would post more about other stuff since the last time I wrote, but I've got some sort of sinus presure headache thing going on. It's not too much of the headache part yet, but lots of presure and it doesn't feel very nice. lol I think I might even go to bed really soon because then it wouldn't bother me anymore. lol Sleep is good for things like that. ;) Well, off I go now. It's either to bed or to move more fanlistings to their new home. I've done a few, but there's still a lot more that need to be moved and I've got sites that need to go up and layouts that need to be made, etc. Hopefully I'll continue to be in a somewhat productive mood for the next few days and get a dent in things. Happy birthday Brian!!! :D *hugs* He's 29 today, but he's still so handsome. ;) Hehehe. Hopefully he had a lovely day. :)
I had a pretty good day. I got up at *shock* 9:30 AM! Insane, but true! lol And I actually got about eight hours of sleep too! lol I think I would have ended up with more, but I woke up, I think, three times. Was woken from a different dream each time as well. Sometimes I go through periods where I don't remember any dreams for a while and then all of a sudden, I remember a bunch every night. I'm in the remembering a bunch each night stage right now it seems. The first one began with a Backstreet Boys concert that had a two hour intermission in the middle of it(lmao) and when the first intermission started I caught sight of Richard Dean Anderson and went to meet him and acted like a total dork. lol Lovely, eh? There were multiple other parts to the dream, but it just gets weirder and I don't remember all of it so... this is then end. Heh. But yeah... back to my day. lol
So I actually woke up early. I got out of bed a bit after 10 AM(I said I woke up at 9:30, not got out of bed then. lol) and ate and watched some TV, etc. I started watching some of Saved By The Bell just after noon, but I didn't really like the episodes that were on today so I didn't watch the second one. Then I was on the computer for a bit and I talked to Autumn to find out which days she has off this week so we can go see a movie with Andrew. Haven't gotten a hold of Andrew yet though. Hopefully he'll call tomorrow or something. :) Anyway, went to work after that. Instead of reading the whole time the movie was going, I talked a fair amount with Ben and Curtis and in the middle of that the pizza we'd ordered came so Brian K. came down and ate pizza and talked with us for a bit too. I had three slices and then there was one last one left and they said I had to eat it. lol So, finally I gave in and ate the dang thing. *rolls eyes* Peer presure! lmao I lived though so I guess it's okay.
I read some after the first movie was over and we were done cleaning. Then my boss and her daughter Laura showed up so I talked to Laura for a bit and then customers started to come. Brian and Ben decided to try and annoy me. See, when the person at the concessions register takes an order, they tell the people at popcorn and soda what they need to make. I was doing soda, Brian was doing popcorn and Ben was "extra man" so we were all sort of congregated on the same side of the concessions area. So, Laura says I need to make like a medium root beer and Brian's all like, "Holly, medium root beer. Holly, medium root beer!" lol Then Ben joined in and then Brian goes, "Holly, junior mints!" lmao Well... maybe you just sort of had to be there... and be me to get it. lol
After the movie had started we were doing some cleaning and we were mostly done and my boss was going to leave, but I stopped her and asked if I could talk to her about me doing the projector. I'm not sure how much I wrote about that on here, but I don't think it was much. Anyway, I won't be doing it for a while if ever again because I guess the guys were supposed to have asked her first, but they didn't(and I didn't really think too although I probably should have) and she said there's enough people doing it right now, etc. So I was just like okay. It's not a big deal so whatever. I'd sort of like to continue doing it again perhaps in the future if I'm still working there, but we'll see. No biggie for now and it's a good thing that I waited to talk to her because I took it better now than I would have if say, I'd talked to her right after Matt had mentioned it to me(which it still probably would have been better if he had not said anything since it wasn't his place, but oh well). I was feeling rather hurt, I guess you could say, when Matt said something and I was a bit upset about it, but with me that sort of thing goes away real fast so that's why I was totally okay when I talked to her tonight. At least I've got it solved now and I don't have to bother with it anymore. :)
I got home after work and talked to Autumn for a few minutes before it was time for SG-1. It was part two tonight of a brand new episode and the commercials all week were saying someone close to SG-1 was going to die and change SG-1 for forever. They made me wait a week to find out who and then... *sniff* Janet died! They killed Janet! So sad. :( I knew it was either going to be her or General Hammond though because they're the only two that would really matter the most to the team. It was still quite sad though. The whole first half of the episode they were trying to make us think it was Jack that had died, but pish, that just can't happen. lol But I must admit, I didn't see it coming quite like how it did. Happy Sam/Jack moments in it, but still... sadness. I almost cried! After it was over I decided to call Autumn and tell her who they killed off 'cause she doesn't get Sci-Fi channel so she can't watch the newer episodes. Sadness. And who knows what next Friday night's episode will hold. The little preview wasn't much to go off of. lol We'll see on Friday. :)
And, to finish off my post for this evening, I was going to post this the other day, but I just sort of didn't. lol Anyway, a couple weeks or so ago I sat down and assessed the value of each of my domains to me in an effort to cut down on some and maybe be better on updating the ones that I like more, etc. Well, two nights ago I decided to re-assess them and the following is what I came to a conclusion on.

