Well, absolutely NO ONE came to watch the movie tonight. lol A couple people came thinking we were starting Brother Bear, but they left when they found out we were still showing School Of Rock. Oh yes, and some guy stopped in to buy a large popcorn. lol We didn't even get any trick-or-treaters so now I've got a lot of candy to get rid of. lol I'm thinking I'll just bring it back to work with me tomorrow and someone there will eat it. ;) Oh yeah, and happy Halloween I guess. I'm not big into this holiday, I never really do anything. Except that a few years ago I did purchase Streeted.net on Halloween night. lol I did sort-of dress up for work though. I went as a crazed BSB fan and Brian K. told me I didn't dress up because I always look like that, but I've never worn BSB stuff to work before. lol Whatever. I also used some of mom's eyeshadow to write BSB rox! on my face. Man, was I ever cool or what? ;) Next time I so decide to have BSB Pride Day on Halloween, I should try and get some guys to dress up like Backstreet Boys so then it'll at least be a bit more fun. Hahaha.
*yawns* I'm already feeling tired right now. I guess that's sort of good though because I really ought to be getting to bed by like one tonight. lol I'm going over to Tammy's tomorrow before work for lunch so I've got to get myself up around 10:30 AM. Okay, well I don't really have anything else to say so I guess I'll go. Ta ta!

*laughs* Kriss thinks 66 F is cold! Hehehe. lol No, it's okay Kriss, I'm a Californian by birth and I used to think that was cold too. ;) Up here though, it gets to be actually cold. lol Not as cold as some places, but below freezing means cold. Speaking of that, it's supposed to get down to like 20 F tonight or something according to the boys at work. Brian J. says that means snow, but it's highly unlikely because we hardly ever get snow around here. Snow up at the pass, yeah, we get a good amount of that, but otherwise the last few years we've gotten hardly anything. Sadness, I love snow. :D I should go visit Sam for the winter and then I'd be sure to see LOTS of snow!
You know, I love the guys at work, but sometimes when it's just one girl(being me) and a bunch of boys, I hear a LOT of things I really don't want to hear. For instance, what was talked about today at work, I didn't want to hear that. lol I didn't want to see some things in relation to it either! Oy! Nothing BAD, but I will not impart it all to you because if I didn't want to know it, you probably don't want to know it either. lol Just thought I'd mention that while guys can be highly amusing, they can also be... yeah. Just thought I'd say that. ;)
Again, I haven't really done much today. Mostly the only times I go out of the house are to go to work and Russian class on Tuesdays. I'm feeling that "I have no friends" depression thing again. I mean, I have friends, but like, I never see or talk to them hardly. Okay, guess I ought to go. Gotta get things done and I think I might have a snackage and watch a little TV in a bit too. TTFN!

I present to you the, not exactly complete, yet still launched today on the anniversary of Now Or Never, NickSTAR.com website! Woo! :D lol
Basically the only thing that's up is the wallpapers and the domain section and the layout, of course. lol I blanked on how quick today was coming up so I only made the layout last night, coded it today and did a bit of the content today. lol Oy! Anyway, I wanted to launch it today, so I did. Complete or not, that's okay. I'll have more stuff up tomorrow and the next few days. Until then there's at least the wallpapers which I think are pretty. :D
You know what I learned today? Well, besides that one should plan farther ahead in opening a domain, lmao? I learned that yes, boiling bacon grease hurts when it jumps up on your skin, but it's nothing compared to accidentally hitting your little finger on the lid that was coving the hash browns. lol My finger's feeling much better now though, which is good. I was hurting pretty good an hour ago which was about a half an hour after I actually burned it. But now I've got breakfast burrito makings. ;) Hahaha.
Let's see, I guess it has been a bit since my last blog, I hadn't really realized. Umm... Saturday I worked, Sunday I worked. Monday I woke up and did nothing and then I worked. lol Do you see a pattern here? Yesterday I had off, but I had Russian class in the evening. I also watched Reign of Fire last night besides making the layout for NickSTAR. It seems that every time I watch that movie, I realize even more as to how well it was made and thought through. I recall that when I went to the theatre to see it with Autumn and Ani, that I liked it, but it seemed like it didn't all work. I remember Ani didn't like it at all. But then I bought it 'cause I did like it a fair amount and it's got Christian Bale in it and I heart him. And now, I think they did a really good job putting that movie together. I love the color style they shot it in, the graphics of the dragons are VERY nicely done, and the plot it well thought out and they explained everything that needed to be explained. I highly reccomend this movie, but watch it more than once because I think it's only the second time that you really begin to appreciate it. :)
So yes, I guess I'll end this here. I didn't really do much today besides work on NickSTAR.com and make bacon while mommy made hash browns. I made up a scrambled egg too, just in case you were wondering. Other than that, nothing really. I think I need to get out of the house and go DO something soon. Yup, that sounds nice. Maybe Autumn has some money and she'll go to EMP with me or something. ;) Anyway, off I go! G'night!

