Happy birthday Nickolas! :D lol Hopefully he had a good day while also behaving himself. ;)

So today I went to work and thought that, you know, I'd just watch Ben thread up the projector again, right? Wrong. lol We go upstairs and he goes, okay so the first thing you do is take that and stick it there and I'm like, "oh, I'm threading it?" lol So he told me what to do and I did it and, of course, he helped at the more difficult parts and whatnot. When we finished we went downstairs to see if anymore people were going to show up. lol We had 4 tickets sold when it was time to go start the movie so I went upstairs and it's a darn good thing that Ben came up with me. lol I hit the run button after doing a few things first and it just did NOT look right on the screen! lol Half the frame was missing and there were a whole bunch of these great lines on the left-hand side of the screen. lmao I killed it! Okay, so I didn't really end up killing it. I went downstairs and sold tickets to five more people while Ben fixed it. He re-threaded part of it up and it still was messed up when he noticed the little piece of metal I'd hit my arm on when we were threading it earlier. I didn't think it meant anything and he didn't really either, but it turns out that I knocked it just out of where it was supposed to be so all he had to do was pop it back into place and then it worked again! Yay! lol So at least I didn't totally botch up with threading it and I didn't rip the film to pieces so it wasn't really too bad and it was good for my ego to have a problem arise the first time I did it so I wouldn't get all full of myself, right? ;) Hehehe.

Other than that I really didn't do much today. I was up until 7 AM this morning talking to Aceetha and updating my trading page as well as my TCG before I finally went to bed. lmao Then I slept until an hour before I went to work and when I got home I chatted to a couple of people on AIM and milled about online. lol Then I watched a little TV and came back to the comp to update NickSTAR.com and blog here and now I'm going to go watch some TV, or more likely a movie since there's not much on TV tonight, so I shall say ta now. Ta! lol

Tomorrow is Nick's birthday. lol I know, I'm a dork, but I just had to get it out. ;) Hehehe. ANYWAY, today I spent the day with mommy. :D YAY! We went to lunch at Pizza Hut and it was so very tasty. *licks lips* Yum. Then we went to the movies and we saw Calendar Girls 'cause mom wanted to see it and I didn't really get a choice. ;) lol It was, umm, interesting. lol It was fairly funny, but definately not my kind of movie and most assuredly not a movie I would have gone to see on my own without having mom wanting to see it or something. lol Then we went to Wal*Mart and I din't buy anything. lol But, mommy bought some stuff for me including... *drumroll please* Care Bear valentines!!!!! :D *dances* I saw them, and they were cute so yeah. lol I haven't given out valentines in years though so this'll be interesting. lol I think the guys at work know by now that I'm a little crazy/silly though so hopefully it won't come as too much of a shock to them when I give them all Care Bears valentines. lmao They also had a big bag of candy corn at Wal*Mart for twenty-five cents so hopefully I won't die from those when I eat them. ;) lol Hopefully they're not too old and at least I know that God will protect me. :D

On Sunday I got to watch Ben thread up the projector! :D I get to learn how to do it!! lol I'm all excited. Brian K. was supposed to show me before, but he kept forgetting and would thread up the film before I got to work. lol He finally remembered on Sunday after I gave him a little reminder and Ben was going to thread it up so he just showed me. It doesn't really look hard at all, I'll just have to remember everything because the film has to go over and through a lot of different things and I'll just have to remember the order otherwise bad things could happen. lol And then Ben showed me how to control the sound stuff for the walk-in music and then how to switch it to the movie sound. Did you know that movies come with CDs that have the sound on them and a lazer reads the time codes off of the film to play it? Isn't that cool?! lol I thought so anyway. ;) Some movies don't have CDs and the lazer reads the sound completely off the film. It's quite interesting really. So anyway, I got to start the movie(you just push a button after it's all threaded pretty much, lol) and then Ben left me all alone up there to adjust the sound after the previews were over! I was all like, "Ben, don't leave me by myself!" lol I lived though and I didn't botch anything up so wee haw for me! :D Hopefully tomorrow I'll get to observer the threading of the film again and then soon I'll be trying to do it with someone watching and helping. :)

Let's see... what else do I remember since the last time I posted? lol Well, I know that on Thursday when I got home from seeing Chasing Liberty with Autumn and Andrew my Stargate SG-1 season two DVD box set was waiting for me!!! :D *sigh* Martouf... lol He's so cute! Darn it, why'd they have to kill him? I haven't seen that episode yet either, I just know he ends up being killed in Season 4. lol Anyway... I heart Martouf and SG-1 in 1969. lol And my new checks came that day too! :) I heart them. :) Oh yes and don't go see Chasing Liberty. I mean, there were a few cute parts and a few funny things, but overall I really didn't like it and it sort of rubbed me wrong. Autumn and Andrew said they liked it though so maybe it was just me, don't know, but I found it to be lacking in many areas and quite unwholesome/stupid. Mostly I just didn't like Mandy Moore's character. I think that's mainly what it was.