So if you think you know, don't go telling others just yet please. :) lol Anyway, I'd be curious as to any opinions any of you have on that. Basically what will happen is that this blog will move to 4606.net and be conjoined with my personal site. 2ka0tic.com will remain the host of my TCG as well as a few other things. kra-zay.com will become my fanlisting collective. of-a-star.com will be a wallpapers/blends/pictures sort of site. It'll sort of be like a fanart site a bit too. Mostly BSB and SG-1 stuff will go on there with some other choice things and whatnot. :) And then starafar.com will become my jump/collective/productions site and will also house my website portfolio that I've been meaning to make for a while. :) If you're curious as to why I decided to close other things, then just ask. I might post about it if enough people want to know. So, that's what I'm looking at right now. Parts of it are set in stone, others are not, all depends. :) But now I'm going to go. Happy Valentine's Day! :) I know it's over for most of you, but there's still a bit of it left here. ;) lmao So, curious as to how my v-day went? Well, if not then I guess you might not want to read this entry. lol
I woke up this morning-er... early afternoon(lmao)-to find that my poor daddy was out working. *sniffles* And it's the anniversary for when my dad proposed to my mom today too so I sort of felt sad for them both because my dad was out working half the night too so he was rather beat, but I guess they went and had dinner and both had nice days so that's super good too. :D *hugs for mommy and daddy* Anyway, I had one of those good-sized Resse's Peanut Butter Hearts on my place-mat and I took a few bites and thanked mommy before taking my shower. When I got out of the shower, I ate the rest of the thing. lmao I did have a little something else for breakfast though(I wasn't all bad, lol) while watching The Associate on TV with mom. It was pretty funny. lol Only got to see about half of it though before I had to leave for work.
Work was interesting. I wasn't sure how many people we were gonna get to come in today, but all in all, I think we had a really good crowd each show. Not too many people, but a good amount, so it was nice. :) During the first show I read for a bit, played some Solitaire and Free Cell on the computer for a while, and then Brian J. and Matt got back from their dinner and brought me the steamed rice I asked for and it was tasty. lol I couldn't finish it all though so I gave the last half to Laura, the boss' daughter 'cause she was hanging out with us while family watched the movie. lol She watched it yesterday and she thought it was too weird so she didn't want to watch it again. lol Speaking of which real quick, it's Big Fish that's playing right now and I watched it last night with Autumn and I liked it and Ewan is so cute, even with a bloody smile. ;) lmao But anyway...
We cleaned after the first show and then we had an hour before the second show started. Boring, boring. lol But, of course, the guys decided to devise a way to keep themselves from getting bored. While I tried to read my book, they decided to talk about farts and poop. Yup. lol Lovely, ain't it? *rolls eyes and laughs* Those boys, they're crazy, but I love them anyway, why is that? lol I tried to ask them to stop, but nope, kept going. Then when customers started to come they stopped for a few minutes until Brian J. comes up behind me when there was a quick break from people ordering concessions and he whispers in my ear, "poop." lmao I just started laughing. Then Anthony asks Brian what he said so a couple minutes later I hear Anthony's voice in my ear saying, "fart." *rolls eyes again* Oh Lord, save me! lol You know, I thought on Valentine's Day guys were supposed to whisper SWEET nothings into your ear... not icky ones. lmao Definately makes my day more interesting and memorable though. ;) Hehehe.
I left work and came home to find a case of Henry Weinhert's(sp?) Root Beer on my place-mat along with red carnations and a cute little heart-shaped balloon that said "Happy Valentine's Day" on it. :) They were from my daddy. I told him he could have some of the root beer too 'cause I know he likes it just as much or more than I do. ;) lmao Plus, there's like 12 bottles and I should so not drink them all so mommy gets to have some too! lol Then I watched the end of Star Search with mom and the beginning of Final Destination on Sci-Fi before realizing that I still hadn't updated 2kaotic with v-day gifts, so I'd better do that. lol What a great choice of movie to show on Valentine's Day though, eh? ;) lmao It might have been nice to watch the rest since I haven't seen it for a while, but oh well. :) Anyway, I'd best be off. I should go to bed right now too, but I think I'll stay up a bit longer. Must get up for church though. Sort of want to see someone there. *slaps self* Don't mind me, just my stupid girliness. *sigh* Arg to boys, I tell you! lol Night night!