Did you know ice is leathal? Well, of course we sort of know that from X-Men and all with my baby Iceman, but like, ice in real life is leathal too! lol Let me explain. I got to work today and went to get ice from upstairs for the soda machine and it was all stuck together in this giant clump so I had to break it up. Well, we've got a butter knife that we use to break it up by jabbing it into the ice. Apparently I was getting too angry with the ice or something because when I jabbed down my knuckles got sliced on the ice. lol Yeah, the ice split open the knuckles on three of my fingers and they were bleeding. No blood got on the ice or anything and it wasn't like it was spilling out, but it didn't feel good either. lol So, I went looking for bandaids, but we didn't have any and Brian K. and Ben were telling me to duck-tape them. *rolls eyes* Then guess what! Two minutes later, the health inspector showed up out of the blue! lmao
Was that not the most perfect timing or what? So, I went next store and got bandaids from them and fixed up my hand before the health lady saw. She would not have been happy if she'd noticed, I can tell you that. No problems though as far as the inspection went. She told the guys they need to get food handlers cards(I have one from past jobs) and a few other things, but nothing major and we weren't doing anything bad or anything so that's all well. The whole rest of the day the guys were slamming the whole thing though and complaining about it. lol
I had two interesting dreams last night. lol The first was rather odd, but then again that seems to be a regular thing with my dreams. Anyway, it had to do with getting off the freeway and the off-ramp was this steep downward sloping one and I started to go down it and the light turned yellow and I tried to slow down, but the brakes wouldn't work so I ran the light when it was red and then proceeded to run 3-4 more red lights, got pulled over and then ended up at a mall somehow right after I got pulled over so the cop never talked to me. lol Then a bunch of wierd stuff happened in the mall and the cop came in there and I said what I'd done, but that it wasn't my fault and the cop was all sympathetic and basically just said not to worry about it and went away. Then I was rather upset and crying and this guy came and was WAY sweet to me and gave me this bracelet and smiled and... yeah... lol That was the end of that one and if any of you are wondering, the guy was a real guy I know and there were a lot of other people I know in that dream, but I'm not telling anyone any names. lol
My second dream was that the Backstreet Boys were going on tour again! Sweet, eh? So, I went to the concert with my mom and we had seats just right of the center in the third row. We were waiting for the guys to come out and I was wondering if Nick was going to be there or not because for some reason, that wasn't certain. So, the guys came out and sang a song and me, my mom, and like two other people were the only ones that clapped and everyone else was SILENT. Freaky, yes. lol So Kevin, Brian, Alex, and Howie did another song and like ran around in the audience and then my dream skipped to the concert being over and my mom and I were walking out and suddenly my dad was there. lol So we're walking out and then 10 feet to my left comes Kevin walking in the opposite direction with no security around him and no one was swarming him or anything! So, I look at him and he looks at me and I say Hi and so does he then he asks if I'm going to come get a hug or not and I'm all like, "I'm allowed to have a hug?" and he says yes so I SKIP(lmao) over and give him a hug and he talks to me and hugs back and all's happy. :D lol Then I went walking around and I saw Nick and tried to yell and say hi, but he just ignored me and was acting really, just, like snotty or something and had this group of people around him and no fans were going near him. So, I wound up going outside with my parents and to the back of the arena to see where the other Boys were. I saw Howie and he was surrounded by fans talking to them and then I saw AJ and he was only talking to one other girl so I went and said hello and we were all buddy-buddy and I got my picture taken with him and then we did a silly picture(I love silly pictures). Kevin saw and came over and joined in the pictures and that's mostly what I can remember from all of that. lol
You want to know what's sort of funny though? I went over to BML a bit ago and there was a little summery of stuff Nick said on a radio interview recently. Here's the little bit from over there of what Nick said with my comments in italics.
- He'll be doing another horror film in January. (Cool I guess, but I'm not big into horror movies, we'll see.)
- New cd in February, then he'll tour.(YES!)
- He'll still be playing the drums and guitar on tour, but he'll also have dancers this time around and be dancing himself.(Yay! He's gonna dance again! *dances*)
- He'll still be doing some rock, but with more urban-based sounds.(Sounds cool.)
- Backstreet should be getting back together in March or April to discuss the next album.(AHHH!!!! YES! And I had that dream last night and everything. ;) lol)
- He's "definitely single".(No comment. *giggles*)
That was quite the happy thing to read! :D That gives me hope to resurect one of the "master plans" I had a while back. Hehehehe. *starts to plot out the plan* This'd be so cool if it came to be. But, on with the post!
Hey Sam, did you find that Nemo yet, eh? ;) lmao And I haven't seen Brother Bear yet either. Mainly 'cause it's not out till next Saturday. ;) lol And Ani, just for you, or well, others can enjoy it too. A Russian lesson! :D THe first line is the word in Russian, then how you pronouce it(as best as I can do, lol), and then what it means.
Привет
pre-ve-yet
Hi (informal)
Как вас зовут?
kak vas zavoot
What is your name? (more litterally how is your name, but that doesn't sound right so... lol)
Меня зовут Холи.
menya zavoot Holly(roughly, lol)
My name is Holly.
Приятно познакомиться.
preyatna poz-na-ko-meet-sya
Nice to meet you.
And, from my last post...
До свидания
do-svee-dahn-ya
Good-bye.
So there you go, a little Russian lesson. I'm not sure how well any of you will be able to figure out the pronunciation, but you can try! lol It'd also be easier if you knew the alphabet, but yeah, I'm pretty sure most all of you(or all of you completely, lol) don't know that. ;) Anyway, ta ta for now!