Oh yeah, and Wednesday night Autumn and I watched the Chapter One DVD and the For The Fans video. It was so very lovely to see the Boys. :) And of course, Autumn and I giggled to heck at the end of the For The Fans video. Nick's so adoreable in that! lol And he's got a great laugh. :) *sings* Want a slab of cheese... *falls out of chair laughing from just thinking of it* lol

Humm... Friday I know I worked and I recall it being a good day of work. lol I think I slept most of Saturday. Then I went to church on Sunday and was there for a long time because I had to get there early and stay for both services since it was my day to do projection and there was a special thing going on for service. It was okay. Then of couse I worked in the evening where I got to observe the film being threaded. And then yesterday... I don't remember what I did yesterday. lol Right now though I'm talking to Kriss on AIM about TCG things. lol She's feeding me new card deck possibilites for 2kaotic and we were also discussing how there should be TCGs for the rest of the Boys individually as well. Then I said that Amy and Mette should do an A-Rok TCG and Kriss said that there should be a nostrils deck and that that's the one she'd want to collect. lmao I really should have seen it coming. ;) Okay, I'll be off now. Goodnight!

I've been busy working on a new site the last few days and today I launched it! :) Any fans of Nick Carter and TCGs please go visit 2kaotic, my Nick Carter TCG! :D lol I got my starters pack and some cards for making buttons and then TEN people joined pretty much right after I opened it! lol They all referred me too so I got 10 more cards and now I have more cards than everyone else. lmao Oops... Others will surpass me soon though and I won't be earning many more cards for a while. ;) Gotta keep it fair, you know. :) Before I move on, one more plug for 2kaotic. :D

In other news... well, there really isn't any other news. lol I've just been hanging out at home and working. Oh, Autumn finally got a job though! Woo! That's pretty darn exciting. lol Her and I are hopefully going to go see a movie with Andrew on Thrusday, but I haven't gotten a call back from Andrew yet so I don't know. :) Autumn and I will probably go anyway even if Andrew can't because we both have the day off. Oooh... either that or we could maybe go to EMP. What fun! lol I'll have to wait and see on that stuff though.

Well, I know this is an exceedingly short entry compared to most all of my other entries, but I'm feeling a bit hungery and I've finally got the urge to make my broccoli quiche. :D lol I might also mix up the popyseed muffin mix while I'm at it and bake muffins. lol I know, I'm crazy. I bake late at night and I don't know why. ;) Happy baking to me now, ta ta!

I don't know why I've been having these long periods between blogs. I should try and be better about that 'cause it's sad to see all these big gaps in days between my posts. You know what though? I've got 1010 posts over at the Streeted Forums. :D lmao I am the queen of posting over there! At least some people are starting to catch up to me though... a little anyway. ;) Heh. Eventually someone else will hit a thousand so I'll just hold out and wait. :)

Today was the last day The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King was playing at the theatre so I went and watched it again. It was my third time watching it all the way though. You know, some kid came and paid to see it like eleven times! Now that's a fan, or something. lol It was good though, I must say, just as it was the first two times. Sometimes though, I just want to jump into the movie and whack a few people. lol You know, the stupid Steward of Gondor(mad props to Gandalf for whackin' him), some of the orcs, etc. Just the ones that are really stupid and aggitate me. ;) Hehehe.