So I watched SG-1 this evening as I tend to do most Mondays since you get five episodes in a row and guess what! The dreaded episode that I've been wanting to see where Martouf dies was just on! *sniff* Martouf got shot a bunch of times and then Carter shot him for the second time with the Zat. :( But now at least I have my "closure" and I've seen it and I know what happens. Very good episode and yay that we got a bit out of Jack about his feelings toward Carter and vise versa, but still, why'd they have to go and kill Martouf? I liked him! I must admit though, that he wasn't the same lovely Martouf in this episode as he was in the others, t'was sad, but true. But so now at least I've seen it. And speaking of SG-1 I still haven't ordered the season one box set yet. lol I might hold off and wait until I get the money to buy the other seasons that are out on DVD right now, we'll see.
I have more than I can post, but I really just wanted to write about seeing the SG-1 episode. lol I did watch Cold Mountain on Saturday afternoon though. Tammy and Ran came and watched it with me(the three of us were hanging out before I had to go to work and they decided they'd come watch it so I watched it too). It was pretty good, but I'm not totally sure what my thoughts are on it exactly. It's one of those movies that doesn't really fit in a category and I liked most of it, but there were a fair amount of things I didn't like too so it's hard to say. I guess that's all for that. lol And of course I worked yesteray and something actually happened on Friday at work, but I don't feel like going into it right now so maybe I'll talk about it another blog or something. I still need to figure out what all sides to the story are too so I need to try and not be judgemental on it right now. Well, I'm off. I need to get some e-mails checked and whatnot. And for those who are interested, I did work some on things for 2kaotic today, but I've not done the update yet, hopefully I will tomorrow. Today I watched Beethoven and Beethoven's 2nd on TV all morning instead of sitting at my computer. lol I was feeling a bit tired, but I should get lots of sleep tonight and feel rested for tomorrow, I hope. lol TTFN!

Monday evening Tammy called me up and asked me if I wanted to come over and have dinner with her family. :) I double checked that it was cool with my mom and off I went. lol We had this turkey soup stuff with tasty veggies in it, mashed potatoes, and I had a coulple slices of their leftover cold pizza. lol It was all very tasty. :) Tammy, her sister and I ended up watching American Idol on TV after dinner. They were going through some of the auditions they hadn't shown, etc. It was amusing. Hehe. Tammy happened to mention that she wanted to go see Win A Date With Tad Hamilton, but her boyfriend wouldn't go with her and I was all like, I wanna see it, I'll go. ;) lol So that's what we did yesterday night(aka Tuesday).
Before we went to the movie we went to Taco Time for dinner. I'd never really been there before. I think I might have gone once, but I only had some of the tater tot things because I'm a Taco Bell girl by nature. ;) lmao It was pretty good and I haven't had tater tots in a while so those were very tasty! :D Yum! lol While we were there Ran came in with her boyfriend to get dinner! lol Who'da thought that, eh? Hehe. So, we talked to her for a bit and her, Tammy and I might do something Saturday before I have to go to work. We'll see how that all pans out. Anyway, Tammy and I went to the theatre after we finished eating, got my paycheck from work, and then went back to her house so she could get a sweater. lol But oh, Win A Date With Tad Hamilton was SO cute! lol I really liked it. And I heart Pete and he's better looking than that Tad Hamilton guy anyway. ;) lmao
Today I got up at *gasp* 11:30 AM! lmao Well, I sort of laid in bed for an extra half-an-hour, but I wasn't really pressed for time so it was okay. ;) lol The reason was so that I could give Tammy a ride to the high school for her play practice. And lucky me, I get to wake up even earlier tomorrow to take her to school for a meeting to get her new classes scheduled. ;) lol I shall live and it'll give me a chance to start reading the new books she's letting me borrow while I wait for the meeting to finish. :)
We're switching car insurance companies. lol Mom decided today and I'm pretty sure Dad will agree with it too. It's cheeper than what we're paying right now and it's better coverage so I don't see much of a problem with it. Well, the only thing is that I'll have to shell out just over $800 in a week to pre-pay for a full year of insurance. Blarg. I was so excited that I'd finally saved up a bunch of money too. ;) lmao I'll still have a fair amount left over though so I'll manage to live. I'm considering getting another part-time job a few days a week so I can save up to buy a Toyota Matrix. Don't know if I will though because I might change my mind about wanting to buy a brand new car rather than a used one. lol Either way, I won't be buying anthing(as far as cars go) for a while(I hope).
I think I'm going to buy the SG-1 Season One DVD box set tonight or tomorrow. I'm very much enjoying having Season Two on DVD so I might as well spring for another one, right? lol I might be getting the other seasons that are out on DVD with my tax return money, haven't decided yet. My mom helped me(or did most of it, lol) to get my tax return stuff done yesterday. Technically I didn't have to file because I didn't make the minimum amount required to file, but it was to my benifit because now I get money back. Woo! lol That's exciting and it's much better than last year or the year before when I had to pay the government. That was not fun. lol Well, I shall be off now, I should reply to some e-mails and then go to bed so I can wake up on time. ;) Goodnight!