I got to work tonight a little late. When I walked out of the house I stepped in nasty crap from some sort of animal and therefore had to go spray off my shoe for a bit before I could leave. lol Oh, it did it ever smell bad! Yuk! lol Anyway, so I got to work and got to see Brian K.'s finished friendship bracelet. It came out quite nice. :) There's a few boo-boos here and there, but considering it was his first one and a slightly more difficult pattern, I think he did very well and I really like how it looks. I want one that looks like it now because the colors came out so cool, but I'll have to wait a good year before I can do that otherwise it would be weird. lol
As I was unfolding popcorn bags before people started coming, Ben asked me how my Russian class was going, so I told him. Then he said to let him know once I could read it so I could help him with something. lol I told him I already can read it, but I'd need like an English-Russian dictionary(I need to buy one of those actually, lol) to translate it. And here comes the funny part that gave me a great laugh... He said he needed me to help him so he could mail order a Russian bride. lmao I did not see that coming at all and it gave me quite the kick. lol Then he was saying how I'd probably mess it up though and get him a short fat chick instead of a tall, skinny blonde and I said that, yeah, I would. ;) Hehehe. I thought that was quite funny anyway so I shared it with you all.
We had a small crowd of movie-goers tonight, just about 20 people. It's to be expected since we're starting into the third week of the movie. I don't know why they chose to keep this movie for another week, because we didn't have to, but maybe there was nothing better that we were able to get, who knows. I did find out though that the special event we're having next week is some guy premeiring his snowboarding DVD. Not of any interest to me, but the guys all might end up enjoying it. Well, off I go! До свидания!

I worked on a lot of stuff today. I was originally planning to take Tammy and my niece Aowyn to EMP for the day, but Tammy called last night 'cause baby had to get a check-up today. Just one of those rutine things at least so all's well. :) We're going to try and reschedule for another time. Don't know when that'll be though. So let's see, I stayed up late watching Princess of Theives last night since I didn't have to wake up early after all. lol Froderick is definately my favorite in that movie. Hehehe. Although, the guy who plays Prince Philip in the movie, well, I don't think he looks good as Philip, but as himself on the DVD extra thing... dayum! lol Stephen Moyer, that's who it is. :) But I still love my Froderick. Hehe.
So, I woke up... I don't know when, like around noon or 1pm or something like that, today. I got up and started working on John's website(aka the paid site project). I got a good amount of stuff done and it'll be finished pretty soon. :) It'll probably be able to be open to the public tomorrow provided John sends me a welcome message for putting on the index page. lol I've still got a fair number of pictures left to add, but I should be able to get most of what's remaining done by tomorrow night. I was thinking of working on that some more tonight, but I've got a bit of a headache and, get this, I actually sort of feel tired. I'm thinking I'll watch some TV or a movie and then go to bed after I'm done posting this. Who knows, maybe I'll even get up when it's actually still morning tomorrow! *shock* Freaky, eh?
I also made banana nut bread today. It's quite tasty too. :D lol I had three slices two hours ago or something like that when it was cool. I've been meaning to make it since we moved in here and I kept forgetting. All I can say is the bananas were good and ripe when I peeled them to put in the blender. lmao But, that's the way you want them for banana nut bread, so it was really a good thing that I waited so long. ;)
After that I did more work on John's site while I waited for the bread to cool and then I had my three slices and watched some of the latest Disney Channel movie. It's called The Little Vampire and well, I missed most of the beginning, but what I saw wasn't terrible and I laughed a few times. lol I guess that means it was all right.
Speaking of movies, I got an e-mail from my boss at the theatre the other night and we're keeping School of Rock for another week which means we're going to have like no customers this week sicne it's the third week we've had it. lol Oh well. We're also going to open Brother Bear on Nov. 1st, which is a Saturday. That's cool with me, the preview looks cute, although, I could only find one good review of it so far. But then again, I typically dissagree with most of the reviews on movies, so. lol Oh, and I'm working on Halloween, which, I don't really even know why we're going to be open that night. This is mainly a kid show and everyone's going to go trick-or-treating or to a party if they're older. And I don't have a Halloween bandana to wear to work... I'll have to see if I can find something so I can be a little festive or something. I wonder if we'll get free candy for working that night? *ponders* That'd be nice.
All righty, I guess I'd best be off. Still don't know what I'm going to do for the rest of the night. For some reason I think it's far later than it really is. Donno. Okay, we'll I guess I'll start with checking the second episode of Who's Line for tonight. It starts in a bit. Perhaps Chip will be on and it will be an extra funny episode. Ta ta!