This morning I went over to Tammy's house to hang with her for a bit. She doesn't have school for two weeks so I don't have to drive her early in the morning and we had extra time to do something. We watched a video of the play Sweeny Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street off of Broadway. lmao Yes, BARBER, as in a guy who shaves other guys' facial hair for a profession. lol It was... interesting. Tammy loves it. lmao She needs to play the crazy lady who turns out to be the wife who was still alive. She'd do great being all crazy and loopy for her character I think. ;) lol

Nothing notable is really jumping out at me to post about from the last few days. Except that I ordered the box set of season two for Stargate SG-1 yesterday! :D I don't have the first season yet, but the second season has my favorite episode(1969) on it and also the first two episodes where they meet the Tok'ra and therefore my lovely Martouf so since I could only afford to get one set for now, that's the one I chose. :D It should come in around 5-10 days, or so the site says, we'll see. ;) lol When it get's here I'm going to have a mini SG-1 marathon with my mom probably. lol Okie, well I'm off now. Gonna check e-mails and things. TTFN!

I went and saw Peter Pan again today. I took Ani with me. :) Yay for that movie! lol I want it to come out on DVD right now so I can have it and watch it again. It's so cute, I heart it so much and I want me a Peter... only older. ;) lol They got a great kid to play Peter in the movie though. I think he did very well. :) All the other kid actors too and then, of course, there's Jason Isaacs as Hook and he rocked. He's got mad acting skillz. Heh. :) Then Ani and I spent a whole of like 10 minutes at the arcade and then I took her home. We had lunch and did a little shopping before the movie too.

This morning I got up at 7 AM. I know, me, up at 7 AM and on a Saturday to boot! It's insane! Why was I up so early? Because I was going to pick up Tammy and her and I were going to go to the mall to do the weigh in thing for the Discovery Health Channel 12-week challenge deal. I'm sure some of you have heard of it. Anyway, I went and picked up Tammy(it was much easier to get out of the driveway today too, but more about that in a minute) and we drove to the mall and we ended up making really good time and got there a half an hour before anything was supposed to be open. But... there were a fair amount of cars and then we went up to the doors and the mall was already open so we went inside. And there was this lovely long line of people. Oh joy. lol This guy comes up and asks us if we were there for the weigh in and we say yes and he asks if we have cards. We're all like, "cards? no..." Turns out there was another line we had to get into first to get cards. The line had a good 200-300 people in it!!! And the cards had times written on them for when you could come back later in the day and only if you got a card did you get the free three month pass to Bally Fitness. It became apparent rather quickly that we weren't going to end up with passes and Tammy couldn't wait that long in line and it was just so not going to be worth it. So we left and went to Starbucks and got carmel apple ciders and then went back to her house. lol We're going to look into just getting memberships at the local gym and see if they're afordable for us. :) We'll see how that all goes. ;) lol

Yesterday Tammy called me up and asked me if I was doing anything and I said no save for working in the evening. So her and I decided to go see a movie. I was going to drag her to see Peter Pan(she doesn't really want to see it, so sad), but then it took me a whole half an hour to get out of the driveway and onto the main road where it was plowed! lol It was crazy. I kept going from drive to reverse and trying to rock the car to get it up over these icey bumps. lol I finally cried out to God for help and shortly after that I managed to get on the road and not hit any cars in the process(I backed out the whole way save for when I had to move forward to get unstuck again, lol). I was shoutin' praises to God as soon as I hit the snow-free pavement! lol We ended up just going to do a bit of shopping and I got some CDs and whatnot and then it was off to work which was same-old pretty much.

So you might have guessed by the trouble I had getting out of the driveway that we got more snow after daddy and I built our snow volcano. We got another good 6" probably. It was crazy and I pretty much didn't leave the house for three full days durning this whole thing. lol But praise be to God, we didn't lose our power at all during that time! :D YAY! lol That was quite the good thing considering it was a bit colder than we're used to around here. ;) Heh.

That's pretty much what's happened lately. Nothing real exciting. Oh wait, except that yesterday was not only Alex's b-day(HAPPY BE-LATED BIRTHDAY ALEX!!!! I love you! *hugs*), but it was also the season premeire of Stargate SG-1! Woo! It was on while I was at work so mommy was lovely and she taped it for me and I watched it when I got home. I have a few things to say about it, but I already said them to Tammy this morning and to mom last night and I don't think many of you are in tune with SG-1 so I'll just go through that on here. ;) Hehehe. Well, off I go. I've been up so long I'm starting to feel a bit tired and such so I think I might go to bed soon... woah. TTFN, ta ta for now!