Once again, with the help of the Lord Almighty, man, or woman in this case, has conquered technology! :D lol Everything works and my mom is now on the internet on her computer while I'm on it on mine. :D Yay! Anyway, I prayed and I talked to a very nice lady at Comcast customer support and she told me how to setup the connection manually(turns out Windows XP is evil... I always knew it, lol and it doesn't like the Comcast install CD very much). So, I got that computer to connect via the modem finally so that was good. :) Then I re-connected the modem up to my computer and hooked up the little wireless receiver on their computer and there were a few little hang-ups, but now everything works wonderfully! *dances around with joy*
Further hugs to Tamanna and Tori for comments on the layout. And also to Tori, I recall reading about your many problems with routers. Blarg. But I think I lucked out and got a good router or something because that was never the problem, it was just Comcast/Windows XP making things difficult. lol All right, well, I'd best be off. I've got Russian again tonight and I was really hoping to get some other things done before I've got to leave, but there's not much time left now. lol I'll just have to do it when I get home and whatnot. Off I go! TTFN!
Guess who just spent a very, VERY long time wasting time trying to solve problems with getting the cable internet hooked up on the other computer? ME! And only me. I got the router and everything installed on my comp just hunky dory and, obviously, I can connect to the internet through it, no prob. So, I go and start to get the stuff for the other computer all setup and installed so my parents can have the internet again too. Well, problems. Actually, the same problem over and over and over and over again. lol So, I do a system restore finally to get back to the settings before I was trying to install the Comcast software. Then I install these modem drivers and hook the actual modem up on that computer(ow to my index finger on my right hand for having to unscrew the cable so many times, cause it's extra tight fitting). I thought that would solve my problem, but NO. And I freakin' checked all the possible "solutions" on the help screen and everything was setup fine. Finally, I gave up for the time being. Maybe it will miraculously work tomorrow when I turn on that computer. I prayed that God would take it and handle the problem for me so we'll see what his answer is. Now, I'm going to try not to think about it any more.
Major hugs to Kriss, Ani, Jamie, Mel, and Rebecca for their comments on the new layout. :) *hugs* That was a nice thing to see after the lovely fun I've been having tonight. lol At least I didn't get so mad about everything as I would have a while back. God's definately doing things to change me so that's good. I'm oposite of a lot of people, I like change. Well, most of the time anyway. ;) lol Nighty, night!

New layout feat. the Boys. :D Yayness! lol This is what I did last night instead of watching the movie or working on other things. I was hit with a sudden layout inspiration and so, here it is. ;) This is the fastest I've ever changed layouts at this site too! It's not that I didn't like my SG-1 layout, I just made this and I never like to do that thing where you pre-make a layout and then wait a while to put it up. That's just no fun for me.
Well, just dropped in to tell you all about the layout. Although, I'm pretty sure you noticed all on your own, eh? Please sign the guestbook(link on the side area, scroll down a bit) and let me know what you think. I was even a good girl and I updated the guestbook layout to match this layout. lol :) Oh yes, and just as a note, this domain's b-day is coming up near the end of next month. I've had this domain the longest of all of them and this will be its three-year birthday. :D

So I finally got to go to church this morning! lol I haven't been for at least two Sundays 'cause mommy let me sleep. They went to second service today though so I went along. :) The message was, egh, I don't know, it didn't really hit me or whatever. But, there was a very nice thing at the end that our Pastor did. He was teaching us on value and he had a $10 bill and asked for anyone who wanted it to raise their hand. Then he crumpled it up and asked if anyone still wanted it, and everyone raised their hands. Finally, he set it on the ground and stomped on it and ground it in with his foot and asked again, and of course, people still had their hands up. The point was that just because the bill was all messed up, doesn't mean it's value went down, it's still worth ten dollars and so even when a person's broken and their life is in shambles, they're value hasn't changed to the Lord. I liked it. :) And no, I didn't raise my hand for the $10 'cause I knew what he was getting at so he gave it to two girls to share. lol ;)
After church mom and I went by the store and then we came home and we all had lunch before heading out for the day. We went and got our router delema hopefully solved. lol See, niether of our computers had ethernet ports, so we had to get one and we got this cool little USB to ethernet hookup thing for my comp. So, tomorrow, I get to install more drivers and software on both my computer and my parents and get the router and everything hooked up so that my parents can have cable internet on their computer too. lol I've been hogging it all to myself since we got it connected. ;) Haha!
I went to the mall for a bit after we got the stuff from Best Buy for the comp, but I didn't buy anything because there was nothing that I really like. Well, there were these phat pants, but they were hung up high on the wall at Wet Seal so I couldn't even reach to see the price so I just said forget it. Blarg. They were probably at least $30 though and I don't know that I'd have wanted to spend that much on a pair of pants right now. After that, we drove over to a near-by movie theatre and watched Under The Tuscan Sun. I don't know about that movie, it started out okay, but then it got weird and there was this annoying, long sex scene and I walked out of the theatre thinking, "What was the point of that?!" I mean, she got everything she wanted in the end and all was happy, but the whole movie was just... like pointless. Granted, parts of it were funny, but I wouldn't really reccommend it save for maybe renting it if you really thought it looked good.
We went to Wal*Mart after that and I got the soundtrack to Kim Possible off the Disney Channel. Yup, it's true. lol I really like the "Say The Word" song that Christy Carlson Romano sings and it was only 13 bucks, no big, as Kim would say. ;) lol That cartoon rocks though. Gotta love Ron and Rufus too! :D I also got Princess of Theives. It's a Disney movie about the daughter of Robin Hood. And well, those of you that don't know, I've got a serious thing for all that is Robin of Locksley related and I love archery so it just made sense. I'd never seen it before though so I was taking a bit of a gamble on it. It was great though. And I must say, I gotta love my Froderick though. Such a cute, brave monk boy. *giggles* lol I also got the original Swiss Family Robinson because I've been wanting it on DVD for a while now. I've got it taped off of TV from a LONG time ago so the VHS tape is sort of having problems now. lol I think perhaps I'll watch that tonight or tomorrow even. I was gonna get The Core too because I really did end up liking that movie a lot more than I thought I would so I wanna get it now, but it wasn't on sale like the other two DVDs so I thought it'd be best not to spend over $50. lol So, I had them put it back for me. Sadness, but I shall get it eventually I think. :)
Then we went to dinner, but I didn't really want anything they had there and I wasn't that hungry anyway, so I went to the arcade! :D lol And I got to play a whole total of three games of ParaPara before I had to leave to go back to the restaurant to pick up the rents. :) Oh, and as a note, I somehow picked up the slang rents short of parents a while back and so I use that, but don't take it as an insult or anything 'cause I love my parents and I like doing stuff with them sometimes. Just thought I'd point that out. ;) Anyway, after that we came home and I watched Princess of Theives and here I am now at the computer. Now I'm going to go and either watch Swiss Family Robinson or work on website stuff. Or maybe I'll do a combination or something. Sort of got a headache though so we'll see. Anyway, I'm off! I've got some plans for the week so another blog should be coming reasonably soon. Ta ta!