The power went out yesterday shortly after I blogged. (Sorry Kriss!) It was weird too because it wasn't windy and the sky was clear at the time. It was weirder still when we noticed that the neighbors across the street and down a few house still had their power! lol It was just us and our two next-door neighbors that didn't have lights. lol We didn't find out what had gone wrong, but it might have been a blown fuse or something. Either way, at least the power was back on when I got home from work. :D I got to leave work early 'cause we had such a small crowd. I was glad. I told the boys they could handle it so I hope everything went okay for them last night. :)

I watched some of Cast Away when I got home with mom and dad. It was on TV. Good movie, horrible ending. lol I just have to never watch the ending again and I'll be okay. ;) Then I got on the computer and checked e-mail, etc. Basically I was bored and didn't really know what to do. Eventually I went over to Josie's Dollz. I thought maybe I'd try my hand with a bit of pixel art again since I wanted to do something in Photoshop, but I couldn't come up with any layout ideas. lol ;) After a while I finally got to work and I made a Peter and Wendy doll and then one of just Peter Pan alone. :D Wanna see?

Peter & Wendy           Peter Pan

Aren't they cute! lol I mean, they're not much compared what some people can do with pixels on a doll base, but they're pretty good for me. :D I used the Chunkeez bases that Josie had made and then I did the clothes and hair. :) I also made a Nickerman one from the same base as the one of just Peter, but I'm not gonna put it up just yet. ;)

Today daddy and I went out into the yard to play in the snow. :) We had great intentions to build a snowman, but it's the wrong kind of snow for that. See, our snow is all powdery and won't stick together. lol So yeah, no snowman. We were trying, but then it just turned into a giant mound of snow. So, daddy being the creative man he can sometimes be, suggested a pyramid and then it became a volcano. lol And then I had the idea of using red food coloring to make lava. Hehehe. So we had mom brew us up some red water and we pored it on the volcano and then I was thinking we needed trees so dad got the idea of using little branches with pine needles. lol So yes, today my father and I built a snow volcano. Heh. :D

All right, well, I shall be off for now. I think I need to go cruise the members list over at Heaven-Ly again in hopes of finding someone with Nick cards I don't have who's willing to trade. lol Oh yes, and any of you who are BSB fans and can make a little website for your cards and haven't joined, I'd be much obliged if you'd join and put me(HoL) in as your referrer because then I'll get a random card and it'll make me all happy and excited. :D lol Please? Anyway, off I go now. TTFN!

So, I've finally got the chance to blog. :) Technically I could have before, but I choose to watch movies until all hours of the night instead. Heh. I worked all day on Saturday and it snowed pretty much the entire day as well. We've got at least 6" still. lol We get more tonight as well so wee haw for the snow! It hasn't snowed this much here in YEARS! I still haven't gotten to go out and play in it though. :( Sadness. Maybe if we get a bunch more snow tonight and no one can leave the house tomorrow I'll build a snowman with my parents or something. ;)

Yesterday I also worked all day pretty much. The computer broke too before the first show. Not good. lol But at least not very many people at all came so it wasn't too hard to do everything by hand without the computer. I don't think anyone wanted to drive around yesterday unless they had to. Man, I was going to blog some stuff about what happened at work too and now I can't remember. I at least remember that I was going to because I told Wes that I blog about all the guys at work. lol Humm... I know I had Wes try his hand at making another bracelet and this time it worked out. He didn't finish it yesterday at work, but once I sort of fixed the beginning of it for him, he did really good. :) I also bought a new domain while I was at work yesterday. lol It was bound to happen and I haven't gotten one in ages so... yup, bought one. ;) Some people know what it is because I was asking them if they thought it would be cool to buy. And now I've got a few other names in mind so we'll see what happens. ;) lol Brian K. got me dinner last night too. Mom drove me to work so I didn't have a car and I couldn't go get food and I forgot to ask Brian to get me something when he went for lunch so it's a good thing that he got hungry for dinner after the second show started. lol He wanted to go to Burger King so I ate hamburgers and he had me try one of his onion rings because he said the ones from FatBurger didn't count(I'd tried one on Friday). lol I still didn't really like them. They don't have enough flavor for me or something.

And now it's today and it is MIGHTY cold outside! lol Not that I've even been outside at all yet today, but I looked at the thermometer and that was enough for me. ;) I'll have to go out for a bit later though for work. I'll survive. I found my big poofy coat in the closet the other day so I'm staying warm. I'd forgotten that I had it though. lol All righty, I don't think there was any sort of purpose to this post so ta ta. lol

Much hugs n' such to Aceetha and Mel for signing my lonely guestbook. :) It thanks you and so do I. ;) lol Also, thanks to everyone who tagged. *hugs* I decided to take a break from making card decks for 2kaotic and come here and blog before it became tomorrow. lol Speaking of tomorrow, real quick, I don't know if I'll blog at all for the next two days. Depends on how tired I am. I work pretty much all day tomorrow and Sunday. We'll see though. ;)

Today mom, dad and I went to the movies. It was originally just going to be mom and me and we were going to see Mona Lisa Smile which I'm not crazy about seeing, but Sam said it was good so, who knows. lol But then my dad couldn't make it to work this morning 'cause of the snow or something early in the morning so he decided to come with us and we changed the movie to Cheeper By The Dozen. It was pretty funny. Some stuff was just... wrong. lol But it was still funny and I at least got entertainment value out of it. Poor Mark though, no one paid attention to him and he was such a cute little red-headed boy! lol But in the end they all valued him, so that was good. ;)

After that we went and ran a few errands and we stopped at FatBurger for food. I'd never eaten there and originally I didn't want to considering the name. lol But Tammy told me they had really good burgers a while back and that eventually I'd have to do there. Well, I went today and the burger was pretty good and I got a tasty chocolate milk shake so all's well with that I guess. ;) lol After that we did some more errands and we went by the theatre so mom and I could get our paychecks. Everyone also got a $50 year-end bonus so that was definately a nice thing. :D lol Well, I take that back, everyone but the two new guys who've only been working for a few weeks. ;) lol Man though, I have WAY too much taxes taken out of my check! lol On the bright side though, I should get a nice tax return. :D

Well, best be off now. Gotta try and make another card deck and wander aimlessly around the net for a while before I go to bed. Heh. :D Anyway, thanks again for everyone's comment on the layout. :) I might end up puting up a new one soon though, depends if I get any inspiration for a new one. lol TTFN!

Happy New Year. :) And, as is my custom each year, here's a new layout and I've started off the blog fresh again. Anything older than today's entry can be seen in the ye old archives section. I hope you all like this layout feat. Clay Aiken. I'm really enjoying his CD and I didn't have any other ideas for a layout, so Clay it was! ;) lmao Please sign the guestbook with your comments, k? Tags are nice too, but my guestbook has been feeling rather lonely since the taggy came back. So yes, it would love you if you signed it. Hehe.

I didn't end up going with my parents to the party thing. I was still feeling a bit too sick. I'm feeling sort of better now though. :) We figured though that it would be best for me not to go because I probably wouldn't have lasted the whole time there and also because it's not a very polite thing to do to infect other people with your cold germs on purpose, you know? lol I got to keep a bottle of Cran-Apple Cider all for myself though so that helped to keep me happy. ;) I love that stuff.

So, after my parents left I decided I'd watch some TV or a movie for a while so I went to look at the TV guide. I noticed that Edward Scissorhands was about to start and I've never seen it so I thought, heck, I'll give it a shot. Plus, you know, Nick has a VERY small part as an extra in that movie. ;) lol But I either missed that or it was cut out to fit in the allotted time for TV viewing. One or the other. Anyway, the movie was definately a bit different, as is Tim Burton's style, but it was good I guess. Mostly I thought it was sad. Every time Edward did something to try and help or something good then the stupid townspeople would twist it all around and make him out to be evil. :( Arg. Poor Edward.

After that I watched the Disney channel stuff off and on until around midnight. I was sort of thinking of not bothering to watch any of the fireworks stuff on TV, but I changed my mind and turned the channel two minutes before midnight to watch the fireworks at the Space Needle. There were a lot of fireworks. lol I didn't think there'd be that many. You know, I expect that in like New York or whatever, but I didn't really expect that for around here. lol They showed a little of the fireworks at Disneyland too, those were pretty rad. It'd be fun to spend New Years Eve at Disneyland. I'll have to make a mental note about that for a future time or something. ;)

I guess that's it for now. I need to finish up this blog entry and do a few touch-ups to the stylesheets because I forgot to do them beforehand. Oops. lol I'd like to say I'm going to go to bed soon too, but I'm not really feeling tired at all so I think perhaps I'll play on the comp for a while yet or I'll watch a movie. Princess of Theives sounds like a good choice for a movie, then I'll get my archery-lovin' in right off the bat this year. ;) lol I heart Froderick in that movie too. :D Anyway, I hope you all had nice evenings and I pray you all have a lovely year. :) TTFN!