Do you know what a great skill all girls should learn and know is? How to make friendship bracelets! lol Why? Because they look cool and guys dig 'em too so it's a good bonding thing to teach them how to make them too. ;) lol I think you get what I'm going at here. lol If not, yes, I taught some of the boys at work to make friendship bracelets tonight. Wes asked me last time we worked together so I brought stuff with me since he was on the schedule for tonight. Then Brian K. saw the stuff and thought it was cool so he wanted to learn how to make one too. lol Anthony was actually the first to ask about it though, but I haven't taught him yet 'cause he doesn't work much. I made him two though so that should keep him plenty happy for now. lmao So yes, friendship bracelets rock man! ;) And it was nice to have the guys talking about something other than video games so that I could chime in. Hehe.
Well, I haven't been blogging much mostly because I haven't been doing much. Hopefully there will be some things worth blogging about this coming week. I'm doing stuff tomorrow so hopefully that'll give me blogging material to work with. :) Until then!

I don't feel too lovely right now. I have a headache, I'm a bit cold, and my emotional health is down. I got back from my frist Russian lesson a bit over an hour ago. It didn't go quite like I'd hoped. The teacher went way too fast, expected us to know things we hadn't been taught yet and did the horribly evil thing where she pointed at everyone in the room to say something. And of course, I didn't know the answer being that I pretty much knew NOTHING about the Russian language before I got there tonight. You know? And I mean, there were some others that didn't know when they were asked either, but I guess a fair amount of people in the class already knew the alphabet and whatnot so apparently she thought she could skip over some things or something and it wouldn't matter. So far it sort of looks like most of my knowledge is going to come from the book and the tapes. You know what else was lovely? She didn't even know what book we'd all been told to buy. Whatever. I'm trying to make myself have a positive outlook that next week will be better. We'll see.
I guess before I talk about what went on earlier today, I ought to do some re-caping. Friday I worked and we opened The School of Rock. I watched part of it the first show and it was, you know, all right. Sort of funny, but not the best movie ever for sure. I'm sure something else happened, but I don't remember. Saturday Aunt Maureen got in, but I was working so I didn't see her till I got home. Work was okay until near the end of my shift. I was selling tickets the second show and a TON of people started showing up 15-20 minutes before showtime and more people would come as I gave the ones waiting tickets so there was a good line going. Now, normally we don't give out tickets. We just take the money and say they can just come right in. But on nights we're pretty sure are going to be busy, we print tickets and take them inside so that people don't try and sneak in. So we were printing tickets and that makes it take a little bit longer with the customers sometimes when paying and the customers might want to write a check so that adds on time as well, etc. About 10 minutes before showtime my boss comes into the box office to tell me that I need to hurry up and get the people outside in as fast as possible. I didn't say it, but in my mind I was all like, "I'm going as fast as possible." A bit later she asks me if I want Matt to take over because maybe he could do it better. I don't think she meant to, but that offended me. Like, apparently I'm not good enough and I can only do certain jobs there or something. So I told her, not in the nicest way unfortunately, that it was her call. So another minute or two later she said Matt should take over so he took my place and I got to be "the extra man" which is basically the person who hardly does anything because we've got more than enough people and they're just there to get ice or a bottled drink from the fridge, maybe butter some of the popcorns. I was still feeling offended and unhappy so I don't think I was the most pleasant person working just then. I finally talked myself out of my sourness and the guys seemed to be extra nice to me just then so I felt better. I really don't know about guys a lot of the time, but every once in a while they're really nice to me so that always makes me feel a little special if even just for a little bit.
I was up late on Saturday night, as is pretty usual, so mom didn't even bother to wake me for church even though I thought I'd told her to at least try. Oh well. Aunt Maureen was going to take us out to dinner so we started heading to the restaraunt of choice only to find it wasn't open. So we went to another place. Bad service, but the food was good and I had a tasty chocolate shake. I tried to get to bed early that night so that I could get enough sleep before I had to get up on Monday, but it didn't really work.
I had set my alarm to wake up at 9 am yesterday and at 9:15 my Aunt came in and said she didn't know how much time I needed to get ready so she thought she'd wake me up. Turns out the power had gone out 'cause my clock was flashing and my alarm didn't go off. So, I got up and got ready and then I drove Aunt Maureen and I out to EMP in Seattle. I ended up getting a membership there 'cause it was only an extra five bucks from the price for the two of us so now I can get in for free whenever I want for a year and they gave me a bunch of extra goodies. Only problem is that I can't ever go there alone and no one I know has money to go or would want to go with me, I'm sure. Anyway, Aunt Maureen and I had fun there and then we went and ate before heading over to Pike Place Market. I didn't know how to get there from EMP so it took us a while thanks to the evil one-way streets in Seattle. lol I was determined to get us there though so it eventually woked 'cause I knew basically the direction it was in at least. I got a little sand-bag creature. I don't know if that makes sense, but I know everyone's seen them. lol It's a dragon. :) I've had a lizard one for years, but I'd never even seen a dragon one and it was cute so I got one that's blue and sparkly. :D
I got to chill for a bit when we got home and then it was off to work which was mostly the same as it usually is. After work I went and picked up Autumn and we went to the store to get cake stuff. Friday is Andrew's birthday so Autumn and I decided we were going to make him cupcakes. :) We got the rainbow party chip cake mix, a number 2 candle and a 0 candle, blue frosting gel, and oreo frosting. When we got to my house we had ice cream and chatted and then we got to baking. and when all the cupcakes were frosted, I wrote a letter on each to spell out happy birthday. It was lots of fun! lol Then we watched some random stuff followed by Bend It Like Beckham because Autumn hadn't seen it yet and she didn't know the love of Coach Joe. lol Around 3 am we finally went to bed. Oops.
We got up at 9:30 am and got ready and left to meet Andrew for food before the movie. He liked the cupcakes a lot so that was good. :) Then we went to get sandwhiches and I was the only one who actually got any food! Autumn didn't get anything and Andrew just got a smoothie whereas I got a big old sandwhich and a smoothie. I thought the point of going to get food before the movie was you know, getting food! Whatever. We walked around outside and then headed into the theatre. We saw The Rundown. It was pretty good. I liked it, but again, not the best movie ever. I think I'm a bit down on movies right now because I haven't seen any REALLY good movies for quite a while which is sort of odd for me. After the movie Andrew left to go write a paper and Autumn and I went to the arcade where I got a 643 max combo on Dance Maniax! It was all like, "WOAH!" lol It was the first game I played and I played it at 2.5x speed and I hadn't played it in months so it's sort of crazy that I got a perfext combo for the whole three stages. I also played lots and lots of ParaPara and I decided to be adventurous and try Freestyle Nonstop Hard. And guess what... it was HARD! lol I'm pretty good at Normal Nonstop Freestyle, but the Hard jumps like way up in dificulty from Normal. lol It was lots of fun though and I was starting to get better after a bit. My arm muscles are all way buff now. ;) lmao
I got home after dropping Autumn off and then I left fairly quick after that for Russian. I didn't feel good the whole way coming home up until about half-way through this entry, but I'm starting to feel better. lol Besides the fact that my nose burns from constant tissue contact since it was an allergy day. ;) Hehehe. My poor nose. Anyway, I guess there's really nothing else worth posting, at least that I can remember. TTFN!

Have you ever come up with a really cool, creative idea, but you thought to yourself that it just wouldn't work or you already had something else planned sort of the same and what would you do with the previous idea? Wow, that was a jumble of stuff no one save me will understand, I'm sure. So, I came up with a new domain name/site today. And I sort of already had a name for this thing I was planning, but the new name's really cool too and I made a spiffy little logo for it in Photoshop and it looks cool, but I just don't know. And I don't know if my idea will even pan out or not. But I guess I feel like maybe I ought to just try it. It definatly deserves some thought and some prayers for sure at least. :)
So, today at work was a bit slower than yesterday, but still a bit busy. Yesterday we got hit with something around 120 people for the show. That's very unusual for a weeknight during the school year. But since I'm out of school and I don't know anyone I talk to often who's still in school, I was unaware that today and tomorrow there's no school so that's why the show's were bigger. lol Good for business though so I can't really complain. :)
You know, I actually got out of bed at 8:30 this morning? And that's compared with the usual 1 pm to 2:30 pm time that I normally get up. I'm hoping to fix my sleeping pattern back to a more sane schedule, but seeing as how it's about 10:30 pm right now and I'm not really tired at all, I don't know that that will happen. lol Oh well. Let's see... with my morning I watched some TV, talked to Autumn for quite a while, watched a little Saved By The Bell and then I got on the computer and did good things. :) lol I put up the fanlisting for "She Wants Me" by Nick and Aaron finally. :) I had to get an extension on it because I didn't have it done within a month, but it only took me an extra week. The layout that's up there right now is pretty much just temporary until the music video comes out and I can get my hands on some caps. lol
I re-painted my nails last night. On the way home from work I went to the store to get ingredients for Banana Nut Bread and I also got a few more things while returning videos(The Core, which was quite good despite the fact that that whole situation is quite improbbable, and Down With Love, because I didn't want to wait for my DVD to come in the mail, lol). So, I got nail polish remover since we were out and took off my chipping stuff. Then I did this light, sort of clear-ish yellow with fusia diagonal stripes and then sparkles on top. My nails look like Christmas presents. :D Hehehe. I don't think there's anything else to post about just now so I'll be off. Ta ta!

Happy 18 and a half b-day to me! lmao Yes, I'm a dork, I celebrate my half-birthday. *giggles* It's fun so why not? And it's not like I ask for presents or make a big deal about it, I just know when it is and tell myself to have a happy day. And you know what, a happy day it's been! :D Well, there was one sort of sad thing. Someone called when my mom was on the phone with my Grandma so she switched over real quick to see who and well, Russian doesn't start tomorrow after all. :( Sadness and sniffles, I know. Guess the teach is sick so it's being postponed a week and then it's just going to last a week longer than originally. No biggie really, but I was looking forward to class. Perhaps it's better this way though.
God was so nice to me in other respects though! :D He gave me some motivation to work on John's site so I got a number of things done and hopefully it'll be mostly finished in a day or two. There's still a lot of pictures to add to products -- there's gotta be around a thousand -- but that doesn't have to be finished before the site goes up the public. Feels like everything's going good with it though. :) So thanks to God for that one! :D
I also got an e-mail from Gary(the guy who was doing the theatre website). He asked me how things were going and I told him they're going great because they are. :) Then he told me how much they've decided on giving me as a flat fee for updating per movie(usually once a week) and sending out a weekly e-mail. I'm not going to say how much it is, but it's good. lol Thanks to God for that one too! For sure! And he said he's going to be giving me $25 an hour for re-designing the layout. I made one up before, but it needs work and I think I'm mostly going to scrap the whole thing and do something fairly different. We'll see on that and I pray God gives me some good ideas for it and the ability to make them in Photoshop. That's always the fun part. How to get what's in your head done in Photoshop. lol It usually comes out fairly close, or at least close enough anyway. But to wrap off this paragraph, then he asked me if I wanted to take a job re-designing a site for a performance theatre! lol Now I've got two jobs I'm in the process of doing and each one of those has already referred me to another person. I should feel stressed, but God's helping me out so I feel good right now. :)
In other news, before I left for work I finally got to talk to Andrew! We'd been playing phone tag for 4-5 days! lol So we talked for a bit and eventually him, Autumn, and I are going to see a movie, but we still don't know when. lol But eventually. :) Then I had to go so I could get to work. I was five minutes late which wasn't good, but isn't really a big deal or anything. We had a fair show tonight. I should know the exact number of people since I counted down after the movie started, but I can't remember. Hehe. Oops. Anyway, it was something in the twenties I think. Would have been nice to have more people, but since it's the school year now we're not getting very big crowds on the weekdays.
Humm... I'm trying to think if I've got anything else blog-worthy to say just now, but I don't think I do. Oh wait, I got another question that I answered. :) You can all see them and ask questions by clicking the "Ask Me Something" link over to the right. Well, guess this is it for now. :) Ta ta!

Today's my mom's b-day! :) Happy b-day Mommy!!! Yay! lol And then tomorrow's my half b-day. ;) Hehehe. Let's see... where to begin the rest of the blog entry at? I guess we'll start with yesterday. So, yesterday 2 Fast 2 Furious showed up in the mail box so I watched half of it before I went to work. I was all excited too because I discovered it has the same little film short that the tricked out version of The Fast and the Furious has and I hadn't seen it so I was all happy. But then... I watched it. There was like no point! lol I'd already surmized all the details of what happened between the end of the first one and the beginning of the second one and the short was pointless really. Oh well. I ended up watching the rest of the movie along with some of the other bonus material after I got home from work. Some of the bonus stuff was pretty cool at least. :)
Pretty much the same old, same old at work yesterday. We had a good crowd the first show and a fairly large crowd the second so buisness was good in comparison to a few of our last Saturdays. I watched the movie during the first show. It was funny! lol I reccommend that you all see Secondhand Lions. It's not like so good that you can't wait till it comes to video, but you should at least rent it if you don't see it in the theatres. I liked it. :) I don't really remember anything else about yesterday. lol My poor brian is like outta whack or something.
So today was mommy's b-day so once I finally got up(I was bad and slept instead of going to church) I took a shower and then we went out to eat. We went to Mexican and it was good. :) Then we came home and I watched TV before my mom and I left to see... Secondhand Lions. lol Who says you can't go see a movie two days in a row? Or better yet, twice in one day like I did the first day of PotC! lmao
We came home after the movie and I sort of milled about. Then dad got home and he helped me put the back-board thing for my bed up. Once that was done I could finally put on my Care Bears bed-set! Woo! It's so freakin' cool man! lol I even took a picture to show you all with my digital camera, but then I decided that it was just too much effort to load it onto my computer and then upload it here so I deleted it and turned my camera off. Sad, I know. Well, now I guess I'll be off. This seems to have been a boring blog entry so I'd best not drag on with it like I normally tend to do. TTFN!

Yay! People finally asked me questions on the new script! And they were good questions too. Especially the second one although I don't want to know how someone thought that up. ;) lol And the Taggy's had a few posts. Most recently from Ani and Breanne so thanks you two. :) And thanks to the others who've tagged as well! I know I should plug you all, but I'm just too darn lazy. Yell at me later okay? Hehehe. The tag could use more love and the guestbook could too. Just a thought. ;)
So yesterday at work I had an adventure. :) lol I got to change the popping oil. For those of you that don't know(most of you, I'm guessing), popping oil is what we stick in the popcorn kettle so that the kernals won't burn and the popcorn tastes good. It's really gross though. It's like the nastiest, greasiest thing you could think of and it's think and orange. lol Really icky. Anyway, I was working with Ben and Brian K. and they were complaining because they hate changing the stuff and it needed to be done because we were running out. So I piped up and said that I'd do it. I mean, who cares really, right? So I did with a little bit of help and direction from Brian. Then I was trying to get the little pump that goes down into the oil bucket screwed back on and it just would not screw back on! lmao So of course Ben and Brian had to point out that it's not that easy now is it? *rolls eyes* They keep me quite entertained for the most part. ;) So I had "water-proof" hands afterwards, as Ben calls it. It takes a good amount of soap to get that oil off of your fingers and then of course it had to get stuck under my nails. lol But, it's really not as bad as they try to make it out to be.
I came home and decided that... I wanted to paint my nails. lol It's been a while since I've done that. Last time was when I went over to Ani's when she was getting ready for Prom and I painted my nails while she painted hers and we watched a movie. Actually, I've still got a little bit on one of my big toes. lol So anyway, I decided to go with this clear-ish bright orange that I have. Then I painted the top half of my nails purple with a bit of a diagonal line rather than just straight. And then of course I had to put sparkles on the top. :D It actually looks pretty cool. lol I did that while I watched The Mummy Returns last night.
Today I got up and out of bed quite a bit later than I had planned. Oh well, I expect it pretty much now. lol I got up and dressed and then went to check the mail to see if my DVDs had arrived. I got an e-mail the other day saying that two of them were shipped out. So, I open the mailbox and, well, at least one of them came! lol I'm guessing 2 Fast 2 Furious should come tomorrow or Monday. Hopefully tomorrow though. So what came today? Bend It Like Beckham. :) Ahh... lovely Irish coach name Joe. I'd go for him too. ;) lmao I'm a sucker for Irish boys. And Canadian boys... and Scottish, English, etc. lol American boys are all right too, but man, it's those accents, I tell ya. ;) *giggles* Enough of that.
I had to stop the movie about half-way through to go to work. I was bummed, but oh well. I was sort of thinking of watching the movie today during the first showing, but then before I left, I decided to bring my book and that I'd just read and watch it later. We started Secondhand Lions today and I want to see it, but so does my mom so hopefully her and I will watch it tomorrow or Sunday.
During the first show I read a fair amount. And then when the movie was over Brian(K. again) goes something like, "Hey Holly, did you know there's a Backstreet Boy in this movie?" I looked at him like whatever Brian and then said, "I'd know if there was a Backstreet Boy in this movie." lol And I'd imagine that I would too, you know! lol So, he makes this big deal about it and when the scene comes on him and Ben run in so I follow to see. And of course, it was not a Backstreet Boy! Oy! I'm thinking they thought it was Kevin, but the only way I deduced that is that the guy in the movie had a bit of the same sort of facial hair look as Kevin, but it sure as heck was not him! lmao Oh, and speaking of Kevin, I can't forget to say...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEVIN!!!
Edit: Oh duh! *smacks forehead* And Streeted.net did re-open today. :) I'm such a dork that I forgot to post it in with my other stuff above! lol So yes, Kevin should feel extra special that I re-opened my BSB domain on his b-day. ;) lol

Well, I got the question script setup. :D It's on over to the right, I'm pretty sure you can't miss it. lol Turns out that my sql database I have on this domain can apparenly only handle having one table so I just had to install the script over on 4606.net and link it back from over here. Blarg to that, but oh well. lol Now, hopefully this little script will come to good use. *hint, hint* ;)
Well, today I got up and the appraisal guy was here doing the final appraisal for the house now that it's all built and whatnot. Then I watched the rest of Stargate 'cause mom and I started it last night, but didn't feel like watching the whole thing then so we finished it today. And after that I did some work on un-packing more of my room. There's still quite a number of boxes all over the place, but you can see more of the floor now and my bookshelf is almost back to normal. lol I might get my bed in it's proper place tonight and get my Care Bears bedding on it, but it depends on if my parents can help me after I get back from work or not. I need to have my dad cover up the wires hanging out of the wall and also have him or mom attach the head-board thing that's not really a board. lol I don't know what you would call it. Whatever.
I feel like I'm having a major sinus attack or something and I guess I sort of am. I didn't think there was that much dust to be moved around from me opening boxes, but apparently there was at least enough to get me sneezing and give me a bit of a headache. Hope it goes away soon. lol It'd be especially nice if it'd go away before work. I don't think we'll have a big croud, but still. Okay, off I go now. I need to do something productive in my room or with website things. Ta ta!
